could be worse. atleast the H5-X stages have nothing to farm so using a support unit is fine.
Fortunately for me, I already have those 3, but I decided to use Blaze S3 instead of Ch'en. The problem was DP (due to expensive E2s) and Utage tanked a shot from Faust in S2 (LOL @ 50% health deploy but did not die) before I could use my Friend's Nian to tank Faust the rest of the way. I had decided to go with FEater, but she's a paper tiger compared with Shaw at level 50, and after she went down, had to rotate something to block the gates while Exu's S2 was charging. It made this more interesting for an otherwise routine map.

Thank you so much for this guide, I managed to adapt it to the operators I had. This is one of the easiest strategies to execute without having to count Faust's shots
My E1 lvl 40 Cardigan can't tank the crit shot from Faust so I use Gravel and redeployed the vanguards to tank the damage, it worked pretty well, thanks for the guide!
I finally got around to clearing these H stages! I put hoshiguma where cardigan is and don't even have to pay attention to her xD
You use hoshiguma for faust special atack bait?
Which skill she use
@@tomywijaya2442 S2 if you want to return some dmg to Faust (after his invisibility wears off ofc)
S3 if you expect leaks and need some emergency dps.

And instead chen,coura I use thorns and blaze 😂 for more dpm
My gawd, how did you managed that brawl and didn't let anyone pass through?! There is a lot of them right there...
If you don't have a tank able to survive you can use fast redeploy + vanguards and just alternate them in cardigans spot as they die.
Finally racoon girl can rest
Seems like only one AoE medic wasn't enough, so I end up replacing lancet n Cardigan with gummy n Gravel.
Followed kyostinv method of dealing with the crit shot n bomber using gravel n the 2 vanguards.
My sniper wasn't strong enough, so SA had to use his skill after the first vanguard deployed for the bomber end up dead.
thx for the guide :) I dont have second aoe healer (only Perfumer), so I used Gavial. she has high def and shes free:D
A level 50 hoshiguma worked for me in place of cardigan, so if ur like me and dont have cardigan at a high level, hoshi can tank Faus
Finally (!) clearing the challenge modes of chapter 4,5,etc. What a great game this is.
I have each unit except for ptilopsis and apple pie. i could probably get one of them from support but what would be some good replacements?
Gavial or Myrrh for Ptilopsis. Platinum/BP for Apple Pie.

I used Blaze instead of Ch'en and it worked out fine on the first attempt.
I think i can use bibeak in chen's position idk maybe it will work

Ok, Matoimaru S1 instead of Cardigan
Had to level up Breeze (just to lv60 E1S1 rank 7) since I don't have Ptilopsis. Used E2S2 Surtr in place of Ch'en, Ash E2S2 in place of -Exia- Apple Pie and everyone's favorite soft spoken Oni girl Hoshiguma in place of Curoa. Despite the DP requirements making it a little tighter, it worked out in the end. 2021 yall!
Didn't have Chen so I used Vigna instead xdd But E2 max level and it worked
I have no exusiai
Use Greythroat, Blue Poison, etc.
Replaced Chen with E2 Specter, didn't even need to activate her skills. I used E2 Exusiai soo everything was good with E2 lv 70 Silverash. Had to replace Cardigan with Saria S1 just to be safe. Ptilopsis was replaced by E1 Myrrh Max lv S1. It was smooth sailing. Saria S1 kept Shaw and herself alive during emergencies.
Is there a replace for chen? I don't have her, and I use SA from support unit
Any Guard with 2 block will be fine.

Replaced Cardigan with tough oni Hoshiguma and activated my AOE medic skills alternatingly every after Faust's 6th attack , Chen with Blaze, and since I didn't have Exu, I used Greythroat instead. Was too scared since my Shaw is stuck at E1 Lv1 but she pulled through! Didn't even need to add another defender to block for Silverash. Thank you so much, Eckogen! 💕
Well played. For support your 3 star all star , you should build 4 star guard Dobermann. Dobermann elite 2 is amazing give it a try.

Thank you! Had to modify a bit, but finally got through this stage.
Had to exchange OPs. Greythroat s2 > Exusiai; Liskarm > Cuora; Lappland E2 > Ch'en; And Saria s1 > Cardigan, since I don't have Cardigan :(. Saria only survived after I got her to E2 lvl 30.
is it possbile to replace Chen with Buckbeak? I don't have both Exusiai and Chen so I can only borrow one of them.
I just carelessy put Nearl e2 lv20 as Faust damage taker, and he casually 1hit her with critical shot like nothing Q_Q thankfully I have Hoshiguma and Friend's Saria. Even Hoshiguma with 3063hp 629def barely survived his critical hit
Faust hurts, but glad you found a way.

Thank you for the guide, this one is lot easier to follow than another guide where I had deploy gavel at every 5 counts of Faust sniper
Any operator replacement suggestions? I don’t have Silverash nor Ch’en and I can only use one support unit...

Oh, I already cleared it myself using a Schwarz support unit and the help of my Saria, Blue Poison, and Lappland with Hoshi to tank Faust’s shots... Either way, thank you for this and all of your other helpful guides though! I never would’ve thought about using Shaw to take care of the bottom... Love the quality of your videos! Keep it up!

Strange. my cardigan immediately died after take Faust special attack. She got same level and skill level as you.Can you explain why?
Mine had around 100% trust. It gives HP.

Greythroat would be closer to Exu. As for Chen, any Guard should work for the most part.

Honestly this is much better than the other guides out there, especially those who use Ifrit (most of my friends don't have her).
faust purple arrow one shot my e1 lv80 saria lol, then i keep rotate between two vanguard and beagle, until saria deploy, then one shot again and repeat, finally left faust and lucky my friend sa skill 3 done recharge and activate, mission complete.

Your tank needs 3K hp/def combined or higher to survive Faust. He's annoying.
@@Eckogen Thx for the strat man, me tried a variant with Warfarin, Saria Nearl and Hoshi, Hoshi at E2 lvl 30 tank the shot like a champ.
I just used lv 55 croissant to tank for me. The timing of her s1 is mostly on point for extra tankyness but it's not needed for her to tank the critical hit. It also helped that my ptilopsis and perfumer are e2.

not seeing the usual ORS here... has anyone tried replacing apple pie or ptilopsis with anything?
Don't have either of those, but may be able to level up Breeze and Blue Poison, so wondering if those would work.
ORS was introduced in CC. Greythroat would be closest to Exusiai. Breeze or Perfumer should be okay.
@@Eckogen Thanks, that seemed to work. Managed to further this time, only to have Silver Ash die around when I activated TSS at 84. Going to need to either power level healers to get him past it, or Chen to help with the DPS.
Dont have Silverash even Exu
Killer guide brother, I did a few modifications that worked out for me using your guide as a great template! I did so by using a friends E2 Lappland in place for your Ch'en because I already have an E2 Silver Ash, and instead of Lancet I used an E1 Saria to keep the units gathered around her alive. I also subbed Cardigan for Matterhorn and he was able to tank the hits :) Thanks for the upload man, you deserve way more credit for your content!

Doesn't have to be Chen. Can use any Guard in place, provided you can keep up with clearing mobs.
I may look stupid but in all of my Arknights experience I never found Cardigan. Was she in a limited time event?

SA, you will need, but not Chen.
@@Eckogen thx bro, but i dont have SA so i replace SA = Eyjafalla (Volcano) and Ch'en = Siege (2nd skill) and then "Mission Acomplish"

Any 2 block Guard should work. Chen wasn't too important. It was mostly Cardigan and SA.
