    Pacific, 1944. USMC Kodacolor 16mm footage. Sometimes rockets were still attached to the wings of the planes back from the mission. The rockets were often "launched" over the carrier's bridge during the crashes. Some of them exploded causing heavy damages to the ship.
    At the end of the clip we can see how damaged planes are directly dropped in the ocean!
