A straight line y=-x+4 cuts the parabola with equation y=16-x^2 at the points A and B.
    a.Find the coordinates of A and B
b.Calculate the distance between the points A and B
c.Find the equation of the tangents at A and B, and hence determine where the tangents meet.
d.At the point where A and B meet, the line Q is perpendicular to the line B. find the equation of the lin

question ... if we want to find the area bounded by these two lines
we should integrate ( the top line function - the bottom line function ) from negative1 to 2
    am i right ??!

Graphing parabolas without a calculator can be a pain, especially with ones that get more and more complicated. For linear lines, just graph it normally, but parabolas are probably better off just using a calculator.
