Brokers have been exaggerating these weights lately, feel like it purposely done.. you tell someone 15k instead of 2k is fucked up bc that’ll potentially mess money up from planning other loads, screw these greedy brokers!
Facts exactly! They could be trying to get you by saying its heavier so you dont put nothing with it.. idk but i always check with shipper to confirm weight
@@adventuresintrucking1995 yes indeed extra precaution w em, then some throw the exclusive tag on it on the rate con on top of trying to negotiate a low rate, but then I have seen a slight climb recently in rpm, but we got to figure out how these loads are actually bid’ed and see what percentage is actually for shipping and handling lol bc we lowkey doing the bulk of the work and their literally desk jockeys, not anything wrong w that and idc if more drivers are joining the market that to me should grow the economy of freight, but yea I been driving for 4 years and running my on mc literally a year today was when I booked my first load! No problem getting loads at all anymore just market for sure changed over these years, but nothing good comes easy! Peace bro!
