Ive just watched this video 3 times ... and this thing has to be the most absolutely, precise, perfect, beautiful piece of machine i have ever ... EVER, seen in my life. When you first see the price, it does take the wind out of you ... but the more you watch this video, the price seems to be actually to cheap, for the quality and workmanship. Like an actual working LCD screen in the cab, and the cab door handle actually turns and unclicks ... and the hydraulic cooler, and filter ... and hydraulic hard lines. I watched this over, and over ... and you cannot fault this, even with a fine tooth comb ... im speechless. You are EXTREMELY lucky to be able to have one of these :) Thank you for the video!

I have to disagree with you. I have seen something like this before. But, that was the original 970 from Liebherr :) A really first class model. Very very nice.

How does this compare with Premacon and THS shop units?
When it comes to the metal work it is at the level of the Germans. Regarding hydraulics and eletrics the chinese in general tend to cut some corners, put cheap stuff to save a couple of cents, put that's no bigger deal to sort out to people experienced with these kind of models. These high level models are not for beginners to service.

Hi, really nice high level review, I got my k970 now :) it was 2 loose screws that I found in the soft plastic, one was for the counter weight and one tiny screw was for the glass window to the oil tank. Have you had any issues / problems you want to share ?

nice review so far, however, none of these parts and components are handcrafted, but rather they are machined. China has hundreds and thousands of CNC machines in thousands of warehouse complexes

sound stays the same when doing movements etc , thats odd , it should change with load
I have the same problem. Sound get stuck in idle mood sometimes and that sound stays there until I turn off/on the sound again. I’ll change to Servonaut SMB
This is not a review, this is an overview . So many people are having leak issues with this machine. Just read on Facebook. I bet however that your machine did not have any leaks 🤷♀️

I just don’t like the exposed pump/motor at the base of the main boom. The full scale is not like that. It looks bad to see that blue unit there... does Kabolite have a cover for it?

It is a amazing excavator but is the hydraulic strong enough? I saw a few videos and I‘ve the feelings that the ain‘t. Also when you look from @28:38 till 29:51 the bucket comes slowly down. You can fast forward or look at the hight at the Controller.

The chinese are developing quite fast within equipment for this hobby. They master the design and metalwork great now, just looking at this machine as an example. But they are still some step behind when it comes to the quality of the eletrics/electronics but in their models, and not as finetuned hydraulic systems as the German brands. But it's likely just a matter of time before Premacon and THS see some serious competition... As of now it seems the German brands do not worry too much about potential chinese competition, and keeps the line of high cost models. I would think it was time for them to look closer how they can streamline production, maybe simplify, and move the prices a bit lower towards the competition, in order to 'stay alive'. Anyway, hope it ends well, and not the chinese taking over the whole industry.
Very true. I just bought a large machine from China. If the same machine from Germany was somewhere closer in price I would have paid a little more and bought it.

I can confirm, I have serial 026 - stick cylinder leaked direct from factory, valve block also leaking direct from factory. Thankfully I have replacement parts coming, but I as the consumer shouldn’t be stuck repairing something with such poor quality control. The machine should have been replaced. My impressions have not been good, same with multiple others who have purchased these. It appears the early production models are the ones with the leaking issues.
Anyone thinking if buying this machine, had better read all the reviews. This review in this post is purely cosmetic; it is not functional. 9,000.00 $ for a machine that leaks like a sieve is ridiculous. Beware, you have been warned!

Getting it cheaper from a dealer on the other side of the world is not much of a comfort when things breaks down and there is no good service around. You are totally on your own in most cases. I've seen much RC equipment just dusting down under a table as the owner don't know how to fix things and get parts. But he got it 'cheap', paid 3000 instead of 4000, so 'no problem if he have to throw it in the garbage'

Honestly ... when you see the quality, and think about the amount of labor involved in manufacturing every piece and THEN the assembly time ... the price is absolutely reasonable. Lets be honest ... it has to be hand assembled right? And I cant see that thing being built in under a week, working on it 12 hours a day ... no chance ... you couldnt have it so perfect, and precise ... im guessing it would take someone a month to assemble that. What do you guys think?
