- So - after much waiting I finally pulled the trigger on the infamous Gucci Screener - the deliberately weathered look from the big G themselves.
At 615 GBP retail are they worth it??
I didnt think I would have liked these, but seeing this review made me kinda like the distressed look.
Synthetic Drone i felt the same until I saw these. The Golden Goose a great (cheaper) alternative
This video convinced me to pull the trigger and buy a pair, I got the high tops. I almost hate how comfortable they are because I want to wear them ALL THE TIME. Didn't think I could ever justify so much for a pair of shoes but they really are worth every penny. I'm probably gonna buy a 2nd pair in a different colorway.
Great news - same, while expensive a great pair of sneakers!

It’s worth highlighting that I’m almost EU 41 in almost all designer sneakers but I sized 1/2 size UP for this one.
41 felt a bit -littttle but- tight from the toe area.
Truly worth every penny. favorite shoes i have ever owned.

Why do you want to wear something that looks dirty? Just curious.
Actually an interesting question. Personally I like my trainers to look worn in, but not dirty. Even though these are called "dirty" the look is more scuffed and worn than dirty. You can buy them "clean", if that is your gig.
You got to love people like you for keeping the ultra rich ULTRA rich and keeping the entire fashion industry afloat.
First the market geniuses sold you the ideea that those are premium shoes with expensive luxurious materials used. You bought them because you want to be seen that you have money.
Now, they went the extra mile and sold you the ideea that the uber rich that can afford to throw a couple thousands on trainers wouldn't care if they get abused and dirty.
So, now it's cool to pretend that you can afford to do that too. You can't afford to have those sneakers as a pair of shoes that you don't care about, but it would be cool if others would think that you could.
In both instances you're posing as something you're not and paying heavily for it.
I wish there were hundreds of millions of people exactly like you.
The economies would be booming.

My new shoes usually look like that in a week or two.
I bought womens size 6 and 6 1/2 and I am conflicted. There doesn’t seem to be a huge difference in length more in the tightness. The 6 1/2 fit very comfortable but I’m afraid they will loosen up too much. Any advice?
Mine haven't loosened at all really so I'd stick with the size that works for you. I found the 11 too big (but not by much) so 10.5 worked great for me.
Thank you. The 36.5 feel more comfortable but I do have to tighten the laces just a bit. The 36 feel more snug from the top part of my foot so I can’t tighten laces much. Both have great toe room which is why I didn’t see a diff in length. I will see which I keep 😩

Hi dude, l have never liked Gucci shoes, but this made me change my mind lol , best shoes they ever made .
Sam Waltz same. I like the classic white lows but these are a level above and after a year still wear amazing.
there is no problem with quality its just that the design and its overpriced as if they assume it wont sell too much
They seem to sell ok on ebay but there are a lot of fakes for these too.

Hmmm, maybe I will - they are very comparable tbh and I use the GG when the weather is too bad for the G. There are some great GG deals around so never pay full price like I did!
I love my screener. Use them almost everyday.
i like these shoes except maybe fake ones for less than 100$ lol i never like counterfeits but when you like the look but can't afford the price what can you do :((

I went a half size down. I'm an 11 in Adidas and nearly every other brand. I tried a full size but there were tight and an 11 were loose. 10.5 is perfect for me. If possible see if you can get to a shop to try on, worked best for me.
I like your new pair of Gucci Ace sneakers. I don't think I can get myself to like sneakers that look worn. Just me being honest. They look old and used.
Agree - I love both but you need to buy into the "shabby" trend for the latter. You can clean them up and I think there are even some pairs now not "worn".
I think teachers would scold students who wear these shoes cuz it's not 70% white lol

Warning these shoes are a little big, I'm normally 8 UK and sometimes those can be smalls, on like Adidas/Nike/etc... in these, I'm a 7 and they are mega comfy.
yeah - same, said so in the review. I'm an 11 but run 10.5 in these. I did try 10 but too tight and 11 were a little loose. 10.5 was a little tight at first but fine now. I'm 10.5 in ACE. Always best to try on if you can - I went to Harvey Nichols to try on in UK.

I don't - they are meant to be "Dirty".
I did like them !! They are not affordable at all, but Will they last????
Mine lasting great - I don't go on 3 mile walks with them but for special wear been perfect.

I'm a Nike 10.5 and an Adidas 11. I have started buying luxury sneakers in their EU size - seems to work better for me. So I'm an EU 44.5 - 45 in all the luxury ones I have bought recently and they all fit perfect. For some thats a 10, others a 10.5 and in rare cases an 11. I'd find your closest EU size and go with that. Gucci 10.5 fits me perfect, which in Gucci is a 44.5 🤷♀️. I was lucky enough to be able to try on at the airport. Their site though does say "size down 1/2".

Nope. Just a fabric tongue. Mine are 2019 so maybe the 2020 versions have included this?

EauKnow tough to answer tbh. I take the 10.5 in the Gucci Ace. I tried the 11 in these and they were loose. The 10.5 fit prefect but can feel a little tight over a full day. They do feel like they are wearing in over time though. Take your Gucci size IMHO. Even better - go try them on.

I have them on now and they have broken in nice at a 1/2 size down. Same as my ACE sneakers. I would, but I would also say pop in and try them on if you can. 11 was too big for me and 10.5 was snug for a month and now perfect.

Full price, bought from Gucci online. Only place to get discount on these is at the airport. Could have done but did not have in my size.

These a 10.5. I am a 11 in Adidas and 10.5 in Nike. You can do 10.5 or 11 in these. But - GO TRY THEM ON. Esp given the price.

You don't - I managed to get mine 20% cheaper at the airport but those deals gone now. Gucci has a very tight grip on resale and supply chain.

Tough call. I'm adidas 11. Same on Yeezy. I have these in a 10.5 and while they are fine I COULD have gone to an 11. I have the Gucci Ace in a 10.5 and they fit perfect.
