Great video, Might do this to my bike I don’t wanna be pedaling like I’m in a hamster wheel lol, at 3:44 the 2 free wheels look awfully similar and the link showed multiple ones, do you know the tooth count of the old one vs the new one ?

Glad you like it. Check your freewheel, it should have lettering in-between the teeth. Most of them are Shimano MF-TZ500-7. The difference is, the stock has a 14 tooth as the smallest one, this has 11. It is only 3 teeth, but it makes a world of difference. Both of the freewheels at the link will work, I put on the 11/28. If you go with the 11/34 it will give you really low gearing in 1st gear, but it is so much difference you will have to adjust your derailer in order to get it to go up to that big sprocket. I do not need the lower end stuff [I only use the top 3 anyway] so I always go with the 11/28. I tried the 11/34, and adjusting the derailer was a pain so I took it off. Hope that helps😀

Great job! Maybe should do that on my Power Goat. I put a larger chain ring on the front already.

It makes a world of difference. Do you know the number on the freewheel you currently have? Most of them come with the same one. Shimano MF-TZ500-7

Not sure I'll have to look, but I suspect it is.@@papablueshirt

I watched a great review on that bike from some kid that reviews tons of them. He was doing a lot of sand stuff too. I'm impressed! The company should send you a box of steaks! LOL.

when we were kids, we'd go to my Uncles' place for Thanksgiving, way days past. He had this electric stationary exercise bike in bottom floor. Anyway, we as kids would sit on it and run it, and we'd laugh, what exercise is that the motor does the work. The handle bars would go up and down, maybe you know the one. Anyway, I'm sure I'm missing the point of your whole channel premise.

That is funny. I know the one. Makes me hurt thinking about it. Probably electric because you only burn 20% less when assisted. That is why ebikes work for weight loss.
I need to slow down the cadence because of my back and hip issues. There are days I can not walk more than 100 ft, but most of the time I can still ride a bike : )

Getting down into mid 30s to 40 for next 7-10 days, so no riding.
Ya, my Wallke in PAS 2 starts to ghost pedal at 18-19 mph in 7th (top) gear, so may give this a try since I have two back-up bikes.
The bike makers would get a good deal if they order the 11-28(34) in bulk too. Might be a couple bucks different that shouldn't cost them anything to do.

Yeah, it is nice to have a back up bike for projects like this. But, if you can take off the rear wheel, you can do this.
I wish they would buy them in bulk, I am not sure Shimano makes them as a freewheel. I have found a lot of cassettes with the 11 tooth, but no freewheels. I always have to go with aftermarket stuff.
