How to Choose the Best HDB BTO Unit: IMPORTANT Tips

Sharing some of my personal tips & experience to choose a good BTO unit. Congratulations if you have been given an appointment to select your HDB BTO unit.

Some of the things you need to take note of:
1 - Choose a higher floor
2 - Choose units away from refuse bin chute collection ara
3 - Choose unit away from carparks
4 - Choose unit away from multipurpose court area
On another hand, do take note that choosing your BTO unit is competitive; you are facing also other home owners who could also be keen in the unit that you are looking at.
As much as we will like to go according to our wish list, it is better to offer some options, in case if you do not get the most desired unit.

Thanks for the tips, ultimately it also depends on the Q number received by the individual.
If the Q number is out of supply seriously there're little good options left and yet not choosing will incur penalty unless left with ten units or less .. so it depends on individual luck..
