I can’t say how much I love this locomotive, but to see that someone actually made a model this size out of Legos is too amazing for words! It’s absolutely beautiful!!!

Imagine if they made track in lego land and people were making these big model trains and imagine if they were actually running

Dude, get that idea to headquarters. I’d totally be down for an annual train show at a Legoland park or Discovery Center, running trains around the MiniLand-scale layout

or like a 10 or 12 stud wide track, we can only dream though since they have been neglecting trains

Not if you measure different characteristics.
It all depends on what you are measuring.... length, mass, power, volume, pulling power...?
Big Boy is always in the top five, but again, depends on the criteria.

Loved the video @Beyond the Brick! Can't wait for the next video Guys! UP 4014 is the most Famous of the Surviving Steam Engines from the 1940's. The 4-8-8-4 "Big Boy's" were Designed in the 1930's with the Idea to Haul up to about 5 Miles Worth of Freight to the Ports from the Factories of America during World War Two. However, at that time the Couplers weren't strong Enough to Pull that much Weight so come the Second World War the Big Boy's were basically used as Shunters. 24 Engines were Built, 18 are Preserved with UP 4014 being the Only Engine that's restored to Running Condition with her own Line.

It amazes me that the builder of such a big and complex model does not know (or maybe he just said the wrong figure) the correct scale of the model.
He said the model was built in 1:15 scale.
While in reality, since the Big Boy is 40.47m long, and this model is around 3m log, so the scale is 1:13.5.
One of the most impressive creations I have ever seen!
    Well done, builder!
