@billyshumate853 Hi Billy! Sure is a mess...so frustrating too! Lol! It sounds like you have encountered this as well? The green ones did ripen up nicely as you said! Thank you for watching Billy...take care and have a great day! 😊🌻
Good morning Kathi! It seems that this was the year for garden hardship...so many people with the same issues! Hopefully next year will be better! Take care and thank you for your kind words!
Good morning Bill! Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words! It sure is...farming is always a crap shoot! But, at least I was able to salvage some of those tomatoes! Take care and I hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
@C3Voyage yes!! That is what it was called in that old article!! Thank you for that tip...I will have to try Daconil. So frustrating to see all of our hard work go down the tubes, eh?!
We have blight this year as well. My plan for next year is to solarize all the beds and to only buy blight resistant varieties. I will also try the treatment you suggested.
Good morning Yev! Blight seems to have taken over everywhere...so sad! I was wondering about solarizing the soil too...we will have to try everything to save our crops...so frustrating isn't it?!
Hi Alana thanks for sharing the video. It must have been heart breaking with the tomatoes. That is just what mine looked like a few years ago. I didn't realise that blight could affect so many things, let's hope you have a great crop next year. Maybe that's why i can grow potatoes again as all my garden waste is taken away, but someone told me to feed the potatoes every fortnight so I have tried it and that kept the blight at bay or is it a combination of the two?.Thanks again take care and be safe 👍 😊.
Good morning Kelvin! It is so heartbreaking to see the tomatoes die off so quickly after so much hard work! I will say that I was able to salvage some so I was lucky that way! I will have to try feeding ours like you do and make sure every volunteer plant is gone! Thank you again for watching and I hope your day is great!
Hi there! Thank you very much for watching and for your tips! Isn't this so frustrating? So much waste!..like you said, it happens, so we just have to do what we can! Take care and have a lovely day!
@alanacawker-therusticwife you too. I am old school i don't waste. And it didn't kill my ancestors or me. And I have women in my family that lived well past 100
Did you lose your Tomato Crop this year too from Late Blight?! I was able to salvage some but man, this has been a disappointing year for tomatoes!
What a mess. Go ahead and pick the green ones and salvage what you can. Take care and have a blessed and safe day ❤

Oh my friend. Terrible. You should have named the rooster Joseph Balaz. Hahaha
Hahaha! Hi Jess! I totally should have...maybe that can be his middle name? "Pedro Joseph Balaz, Sanchez" I like it!! 😁😂
It was a hard year for our garden. Just too hot and dry. We hope for a better year next year! It's nice to see you back, by the way!

It happens. Gather up all you can. Clean and trim. Cannot as diced tomatoes. You can use the tomatoes just trim them! Then burn the plants.
