Imagine the horror on my face when i tried this map for the first time, not knowing exactly how strong faust was, and have him one-shot my saria w shining's def buff
What level is your saria? I just finished it blind and my saria is fine without buffer. (E2 lv 30)

I was confused when my Saria just died.

Really nice of you letting us know that level 4 skills is enough for all of these maps. Grinding for mats as a f2p is a little bit taxing. Thanks again for all of your guide man. Also the timing on this map is quite tight lol, that edit @7:27 is funny af man.

hey man, i just wanna say thank you with the guides you provided. i'm not using all of your guide because i love to challenge myself, how well i could utilize my operators myself. but there are stages like this stage that's fkn difficult without knowing critical points of the stage, i.e in this stage we have faust critical shoot for every 6 shots and you can count it then deploy gravel, or the placement of ifrit there.
anyway, thank you for the hard work, i might rely on your again in future content that i couldn't beat myself.

very late comment, but if you followed kyostin's steps right before he messes up, in a pinch at 7:18 you can try to activate cuoras skill to tank the critical shot and save your run (ofc will be dependent on cuora's skill level, skill level of the ranged ops to clear out more enemies so that cuora will have more hp ready, etc) :P good luck doctors, and thanks for the vid kyo!

Pro tip in addition to this great guide, put Lancet 2 below ifrit. She'll be the safety net in case you were too slow in deploying someone. Especially those mortars at the bottom right
Ugh, managed to clear in practice thanks to this guide and a friend's Ifrit.
Lost in a real attempt because I apparently can't count to 7 and gotta wait for my friend's Ifrit to come back. :(

a note tho if you have hoshi on her S3 the bottom lane will be more easier
I think they updated the game a little since this video was uploaded. Ifrit keeps getting hit by the drones that come out in front of her and eventually kill her around halfway through so I can't use this strategy. I watched closely and the drones never attacked your Ifrit (I followed your strategy exactly)

@@neardarkroad1347 I used someone else's strategy from RUclips. Don't remember whose though as this was months ago for me. Since you're gonna have different operators at different levels, it's up to you to compare the different ones and determine which would work best for you. Even with these strategies, it's still a trial and error situation.
A bit late but if anyone's still strugling with it make sure you have Parfumer on your team. The Ifrit I borrowed was e2 lvl 20 and her health never dropped below 75%. The drone that spawns right next to her gets one shot off after which Ifrit kills it in 2 hits. Any damage taken from the drone will get healed over time because of Parfumer's passive global heal. Ifrit was full health when the next drone spawned.
I'm still at chapter 3 but thankfully I have Lappland,Ifrit,Hoshiguma and Siege for the future. thanks for all the guides bro
I had quite a bit of trouble with this stage.
My Myrrh kept dying early on, so I employed a Lancet to heal her. I also made it through without using Gavial or another healer in her place, just my E2 Ptilopsis to cover the right side as the aoe healer. Also, to take over for some of the missing heals, I used Gummy behind my primary defender; I'm not sure if that was entirely necessary though.
Overall this tutorial was a lifesaver, thank you so much Kyo and everyone who's commented below. Its all been really helpful.

Thank you so much for this guide! I messed up one time and let Faust critical hit Cuora once, but she somehow tanked that with her 2nd skill activated.

my god my hands were shaking after i finished this, haha. took me three practice runs and two sanity runs 'cause i kept losing count! ifrit and i share the same brain cell. x"D i brought a saria support that tanked like 5 normal hits and two mortar dudes too, lmfao. thanks so much for this guide, kyo! ifrit's an absolute GOD.
This was a fun one, you don't need too many DPS units in this stage so you can bring along projekt red too as a faust bait quite easily, also if you deploy Specter as 2nd last unit, she can become invincible with skill 2 to tank shots too incase you screw up with your timing. Good luck guys
I just cleared this with my own strat today and came to see what yours was, and wow, I am so glad I have Hoshiguma to tank those purple shots... this seems so stressful. Kudos to you!

Great guide! Love your Low End Squad videos. Also, for anyone that has Cuora E2 lvl30 (or maybe less than lvl30. Not sure cuz my cuora's lvl30), she can survive Faust's critical shot. So you don't really need to pay attention too much about Faust's shot count. But still, if you're unsure, just bring Gravel to the squad. Better safe than sorry lol

This was beyond nerve wrecking! I jaw hurts from doing the round. I decided not to take Shaw because mine is too weak. I took Eyjafjalla instead which basically save my life because at miscounted at some point and lost my ifrit. She was 42 do to redeploy which is insane 😱 anyway, thanks to you I managed to clear it in my first try but I just know it would have been impossible without your continued guidance !! Thank you so much for all your hard work 🤗

Thanks for your guide I finished this. But I didn't use Ifrit and 3rd healer. All I did was put Gummy and a DPS on the bottom Spot, Archer for more DPS instead of Shaw for push, and I borrowed a Meteorite to replace Suriyuki for armor buster AOE.
All my Operators are E1 LVL 60.
Your advice on using Gravel to tank the Crit Shot is what got me through this stage. Time the healing Skills and Gravel Deployment seem to be the key to this stage.

Took me a bit and almost won but faust was the only one that got through, but ofc that means I lost lol. So figured I should check out what you did, it's always fun to compare. Didn't even think about Ifrit. I always forget about ifrit, and Eya and SA since I don't have them lol

reporting back to say that i did it following your guide! my only change was to replace myrrh with silence so she was basically 2 healers in one + shining in place of gavial, and borrowed a friend's hoshiguma to help in case my frontline crumbled.
btw i have a question, if the only 'good' vanguard i have is siege, should i e2 courier or scavenger? or should i just wait for zima/texas to come to the shop?

I fucked up here once. The same thing happened in the video to me. However my defender was an E2 Hoshiguma. And at that moment her 25% evasion talent proced on the crit. Saved by RNGesus
I did it similar to your way, but no Shaw, used blaze at upper lane to do AOE with Meteorite's help. Had silence to cover Ifrit but need to spam drone to stay alive, doing that and counting shot got too tiering so bought another defender, so I can mess up counting once but still beat it.
I really don't like the fact that you have to count shots. There should be a visual indicator that the next attack will be empowered. I still managed to clear the map thanks to your video!

If you're using a friend ifrit (or another friend unit to cover something you don't have (or even just for daily friend usage)) using lancet/castle are reasonable options. I ended up using the free heals to make it easier for melantha to survive to deal with the mortars. Towards the end dumping the bait units in heal range of Myhrr can allow them to survive until the crit shot (although you need to use her double heal buff, otherwise she dies herself, and then ifrit, so it doesn't work if you replace her with someone else)
(try this run in practice mode with my own squad)
(do the entire run in 1x speed, pause every 5 seconds to make sure everything is according to plan)
3 stars, total success

Upon trying this crazy boi fiesta of a stage, i noticed something truly heart crushing :
Them art drones are able to shoot at Ifrit while standing in front of the entry in front of her. (Even with a medic deployed, they still only target Ifrit. Seemingly, Ifrit is barely in range, while the medic ain't.)
So this makes this strategy obsolete now, doesn't it? 'Cause my ifrit is getting zapped to death now, making it fail even with Nian taking a massive dump on Faust so called damage with her 4K HP. (Which is quite entertaining to see.)
Edit : Nvm, just snag a boio who can assassinate these mortar dudes (I took a chen for me) and then add lancet-2 to your team. Place her down under ifrit before placing the medic who tanks the balista shots, and you are good to go. Your medic might take one slap to the face from faust tho, be ready for that.
now it's time to level up perfumer and Myrhh for this stage since i left them doing base things
Just did this stage today, stage seems to have changed and drone's 2nd shot hits ifrit now. So if you have better medic, use him/her on right and just use gavial on the ifrit side face down/left/right so she can heal herself and ifrit. My gavial is e1 60 slvl4 on s1 and she kept herself and ifrit alive.
That technical faulty made me burst in laugh 😂🤣. Anyway, great job for the guide and the humour part
If you have an E2 hoshiguma, you don't need to count. Just need to focus on DPS for crowd control. What I worry more are the surprise mortar on bottom left and caster on top right.

Little odd to do with Ifrit now taking hits, used Lancet to heal her and dropped my aoe medic since I was using Saria on the right, however having Mudrocks' shield tank every shot from Faust and then nuking Faust with Surtr the second he became attackable surely made it a bit easier
Dint know the faust do critical at 7th shot, this is good info

But I finally pulled it through.
Oddly I wanted to use Ptilopsis as an AOE healer, because she is a stronger healer and will give SP to Meteorite and FEater. But when I try that. Myrrh Kept dying from the turret. Turns out I needed Perfumer's Heal over time Talent. Some how 10.5 health per second was Barely enough to keep Myrrh alive.
I dunno if it's been said (and this is an old video, I'm just now getting around to Ch. 6), but Gavial's defense is only that high for 17 seconds (at most) due to her passive, then it drops back to 151. Still the highest defense stat out of my medics, but it's food for thought. She lasts to the end of the video, so I guess it doesn't matter much.
Oof.. Another Ifrit requirement. I'll have to play around a bit and see if I can make it work without her.
Was able to do it replacing a few operators. Put Ptilopsis and Liskarm up alongside Eyja (3rd skill) and used her as a nuker instead of Ifrit. Placed Lappland and Frostleaf in behind the tanks to back them up and assist with drones. Was a bit messy towards the very end but I made it.
For the arts drone on this stage, I put Shining in the same position but changed her range to face right so she can heal Ifrit with skill 2, and they both survived.
Now i can count, thanks kyo-sama

If you have Silence and Cuora, Cuora can tank everything including Faust's critical. Just wait for the arrow then deploy the medical drone on Cuora and she'll be safe. Keep her Defense Shell for emergencies. This was done with Silence E2 and rank 7 drone/Cuora E2(lvl25)M3 shell.
this stage test your aggro skill and aoe dps, luckily we don't get Memphisto too here

This wil only be helpful for a handful of people but if you have a Hoshiguma you can really cheese this fight, i used my E2 lvl 40 with skill 2 lvl 7 and she doesnt die from Fausts critical shots, sadly she doesnt reflect the damage back to him but it does take some of the stress of the fight away

Perfumer is obligatory. Or your Ifrit will die. Perfumer's talent heal all deployed ops by 3 % of her attack. It's very important
This strategy is great, but if you are like me - lazy as hell - just e2 your best tank and let him eat this arrows forever. Also you can totally replace Ifrit and healer that covers her with only Ch'en (2d skill), placing her on Cuora's position and then (if you want to tank the boss) tank right under Midnight.
The damn drone coming out of the middle red box keep attacking my Ifrit even though I summoned the tanking medic later... Freaking pssed me off... had to replace Ifrit with blaze and add in silver ash in order to pass this stoopid mission

First guide I've seen mentioning the most important info of the map, Faust's critical attack timing. I've already beaten the stage, but knowing this inspired me to try out various meme strats I couldn't cuz Faust would just kill my chargers. Huge thanks for that.

I don’t have Ifrit but I used Skyfire and placed her just below where the group with the air unit spawns, facing right. And ofc placed a healer to cover the bolts. Worked fine!
I do have Silver Ash though so he pulled his weight for sure
