It is important to wait, but for a lot of trans people they have been sure for years, and adding 5 years on that just to maybe get a diagnosis is horrible
I'd say keep calm, but I understand the puberty window for hormones. Good luck stay strong and be patient. Also I sincerely apologize for the Irish education system
Great video once again! Please say if this is too personal. Have you lived in Ireland your whole life? I was just wondering because you have an American accent.
Thank you! I don't mind the question, I've lived in Ireland since I was 5 and my family is anglo-irish. There's no reason for me to still have the american accent but hey, the world is weird
im 27 and live in scotland and luckily i managed to save my disability benefits to go to yourgp in edinburgh. it took less than a year, 1 psych assesment and 2 gender therapist appointents and i got t in march. i took until now because i couldnt face going nhs because of how awefull it is in aberdeen (we dont have a clinic and have to go through a doctor who was mentally abusive to me and wait for someone to come from glasgow)
Ireland is a joke tbh, ive been trying sonce 2015, such little progress, pretty much trying to force my way into it, Its so stressful, so sad, why is Ireland like this
