Judging from the title. this is probably gonna be VERY similar to the Rosenberg interview he did. I don't care though, I'll watch it. Sam's a great interviewer, and I could listen to Bully talk for hours
Second best. He's the best villain as far as ACTUAL wrestlers are concerned, I agree. But to me PAUL HEYMAN is the best villain in the business....PERIOD
as a wrestler Bully or Punk but with Punk gone, Bully is the best heel Wrestler which now maybe is a baby face after Lockdown but your right about Paul Heyman, he is killer, & probably where Dreamer , Bully, etc got the mind for the business so I agree for a manager but not a wrestler bc heyman never was a wrestler now !!
Paul Heyman guys ARE the best villains. If Paul ever becomes the creative side of TNA, TNA will rule the professional wrestling scene & the storylines will improve drastically.
Also, the chemistry between the interviewer & Bully Ray was pretty good, they played well off each other back and forth, nothing amature or cheesy about what was said, if you haven't watched it and are thinking about it, just watch it! it's worth it.
What an excellent interview. I've always respected those, like Bully Ray, that have lasted in such a tough business for such a long time. To endure the changes and the fickle nature of fans and 'bosses' is an amazing thing. However, until today, I'd never really heard the guy give a proper interview like this, and my respect for him has soared even higher. What a great ambassador for the business, and I'd put money on him being involved creatively when he hangs up his boots. WWE should hire him!
Bully Ray really gave a great interview here without slandering any other wrestling promotion or in this case the biggest one, which we all know as WWE! He also didn't give out RVD's business or why he's featured on the TNA wesite meanwhile WWE is showing promos of RVD at the same time! He basically said that was robs business and he hopes he can be the RVD that he wants to be vs. what the machine tells him to be! there's more freedom in TNA than WWE in creative control. Good interview overall!
Sammy puts a real human face on pro wrestling. It always makes for great talk. Bully Ray has always been a favorite, no matter what incarnation, and these two interviews have just made him more so.
When Bully Ray did his retirement speech and turned on Devon , people were bitching and moaning saying that he will never make it. Look at him now , he is a world champion and people still don't give him the credit he deserves.
He's sticking up for his company dude. I Prefer WWE much more over TNA, but i respect Bully Ray immensely for trying to convince people to come and taste and sample their product as well. Plus, he is always a hell of an interview.
forgot wyatt, i wasn't trying to be rude with my comment, but the guy has talent and for the most part at least, is a breath of fresh air, i just think people should look at what he has done and can do before passing him off, good concept imo.
A big reason why many wrestlers in WWE don´t do new moves is because WWE have banned a lot of them because they are afraid of concussions. Lately there have been quite a few concussions in WWE so they are just taking care of their wrestlers. But just look at Cena. He have taken some new moves in like the hurricanrana and a powerbomb. And MITB yesterday was way better than anything I have seen from TNA in the last couple of years.
Bryan vs Orton was all great matches and unlike many other wrestlers they try to do some new moves each time. I think their storyline was decent. It was about Bryan being the weak link and then he had to prove that he wasn´t. The storyline really got some momentum after Triple H got involved and stopped a match without Bryan´s permission which result in a legit verbal backstage fight between the two. I loved it.
Ambrose, Adam Cole, Bray Wyatt, Kevin Steen,. Those are all the guys off the top of my head but you are right for the most part.Another guy who is decent is Brad Maddox he could be a good midcard heel but WWE has him a Vickie Guerreros lackie
I didn´t say who won so it is not a spoiler. It just said that it was great matches. And if you don´t want the PPV to be spoiled I find it very strange that you are on a site full of results for MITB.
I don't really agree because they never do anything with submissions. heres the submission possible outcomes. They reach the rope,They tap out,it gets interupted,(usually by the axe handle move which I think is the most halarious move their is) Put it this way as the X-division. Everyone in X-division has Justin Gabriel,Rey,Sin Cara type wrestling skills. Like Suicide,Suicide is fucking amazing.Kenny King,Chris Sabin, RVD was x-division champ before he left for WWE.Etc
man I know I am oldish being on the middle fo 30's but I would love to visit Bully Ray's schools to see what he will show me. Not a critic mind you just would be an awesome experience
The WHC MITB was a 5 star match and the all-star MITB had some pretty decent moments. Ziggler vs Dek Rui was awesime. Cena vs Henry is what you expected.
i just gotta say to his 'not many ppl' comment,...edge, christian, jeff hardy, hbk, bret hart, sting, ultimate warrior, scott steiner, kevin nash, booker t, jbl,...sry dude but theres quite a few names that are former tag teamers that became world heavy weight champ
this pretty much why imo wwe is a solid product, they always have a new reason to care, ive never ordered more ppv than i have lately, and its mostly because wwe has been on top of its game. and since you know about mitb based on another comment ill just say punk/lesnar/heyman got a lot more interesting.
He said not many guys have come out of a tag team to do what he has be a singled wrestler and become world champion?? That's ridiculous Shawn Michaels, Scott Steiner, Booker T, Jeff Hardy no telling how many others I can't think of at the moment but damn really... lol
Yeah but James storm actually throws in new moves here and there. Unlike other companys. Added onto i'm mainly speaking about X-division. Where every wrestler has the in ring ability as Rey Mysterio and Justin Gabriel.(RVD was X division champion).
the storytelling of the divas match was executed to perfection, ie injured kaitlyn the other night was getting the elbow worked was too aggressive to realize she should use that arm to spear did it anyways and was unable to break the black widow. aj has excellent talent if you've watched her indies footage wwe is slowly letting her showcase cant be 5 moves of death if the stf is not technically one of those(ie its never listed int hat same breath :P
name a few current wrestlers who can hold a candle to these guys when it comes to an all-around package of ring skills, mic skills and storytelling combined. yeah i'll give you punk and bryan for sure. but there aint two many guys of this generation
hate to be the other guy but the pin isnt part of the move, it is applied when necessary but not a staple of the hurricanrana. what cena did, was a standing hurricanrana with mediocre execution at best. it was completely legs, and lower half. theres a lot more involved in the terminology of the move(bs really) but for the sake of this conversation it was executed to the extent of what it needed to be stated as what i called it as
vince did he changed the rating because of the cena movie, marine, vince wanted to change his persona because he was the hero of that movie and kids looked up to him as a hero so vince told him to be a hero in the ring as well and it turned into the rating going PG.
I watch WWE for: Punk, Bryan, Jericho, Ziggler, AMbrose, Rollins, Reigns, Henry, Heyman, AJ Lee, Kane, Undertaker(when he shows up) I watch TNA for : Sting, Angle, Aries, Mickie James, Roode, Storm, Daniels, ODB, Jeff Hardy. Both shows are good. But both shows can improve ALOT. It's not like WWF/WCW was before, both shows were great, these days I skip through alot of both shows both shows have bad moments lol and some good ones though.
you can tell bully ray has the most respect for the business. with him in one company he still would not trash talk about the other or even some smaller ones. he would only talk about the differences between TNA and WWE. never 1 bad thing was said. one resaon he will have a some time before retiring. that mush respect and one of the great entertainers any company would be proud to have.
I can agree that they really overkilled with the whole Aces and Eights thing and I could care less about seeing Hogan. But thats all I recall actually being boring. The whole Aries in the suicide costume winning the championship and losing to Sabin. That was awesome.
current gen best wrestlers in wwe, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Antonio Cesaro, Damien Sandow, Wade Barrett(reaching a bit),Bray Wyatt/family(watch nxt or shut up) Cody Rhodes. all around including previously mentioned, Mark Henry, John Cena(if you dispute it then you really are just a fanboy), Alberto Del Rio, Kane, Christian, honorable mentions (due in part to part time or lack of something or other) The Undertaker, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Jack Swagger. Just Gabriel needs a push :'(
I would say your right about submissions if they use it right. Like in real wrestling once you got a submission it's immediate 1-3 seconds to tap out and they could use this as putting a lot of good counters to before someone gets the submission I mean how Rey is and Sin cara are on their best days. Like Rey use to be my favorite wrestler till I seen Suicide.Even though it's multiple people if you get to wrestle in the suicide outfit then your good enough.
Bully mainly never did singles. He was part of 3d for 1. 2 he never retired he currently wrestles for TNA. 3 He's in TNA therefore part of WWE Hall of Fame is a no-no for the time being.
I can like the matches but it don´t get me excited to watch a match where I don´t care who wins because of the storyline. WWE have two storylines currently I enjoy. Orton - Bryan. Cena - Henry. I probably also gonna enjoy the Punk - Lesnar storyline more then Lesnar returns. What WWE is doing right currently is that they make me excited. Last month it was Punk´s return. Then the Punk - Lesnar/Heyman feud. The Wyatt Family debut. And tonight RVD returns. TNA can´t make me mark out like that.
I whould call them equal, all of the ones he mentioned are just as good as the one you mentioned. Imho Orton does not have the mic skills as the others mentioned.
ive not paid much atention to x division since back when they had jeff hardy vs abyss i think in i want to say 04 or 05. i know that match isnt x division, but i watched tna more back then and honest i dont remember much other than the ring and the unique title match they did.i feel the crazy moves take to much work to pull of to be realistic sometimes. submissions are a staple of wrestling, if done appropriately they can be the most exciting part of a match, so different principles i suppose
Depends on what traits you compare between them really. Acrobatics by far go to AJ Styles and friends. Punk clearly has better promos (he did get his start in TNA btw) and differences go on but to say there outright better, no. And that goes vice versa.
Somebody needs tell Bully Ray it's entertainment, if we are not entertained we have every right to say so. I'm sure most of the guys in TNA are great at what they do in the ring, but it has nothing to do with the crap storytelling and the fact new guys can't get over because the older wrestlers will not get out of the way.
after money in the bank idk, rvd doesnt look like he aged much at all honestly. pulled out al the usual. only messed up the frog splash, but i think that was due to the ladder and not getting the right balance.
i mainly say hat because submission is staple of wrestling, you take it away then you start o lose focus of what wrestling is. and i think it while it may be boring to some, its largely a part of what makes wrestling intense, when will he, will he? axe handle is just old school and does work if you apply pressure, its all about application. no offense rey aint himself anymore though, and sin cara well...i know they are beter than that, but i prefere guys like psicosis etc
I was talking more about the all around product. It is not the matches I can´t get into. It´s the storylines and then they suck it is harder to like the matches.
It's weird to hear them talk like bringing in non-wrestlers is a new thing when so many of the guys who came into the business in the 80s -- men like Ultimate Warrior -- were just bodybuilders, football players, etc, without any background either.
Damn Bully Ray's arms are jacked. I guess carrying Hogan's luggage is one hell of a workout. And why the hell is Bully so high up on Aces and 8s being a biker gang? Yet to see them on choppers.
Heyman doesn't have that much creative control, only over himself but that's about it, and from previous interviews he stated that right now he is on good terms with the McMahons but there is still rockiness there where things can go south quickly, but for now they don't have a problem with him being on the show, he is there because Lesnar wanted him there, then Punk wanted him at ringside so it's not like he is technically WORKING there but he is THERE aha
Same lol I enjoy 2 storylines from WWE. Lesnar and punk and Cena (garbage) and henry that they have been postponing over and over and over. Wyatt family debut was good and as for RVD. Prepare to be dissapointed. I've seen his X-division matches and he is not as flexible and athletic as he use to be. He still is good but not great. But it's the same for TNA for because there is 2 storylines I care about. The X-division matches and Knockouts (I guess kind of the mafia to but not as much). Abyss to
Stupid comment. People dont give enough credit to WWE because they've gotten so big. People love to hate on everyone who isn't the underdog. Saying the only reason they watch WWE is because of Punk are the same as the kids who say the only reason they watch WWE is because of Cena. Close minded kids who think they know everything. WWE is at least trying to make more topstars, and it's working. Bryan, Shield, DZ, Barret, Axel, rvd and the list goes on. & not to mention heyman with creative control
You're right! Wrestlers NEVER use steroids. It's all about soybeans man! Gotta get that soy to be strong, ripped, and have big muscles. Get your sustanon . . . I mean winstrol . . . I mean soybeans. SOY BEANS FOREVER!!! Sorry I had a little soy rage there.
which is why kurt angle wants to come back, sting has talked about coming to wwe repeatedly and samoa joe is good friends with cm punk. most people understand what tna is nnow,. sadly it was once a decent product, that isnt the case, the sooner the talent that actually is there smartens up and abandons ship the better.
I watched Cena the entire time. I seen 5 moves, some rapid punches and some shoulder tackles that didn't work. Same old shit. No the match sucked. A match isn't exciting if there is just punches kicks and 5 moves of death. Thats what made the ladder matches good. Fast paced,A lot of new, cool moves, great athleticism. etc. The Diva's match usually sucks the only thing good about that is the storyline is halfway decent. At this point i'm just waiting for Thursdays Destination X for TNA.
so bully is a nice guy. I would so take him up on his offer to come to his school to learn and wrestle with him. an yes I would get my butt kicked lol. good interview
With all his pot talk and his slight dislike of Vince I don't see it lasting awhile. I got to be honest most WWE matches bore the shit out of me because it's never anything new with the wrestling moves. Theres occasional good matches if there fast paced or with new/cool moves but thats really it. The storyline is the only thing that really matters to me and some are good wrestler who do new/cool moves generally often but there is not many. Which is why i'm not into the Bryan/Orton rivalry.
Bully ray looks great these days. I'm glad he decided ti improve his physique, i have alot more respect for him now
Steroids, bro.
Joshua Sankey Yeah his arms look gross
Bubba's Shirt: BUBBA I DON'T FIT YOU.
Judging from the title. this is probably gonna be VERY similar to the Rosenberg interview he did. I don't care though, I'll watch it. Sam's a great interviewer, and I could listen to Bully talk for hours
Bully Ray sounds so much like Paul Heyman.
The way he says "you know" makes him sound like Scott Steiner.
Matthew Caligari Both from New York.
bully is the best villain in the business !
Second best. He's the best villain as far as ACTUAL wrestlers are concerned, I agree. But to me PAUL HEYMAN is the best villain in the business....PERIOD

MrMyster1ous So Curtis Axel was a good villain when he couldn't cut a promo if his life depended on it? LMAO
Also, the chemistry between the interviewer & Bully Ray was pretty good, they played well off each other back and forth, nothing amature or cheesy about what was said, if you haven't watched it and are thinking about it, just watch it! it's worth it.

Absolutely a bigger fan of Bubba/Bully now. He is so well spoken, knows his history, and is a great entertainer and wrestler!
He's sticking up for his company dude. I Prefer WWE much more over TNA, but i respect Bully Ray immensely for trying to convince people to come and taste and sample their product as well. Plus, he is always a hell of an interview.

this may be weird comment, but I really want to know how Sam's Able to interview all these Superstars ?? I mean how's that possible ?
I didn´t say who won so it is not a spoiler.
It just said that it was great matches.
And if you don´t want the PPV to be spoiled I find it
very strange that you are on a site full of results for MITB.
pretty good interview. Bully ray is a great talent that does not get as much respect as he should.
Great Interview
And this is why I like bully and respect him. He's straight up and a cool guy to talk to.
I don't really agree because they never do anything with submissions.
heres the submission possible outcomes.
They reach the rope,They tap out,it gets interupted,(usually by the axe handle move which I think is the most halarious move their is)

AJ, Joe, Kaz, Daniels, Storm, Roode and Aries are the greatest all-around pro wrestlers of our time.
Bully is stating facts right here.
bully ray the best! xD
The WHC MITB was a 5 star match and the all-star MITB had some
pretty decent moments.
Ziggler vs Dek Rui was awesime.
Cena vs Henry is what you expected.
thank you for stating the obvious what does that have to do with pin not being part of the actual move?
i just gotta say to his 'not many ppl' comment,...edge, christian, jeff hardy, hbk, bret hart, sting, ultimate warrior, scott steiner, kevin nash, booker t, jbl,...sry dude but theres quite a few names that are former tag teamers that became world heavy weight champ

Bully Ray no longer looks like someone you could run away from a fight with. He's in way better shape than when he was in WWE. Scary big.
Sam should do more TNA interviews!
He said not many guys have come out of a tag team to do what he has be a singled wrestler and become world champion?? That's ridiculous Shawn Michaels, Scott Steiner, Booker T, Jeff Hardy no telling how many others I can't think of at the moment but damn really... lol
But look at their team mates 🤷♂️
Yeah but James storm actually throws in new moves here and there. Unlike other companys. Added onto i'm mainly speaking about X-division. Where every wrestler has the in ring ability as Rey Mysterio and Justin Gabriel.(RVD was X division champion).
the reason he has longevity is because edge, christian, matt, and jeff were the ones flying off ladders and through tables..not d-von or ray
the storytelling of the divas match was executed to perfection, ie injured kaitlyn the other night was getting the elbow worked was too aggressive to realize she should use that arm to spear did it anyways and was unable to break the black widow. aj has excellent talent if you've watched her indies footage wwe is slowly letting her showcase
cant be 5 moves of death if the stf is not technically one of those(ie its never listed int hat same breath :P
Same with TNA.
James Storm.. Backstabber, Codebreaker (Can´t remember the real name?) and Superkick.
name a few current wrestlers who can hold a candle to these guys when it comes to an all-around package of ring skills, mic skills and storytelling combined.
yeah i'll give you punk and bryan for sure. but there aint two many guys of this generation
hate to be the other guy but the pin isnt part of the move, it is applied when necessary but not a staple of the hurricanrana. what cena did, was a standing hurricanrana with mediocre execution at best. it was completely legs, and lower half. theres a lot more involved in the terminology of the move(bs really) but for the sake of this conversation it was executed to the extent of what it needed to be stated as what i called it as
vince did he changed the rating because of the cena movie, marine, vince wanted to change his persona because he was the hero of that movie and kids looked up to him as a hero so vince told him to be a hero in the ring as well and it turned into the rating going PG.
Hate to be that guy but, the move Cena does is a Frankensteiner. The "Rana" is the pinning move that people like Mysterio do.
I watch WWE for:
Punk, Bryan, Jericho, Ziggler, AMbrose, Rollins, Reigns, Henry, Heyman, AJ Lee, Kane, Undertaker(when he shows up)
I watch TNA for :
Sting, Angle, Aries, Mickie James, Roode, Storm, Daniels, ODB, Jeff Hardy.
Both shows are good. But both shows can improve ALOT.
It's not like WWF/WCW was before, both shows were great, these days I skip through alot of both shows both shows have bad moments lol and some good ones though.
Yes he did say "not ALOT OF PEOPLE"
He didn't say "NO ONE BUT ME"
There is a difference.
you can tell bully ray has the most respect for the business. with him in one company he still would not trash talk about the other or even some smaller ones. he would only talk about the differences between TNA and WWE. never 1 bad thing was said. one resaon he will have a some time before retiring. that mush respect and one of the great entertainers any company would be proud to have.
I can agree that they really overkilled with the whole Aces and Eights thing and I could care less about seeing Hogan. But thats all I recall actually being boring. The whole Aries in the suicide costume winning the championship and losing to Sabin. That was awesome.
not sure about Randy but Cesaro, Ambrose and Rollins should be on that list.
current gen best wrestlers in wwe, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Antonio Cesaro, Damien Sandow, Wade Barrett(reaching a bit),Bray Wyatt/family(watch nxt or shut up) Cody Rhodes.
all around including previously mentioned, Mark Henry, John Cena(if you dispute it then you really are just a fanboy), Alberto Del Rio, Kane, Christian,
honorable mentions (due in part to part time or lack of something or other) The Undertaker, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Jack Swagger.
Just Gabriel needs a push :'(
And bully was spot on about the key board tough guys that put down any wrestling company or talent.
I would say your right about submissions if they use it right. Like in real wrestling once you got a submission it's immediate 1-3 seconds to tap out and they could use this as putting a lot of good counters to before someone gets the submission
I mean how Rey is and Sin cara are on their best days. Like Rey use to be my favorite wrestler till I seen Suicide.Even though it's multiple people if you get to wrestle in the suicide outfit then your good enough.
Bubba is the world champ for TNA. Devon is in his stable.
The older Bubba gets the better he looks. I really wish he got a singles run in WWE. He is a great heel.
Bully mainly never did singles. He was part of 3d for 1.
2 he never retired he currently wrestles for TNA.
3 He's in TNA therefore part of WWE Hall of Fame is a no-no for the time being.
I respect bully because hes not like every other former WWE superstar and bashes WWE, he respects wrestling for wrestling and thats all it is.
I can like the matches but it don´t get me excited to watch a match
where I don´t care who wins because of the storyline.
WWE have two storylines currently I enjoy.
Orton - Bryan.
Cena - Henry.
I probably also gonna enjoy the Punk - Lesnar storyline more
then Lesnar returns.
What WWE is doing right currently is that they make me excited.
Last month it was Punk´s return.
Then the Punk - Lesnar/Heyman feud.
The Wyatt Family debut.
And tonight RVD returns.
TNA can´t make me mark out like that.
Bully's biceps look like they're trying to eat the rest of his arms.
looks like he has rubber bands rapped around them lmao
I whould call them equal, all of the ones he mentioned are just as good as the one you mentioned. Imho Orton does not have the mic skills as the others mentioned.
Really? I can see in TNA Only but you missed out on so many other guys in TNA and WWE
Sam's interview style has gown on me... kinda like a fungus. Good interview. :)
And the WHC MITB match yesterday was way better than
ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING TNA have done in recent
years.
You are either trolling, or drunk. CM Punk isn't the only reason to watch WWE, but he is amazing.
Good stuff. Sam looks like Rick Moranis and Dana Carvey too.
Bully Ray wore the same shirt in the interview with peterrosenburg
bully ray has come a long way, every dog has his day.
ive not paid much atention to x division since back when they had jeff hardy vs abyss i think in i want to say 04 or 05. i know that match isnt x division, but i watched tna more back then and honest i dont remember much other than the ring and the unique title match they did.i feel the crazy moves take to much work to pull of to be realistic sometimes.

Take a shot every time Bully says "you know".
i mainly say hat because submission is staple of wrestling, you take it away then you start o lose focus of what wrestling is. and i think it while it may be boring to some, its largely a part of what makes wrestling intense, when will he, will he? axe handle is just old school and does work if you apply pressure, its all about application. no offense rey aint himself anymore though, and sin cara well...i know they are beter than that, but i prefere guys like psicosis etc
21:51 was a bit unexpected lol
I was talking more about the all around product.
It is not the matches I can´t get into. It´s the storylines and then
they suck it is harder to like the matches.
It was a traditional ending for a wedding in a wrestling ring lol.
now I see, thanks so much for the answer buddy.
Am I the only one who hears Heyman's voice while Bully Ray's talking?
He is a deserving wrestler, because losing so much weight it's wonderful for him and he became a wrestling champion :) congratulations for him!
Stop putzing with the mic Sam, great job BTW!
HE LOOKS AMAZING
Could just be HGH which is 100% legal. And he could even be on prescription TRT, which is allowed in most drug testing situations.
Abyss to
But again..
I didn´t spoil anything besides saying what you could expect in 4 of the matches
Big Wrestlers can be very athletic to. He shows awesome feats of strength. It wouldn't be a bad match. Mark Henry vs Austin Aries.
Sorry I had a little soy rage there.
im also an adult who owns ric flair dvds, bret hart dvds, just ordered war games(wcw),
yes opinion, so stop treating yours, as if its fact
Much respect for bubba man.
which is why kurt angle wants to come back, sting has talked about coming to wwe repeatedly and samoa joe is good friends with cm punk. most people understand what tna is nnow,. sadly it was once a decent product, that isnt the case, the sooner the talent that actually is there smartens up and abandons ship the better.
lol at Tommy Dreamer Esque!!
Were watching this to hear Bubba.. Not carrot tops little sister interrupting Bubba every 8 seconds
Actually, most of them are from the WWE who got fired.
I have and always will be a fan of Bully Ray!
TNA holds international shows. That's about as legit as you can get.
Bully Ray's voice reminds me Jimmy's voice from GTA 5
so bully is a nice guy.
Hes came a long way, good shit
