- The swell was peaking this morning and there were waves breaking out past the Shark Drumlines at Snapper Rocks. Once the king tide peaked the take off point moved in closer to the rocks and offered some solid rides all the way through Greenmount.

Legend has it that a man surfed a wave to himself out at Snapper. The man was Miick Ocker and the year was 1927.

The boyz charging some absolute Freight Training bombs! Comical watching the guys being assisted with ski’s but can’t even muster step offs.
I can only imagine how my arms would feel after a day like this. Non stop paddling.
What a life these guys must lead to bail out with so much wave left. Granted it’s a long paddle to the lineup, still, if I ever snag one like that I’m riding it all the way to the white water.

There's lil ol me at the 9 sec mark, standing on the rocks at the waters edge. Was an epic day to witness this surf thats for sure.

Looks like potentially a very unpleasant day for duckdiving.
Fun looking big waves! And a fair bit of uncharacteristically bad choices (Aussies usually seem to be on a uniformly higher level of surfing), especially paddling in front of riders. End result is entertaining though!

That was the peak of the swell
It was breaking way out the back early on before the tide filled in. I think that first wave was the only wave ridden from out there.

It's the south Coast of China
Saw one guy almost take the entire ride, but no idea what inside was looking like. Maybe stay on a few to watch the inside
I got plenty of footage of rides going all the way through the inside (until the view gets obstructed). Most waves got pretty fat and slow so it wasn't very entertaining.

Isn't good enough? Mate you understand this bloke isn't getting paid to share all this epic footage. It's obviously a hobby. He is commiting his time and money into this so we can enjoy it! Love the clips and the efforts he goes to. One of the best channels on the gold coast!!!
