    😂 I totally dispute the claims - and I own a Wildtrak. Based on experience it is an excellent and comfy daily and long distance driver. The Turbo powerful and the vehicle takes off smoothly - in sport mode it flies!
    The vehicle is worth every penny!

    I have a 22 wild track and never had a problem, little to none road noise is expected but with the radio on and or having a conversation I don't even hear it.

    I own a 2024 Wildtrak and put 5000 miles on it in 2 months and I also have a 2023 GLC 300. The Bronco is an ideal car for long distances as well as a car for every day. She is beautiful and her design will be relevant even after 10 years. I am in love with this car and drive it much more often than my Mercedes.The car is very dynamic and even after my Camaro 2ss 2020, everything that the author says is an absolutely personal opinion that does not correspond to reality

  • @bloubergsands
    @bloubergsands 5 месяцев назад +23

    Totally disagree! I have a '24 Badlands Sasquatch. Yes, road noise is as expected, it's not a luxury SUV, but power delivery in the 2.7 is fantastic. Value for the money in my opinion.

  • @streetrodder06
    @streetrodder06 5 месяцев назад +9

    I daily a 23 Big Bend soft top. Ride is comfortable even with the upgraded 33" all terrains I added. noise is a reasonable complaint, but you can carry a normal volume conversation. Power/trans: spend $600 and get a Ford Performance procal 4 tuner. problems solved. That's what I did. Mine was only $42k, fairly reasonable.

  • @skeeter9252
    @skeeter9252 Месяц назад +4

    I have the 22 Bronco and I can tell you there is no issue with power. The 2.7 is a great motor and with the twin turbos it gets up and moves just fine for a SUV. Noise is also not an issue and as for comfort, I have no issues there either. Sounds like someone is just mad cause he can't afford one!!

    I’ve only owned F250’s the past 20 years and in 2023 I decided to buy a Bronco Bandlands. I wasn’t sure if I did the right thing but, a year later and 12,000 miles, I can say It’s been reliable and a fun vehicle to drive. The down side was I wanted to trade up to a Bronco Raptor and my local dealer didn’t want to make a deal (and I paid below MSRP) so now I’m looking to deal with another dealer.

  • @stevetren9248

    Test drove one this past weekend (hard top). The suspension seems smooth and a nice ride. The road noise on the highway was pretty bad, side roads actually just fine.. It seemed VERY powerful but I did notice the slight lag you mention. I loved the car but not at 60K+ . Insane prices.

  • @Terrarunner24

    I had my wildtrak for 1 day and it quit starting in the morning. It sat in the shop for a month and found out the fuel pump failed. Not to mention just random issues with the infotainment and stuff. That’s why it’s gone and I went back to a 4Runner. Almost 70k for something that breaks immediately is just trash I think.

    I've really been wanting to get into a body on frame SUV lately as all my cars have been sports cars. Always needed to rent SUV's when i wanted to go on adventures. Are these REALLY that bad day to day compared to the stiff suspension of a sports car where you quite literally feel the smallest road imperfection?

  • @bronco-badlands
    @bronco-badlands Месяц назад

    1. It’s an off-roader, you buy it knowing it’s going to be loud inside. If not, get a fancy X3 to experience the luxury. 2. Power delivery is sweet on the 2.7L, no lag as mentioned, not sure how your version feels choppy but I confirm it does not. 3. Price tag, yes it’s high, but no need to buy the WildtraK as everyone knows the real off-roader is the Badlands, has all the buttons and Baja mode is just like the sport mode - essentially cheaper but hey, you pay to play. 😂 … just 2 cents from the daily driver of a BL 2-Dr.

    I had a 2016 wrangler. The Bronco is light years above where that thing was in driveability. It’s smooth, comfortable, and was much cheaper to get into. I will say that the transmission is clunky and indecisive at first, but it smooths out in a flash. The noise complaint is slander compared to wrangler. That’s all.

    I have 2023 Wildtrak, one of the best vehicles I have owned. I traded in my 2015 BMW X6 M and I have never looked back. This vehicle is a great daily driver and the suspension is amazing. Also, I have had the top off and enjoying the summer. I would recommend you ease off on your criticisms because you can’t change the world. People buy vehicles for their own reasons, that’s what makes the world go round. I can take this vehicle anywhere and have fun doing it. And yes vehicles are expensive, so buy used if you can’t afford them.

    Disagree with the Fox suspension. I find no problems. Agree the 2.7L. It’s fine for the 2-door model, but the 3.0L option is needed for the 4-door. And prices are starting to come down. I saw a Wildtrak (3.0L) marked at 61k at a dealer recently.

    Seems all of these arguments could be said about the Wrangler as well, but there are millions of those things in the road. People don’t seem to care about ride quality and fuel economy if it looks cool enough.

    • @untamedreviews
      @untamedreviews  3 месяца назад +1

      Displacement refers to size. Anything less than a 4.0L for an SUV of this size is definitely “small” …certainly a 2.7L. It’s a tiny engine that is arguably overworked to generate top-tier power. Larger displacement (naturally aspirated motors) have less stress to generate power.

    This guy is pretty much wrong on all counts. I have a ‘23 Badlands Sasquatch. This car is very capable off road and is actually amazingly comfortable on the highway also. But yes, it is a compromise. It is impossible for one vehicle to be great OffRoad and great on the highway. Most people would understand that fact. And yes, wind noise is higher than any high end family sedan. But conversations or listening to radio are not a problem. Engine lag? Tranny harsh? My 2.7 v6 ranks as one of the best engines I have ever owned. Very linear, very smooth, very powerful. The transmission shifts noiselessly and is always in the right gear. It’s an amazing 10speed. The price? I paid about 65k for my loaded Bronco and certainly do wish it was cheaper. But a Range Rover, Mercedes, Toyota or Jeep similarly equipped cost as much or more. New cars are expensive. You can but a little Toyota or Honda sedan for 30k and if that floats your boat then great. But we are talking about OffRoad vehicles. Obviously you can find a good used OffRoad vehicle cheaper than a Bronco. But used cars are rarely actually cheap. Bottom line is the Bronco is not for everyone. But for some of us it’s as perfect as we can find.

    What this guy is actually saying is, 3 reasons why he can’t afford a bronco. He doesn’t even own this car. All cars at this caliber is minimum 50k. Tacoma Trd can get to 63k. Chevy Colorado around 64k. And the Wrangler is 7k more. Comparable options.

    This guy has not driven a jeep or any vehicle that has large wheels 😂. The hard top is quiet compared to its competitors. I do agree its 10k overpriced.
