I've realized I say "Good Job, Robin." More and more these days as I watch the hilariously awesome editing on these videos. Edit: I started reading the comments and I am so surprised by the amount of people who dont like the editing? Robin has done nothing but gotten better and better with each upload. (In my eyes) I feel like he adds a nice bit of his humor to the videos. Oftentimes its his edits that make me literally laugh out loud. Oh well, to each their own, I suppose.
Nayday People are complaining about the video being too rushed or too short. Not Robin's sense of humour/editing style. With games like these Jack tends to do 30-60 minutes per episode, so it's understandable that people made those complaints. (And yes, I'm aware the reasoning behind this may be because Jack doesn't want to drag this series out for those that don't enjoy this game.)
Robin's editing is fine. The issue is not with Robin's work, but with the fact that jumpcuts are far too common for a playthrough like this. If you go back and watch a video from the Crash 3 series, you'll understand what the comments are talking about. Not only is half of each level axed, but the video puts Sean in a dry humor situation very frequently. Having watched his videos for over four years, I just don't think this type of video suits him, nor this type of game.

I've seen them bad mouthing Robin when he's doing the best he can with such a hard gamepmay to edit and keep interesting. I came to watch the game be played not constant jump cuts to the next joke to keep the video funny for the sake of it.

i actually grew up most with this game and while i was never good at finishing the game, its always a huge comforting nostalgia to hear this games music. by the way, his name is Neo Cortex. hes got his first inital on his head.
This is a platformer. It really doesn't need all the gameplay as you're not really missing anything by not having crash jump on a box for the 200th time. :P
If you want the blue gem, you need to finish Turtle Wood taking NONE of the boxes. In one point of the stage, just jump in the many-fruit boxes ( the one who don't break with one jump). After that, is piece of cake to get to the end of stage without taking any boxes. And some of Bonus stages and secondary paths are in the FLOOR. You have to look for hexagons on the ground and belly-flop then. Sorry, Bad English. Thumbs Up for Jack see this o/
I think a lot of confusion from this video and why it felt "off" isn't because it's more memey, or scripted. For me, it's the editing. Nothing against Robin, he is a fantastic editor. But here, it felt like his editing took over the video and drowned out Jack. It was so heavily cut it became distracting, and some of the jokes went too far: like Crash being portaled into space or the Turtle with sauce on its back. It works more for compilation, best moment videos when it's deja vu material given new life. But here, you want the focus on Jack he's your main actor. And the editing took away that focus; that's why I feel like it's overly edited.
Classy Reviews i've seen video's of youtubers being edited double as much. Instead of complaining. Just either watch it. Or don't This is jacks channel. And jack decides what to upload. If you don't like it. Then thats your problem
What an absolutely close-minded viewpoint you have there. This idea of "watch it or don't, that's your problem." is pathetic and I hope you drop out of it as soon as possible. Just kissing his feet and saying everything he does is magic is infinitely more destructive than helpful, as it sets this idea that he can do anything and it would work when maybe it wouldn't be. This, for me and many people didn't work, so I'm voicing my opinion. He can take it or not, that is his perogative, but telling me my voice and opinion is worthless and my issue is revolting.
