  • Watch as we pick up this 1969 Camaro and bring it to the shop to start the rebuild. This one hasn't seen the road since 1975. I was told that it went off the road sideways through a fence and wrecked the right rear quarter panel. Sometime after that they pulled the engine and transmission. Its been waiting patiently ever since.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. My brother had a 69 he bought in 78 or early 79. He drove it throughout his high school years. Good times in that car!

This one was already wrecked and off the road by then, been waiting ever since. I can't wait to get it back out there!

Yes! I remember talking about the day you would fix this up! We must have been 9 years old!? So awesome you're doing this! I know the videos can be a lot of work but keep em rolling!

It’s great that you’re getting those helpers involved. I love it. Good seeing a fellow Minnesotan build a following the right way. Cool car. It’s going to be a sweet ride.

Nice. What a cool find. Gotta love the Bow Tie. That's going to be a fun build. That will be the day when I run into a 69 Camaro with the right price.

Its nice to see I'm not alone in my garage rebuilding my Camaro! Lol. I have been working on mine for close to 2 years now. I got it as just the shell- firewall to tail panel- and nothing else. I picked up a ton of stuff and now have about 98% of the car, I just have to finish putting it all together. I have a long way to go yet but I at least have it built to the point of being a roller. People told me that it was way beyond save able and I was insane to try, but I have been proving them wrong and doing videos to prove it! Lol. I'm dropping a 454 with a 4 speed in it, I haven't decided on rear gearing yet though.

That car has been setting in the same place for your entire life, Art…. Until now. It’s good to see you are going to get it back on the road again after all these years. It still looks like it’s good and solid and I know it will be a really nice car when you get done with it. God bless you and your family.

I can’t decide if 69 or 68 was the best year for Camero. Today it’s 69! Go Art! ( ex uncle Pete)

My Dad actually bought this car back in the eighties real cheap. He was an auto body man and was always fixing repairables. I think He bought it as a someday project and parked it in the back of the pole barn. I built a shop and have been doing a few daily driver type repairables over the last few years and thought now it's time to do a fun one.
