      No, this short was early in the day. Here is the complete video here ruclips.net/video/Ut9IdJ8U9YQ/видео.html I believe the total was 80 miles. With a third battery it was 122 or something like that. The bike has almost 19k miles on it now, so it has been a blast. Expecting a new bike soon and will start a new journey. thanks for watching

    How do the Allscapes/Ultraverse tires grip in the snow PapaBlueShirt? I own an H8 myself with a set of Ultraverse tires but I live in Florida so no snow, but they're great in the rain.

    • @papablueshirt

      They seem to do real well. At least as good as the standard tires, maybe better. Ice, is a different story. It can go south fast regardless of the tires. Snow is gone now, so hopefully we are done for the year : )

    i got the philodo h8 upgraded (3000w) one and i noticed the experience was not as good on my first ride as the pH8 with 2000w. I have noticed on the upgraded ph8 the controller bag is not there but there is a red button to press between dual and single. the throttle on the upgraded ph8 is slow and does not have the tracking take off as the one that not upgraded. I also noticed when i press the brakes the front tire jerks to the right (not safe) I will look and make sure i have the tires centered and tight and test again. The new upgraded one also sounds like something is rubbing the fender in the rear but i check and its not ill do another test soon

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt 9 дней назад

      Yeah, the original H8 is hard to beat. I will soon have 15k miles on mine. That being said, I put over 18k miles on my Jumbo and I really, like the button to turn off and on the AWD. This last month I have been riding my H8 and I really miss the button. So hopefully you will get your issues worked out. As far as take off, you should be able to change that in the settings. The front tire jerking could be oil on the disc brake, it should wear off. My rear fender I had to bend into position, You can also double check to make sure it is mounted correctly as someone told me they had something switched which caused a rubbing, but it was fixed when they changed it. Congrats on your new bike, hopefully you will get the issues worked out. I have put over 33k miles on my two Philodo's, so they have been very dependable.

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt 15 дней назад

      Yea, they all do that. It is kind of like, if you continue at the same pace this is what you have left. If you turn the pas down a number or two, it should go up as you do not use as much on the lower settings. I just look at it as an estimate, after riding daily, you start getting used to the range. Many times I have went down to 1 or 2 as I did not think I would make it. Do that a few times and you will certainly error on the other side LOL I start to worry when it shows close to 1/2, These 100 pound bikes are a bear to ride without power. : )

    To change out the lock cylinder, you have to remove all of the screws holding the bottom plate on, then as you CAREFULLY open it up, take note of how the wires and connectors are positioned inside. Remove the screws holding the lock cylinder, and wiggle it out, then wiggle the new one in. Cram all the wires back into original position as you close the case back up. This is the hardest part of the job, but once done... you're in like Flynn!

    I opened my hub after 240km. Because i saw all these vids and people talking about the need for this plus it became autumn and winter and have it stored indoors anyway. Its an easy thing to do luckily. Btw all the grease that was in there ,was not on any teeth.Only on the round plate under the gears (flywheel?) I just hope it will last like yours.

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt 23 дня назад

      Yeah, pretty easy to do. I just don't like to open up if I don't have to. I opened up my H8 I think it was after about 13k miles, and it was as you describe. Grease everywhere, except on the teeth. I think the grease works it way off the teeth pretty fast. Being nylon teeth, I don't really think it is needed. Thanks for the comment : )

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt 24 дня назад

      I have over17k miles now, so the batteries are getting tired. But when it is warm I can get 50-60 miles with the two batteries. I run 3 batteries and can ride about 90 miles. Now that it is cold, I do not get anywhere near that. I alright with it though as it is cold riding at 15 degrees : )

    What speed are you riding at/avg? What's the weight of your bike. I believe they would both have a lot to do with it. Speed and heat production associated with higher speeds...I had to ride it pretty far once with a low tire due to a nail. (>10psi) I definitely had to grease mine at 1100 miles but I only knew that because my speed/battery life was decreasing so i did some research. The sound difference was obvious after regreasing but not if concern prior. Upon inspection, the grease had became tacky. Proactive maintenance is always a good choice. If your not comfortable doing it, maybe wait till it breaks.

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt 25 дней назад

      I probably average about 30 mph, The bike has 3 batteries and is set up so I can run 5 if wanted. With the 3 batteries, it is probably 120 pounds or more. I also have flatout in the tires which puts quite a bit of strain on the motors. So far it has been working great. The flatout did kill my top speed and distance more than my thick tires. I had a flat once and that is not fun with this heavy bike. So I put flatout in it. I rode over 4k miles with a hole in the tire, so the flatout gives me peace of mind. : ) Sounds like the factory may have put some weird grease in yours as you should never have to grease that soon. Grin technologies said he is not convinced you even need grease with the nylon gears, I tend to agree. I think sometimes people mistake the bearing being dry for the need to lubricate the hub gears. The gears are nylon and should make no noise [or very little] even without grease. The bearing on the other hand would need to be greased if it was dry. I greased my H8 at about 13k miles if I remember right. I had a weird noise at like 10k miles, but it went away. I opened it up at 13k and saw one of the gears had a few teeth missing. So I changed it and added a little grease while I was at it. I will soon pass 15k with it and it seems to be doing fine. I am kind of on the crazy side, I was riding over 4k miles a month in the summer. The thought of pulling the rear tire every week did not appeal to me LOL. I wanted to at least wait until I changed the tires. Turns out the tires I buy last forever. I finally changed the rear at 14k miles. Everything was sounding good, so I just left it alone and will see how far I can go. Maybe when I change the next tire, or maybe I will just buy a new bike ; ) Thank you so much for your input

      You might try aliexpress. It may take a while to arrive, but you might find a pretty good deal. Let me know if you find one : )

      Looks like we were spared. We were right on the edge, so all we got was a lot of rain, then a dusting of snow. 20 miles away they lost power and it was a mess, we are closer to TN, so most of it missed us. Did not hurt my feelings any : )

      Yes they were still hanging on, our last storm wiped out a lot of them. So my next video most of them will be gone : )

    hey i bought the Outredgeous seeds and i have a question about my dimmer on my grow light and the light is a Mars Hydro TS 1000.. so if you know about this light what dimmer % should i have it on? i heard very low but i wanted to specifically know if 25% or its lowest setting. thx, hope to hear back.

      I am not familiar with the light, that being said I think heat is the most important consideration with lettuce. As long as it does not get too hot, you can experiment with the dimming and also the length of time they are on. With this variety, you will know when you get it right as it will be deep red. I hope you have great success.
