- A compilation of various train horns I have captured over the years.
This one I kind of threw together, next one will be better.
One of the clips in this video (VIA Rail emergency horn in the countryside) was sent to me. I was on that train and I was given permission to post their clip here.

Found a lot of polyphonic jazzy tune in this compilation, they take me to a magic world when i hear them.

The horn at 1:09 is a hybrid K5LL known as the K5CA-LS (according to Airchime's website), the horn at 3:12 is also a K5CA-LS.

Amazing sounds (and sights) makes me think of the old Wild West! I can't ever remember hearing grand train horns here in the UK, where they don't give a crap about traditions.

I think that might be the Tottenham steam train, only working steam train in Canada as far as I know. I live not far from it ^^
Edit: Just went back to check the train and it is absolutely the South Simcoe steam train likely coming back from Beeton if I'm not mistaken.
