Thanks so much for the video, and the recommendation for Salkantay Trekking. I had a friend who also recommended them. and I'm hoping to make it back to Peru to do a four or five day Ausangate Trek. If you ever make it back to Peru, I recommend checking out the Huayhuash Trek.

Hi, which tour company did you do this trek with? would you have the name and their contact info, please?
Thanks for sharing the video, just came back from Peru, I did the same exact hike w a different tour company, I am trying to understand why you decided to pay 100 dollars, I did the same exact tour w 3 people and each of us paid around less than 30 bucks, w bfast and amazing lunch included as well as pick up hotel. Anyways, next time I should suggest browsing around other tours, they ripped you off honestly.
It was the first thing I did in Peru and just wanted to make sure I picked a reputable company with lots of good reviews, because I was a 20 year old young girl traveling alone. I had other travelers telling me about getting scammed by cheap companies in Peru, so I wanted to make sure I would be safe.
@@samanthaelliott as a Peruvian girl, who has solo travelled through many continents, I can definitely say that having this peace of mind is priceless. You do you girl, no one wants to have their time abroad tour by a shitty tour operator and sometimes paying is the way to go!
