    I highly recommend that when you get the Airlift Performance kit for your car that you get 2 compressors.
    Recommend
    I also highly recommend that you get the compressor isolator kit to help with the compressor noise and vibration from the compressors

    Great video. It helped me decide to change to a 2 compressor set-up before installation. Speed was a huge factor, my compressors now only run for a few seconds. It does however require a Secondary Compressor Wiring Harness from Air Lift.

    • @EvilStreetShark
      @EvilStreetShark  6 лет назад

      Yes! It makes a big difference on how long the compressor runs and the second compressor wiring harness is needed.

    Highly recommend a pully driven compressor. I have a 1974 vw westfailia its bagged and I couldn't stand the electric compressors. Didn't matter how good it was or how many. With the electric ones. They are loud and slow and use a ton of power. I bought an aircinditioning compressor, from extreme zone and it has been modified to co press aor instead of freon. Tou have to grease it a tiny bit every 100 hours of working time. Using synthetic high heat grease. This compressor will charge 2 5 gallon tanks from empty to 175 psi in about 30 seconds. Bow it doesn't do it that fast at idle, bit of you have anyhingover 1100 rpms its golden. Its silent. Its amazing. Ot all vehicles can fit mine, it was super easy on my vw because the motor has no ac.

      @@phuckgoogle6343 Exactly what Viair compressors you referring to? While Viair is good, I have yet to see one that compares to a belt driven pump setup when it comes to speed and overall efficiency.

    • @0verload
      @0verload 8 месяцев назад

      @@phuckgoogle6343 Yes, 485c's do work and they're pretty reliable but they absolutely don't hold a candle to a belt driven setup when it comes to CFM. The belt driven setup is going to be many times quicker, and quieter too. That said, the belt driven setup may not be for everyone, while Viair's are pretty versatile.

    Hey buddy whats up, You can add a water trap on each of the lines that go from the compressor to the tank and it will help reduce moisture even more. Awesome videos btw, finally you did a whole overview of this system

    10:03. Dang it. I got the isolator kit, but didn't get the plates. Took of the "stock" isolators off and put the sprung ones on. Holes already drilled lol. Should still help isolate the noise. Just no secondary rubber soaking the vibrations.
