Correct. He will never be the same his conditioning isn’t there he of course isn’t as fast he was which was one of his greatest pros of his game because of his movement was a big part of his game also
@@tfries72 He should of stayed lean mean and ripped to shreds, focused on deadlifts and running for strength and kept fighting with his bladed karate stance where he danced on the ball of his feet. now He is flat footed, over weight by way of excesss muscle, and his cardio and reflxes are ruined by cocaine destorhying his nervous system, he definitely is a weathered and washed up drug addict now, living on ego and fame only

The sparring partner’s aren’t even trying to make him work or hit him, he needs sparring partner going full pace and trying to take his head off, he needs that to keep him sharp and faster timing.
He has slowed down majorly, but perhaps as he drops the weight his old speed might return

Okay he has won 1 fight in 6 years. Over a washed Cerrone who from the fight looked like he took a dive. Mcgregor was great for the sport. He was a different person 10 years ago. Not he’s a bloated foul mouthed roided bum. I’ve been watching since 93
He’s not destroying them. But it’s interesting to see how different he moves now compared to the last few times he’s fought. He was definitely stiffer in the Khabib fight even. Now it seems the time off and probably the medical treatments you can access with his kind of money have made a huge difference. He was probably carrying a lot of injuries for a long time. His ACL tear, broken toes and broken leg were all on the same leg. This means it’s likely that his stress fractures prior to the Dustin fight were probably a result of him compensating for injuries in his knee and toes. These can take a long time to heal and you need proper physio to train out compensatory movement over time so that you don’t further injure yourself. I think he tried to pretend for a long time that nothing was wrong. His brand couldn’t afford people to think he was in bad shape.
But now he’s been through all that shit. There’s nothing anyone can say that he hasn’t hear before and he actually looks like he’s healed. And that titanium leg is going to be a serious weapon.
He’s moving better than he used to. In weird ways we haven’t seen. He’s actually throwing kicks again. And it looks like he’s worked out ways to check those calf kicks.

that being said i see him flat footed not in his "karate" stance on the toes fast twitch in-and-out style . i'm afraid if he doesn't go back to that it may already be too late for him . mind you chandler has been sticking to a fighters lifestyle ,eatin nails for breakfast while conor just started to train after his movie obligations . ill route for conor till he hangs it up but i think he's going to lose to chandler . thats a big ask for someone that's been out of the octagon for 3 years healing from such a massive surgery . i see conor loosing by submission or tko
