This is so relaxing. I'm although glad I don't have to shave my face anymore it was very painful for me but ive been getting laser hair removal on my face and it's really getting rid of pretty much all of my facial hair.
Why would you permanently remove your facial hair?

What does the alum block do? Is it good for the skin or does it just feel good?

its an antiseptic, it tightens the skin and cleans wounds that may have occurred while shaving. plus it feels good

Thats not ice...thats an allum block...lemme explain...an allum block is used to shrink the shaved spot which such as the pores on our skin...it also good for healing wounds after shaving (if its happened)...ur welcome!

What does the alum block do?
It does quite a few things it prevents spread of bacteria, stops bleeding from knicks or cuts and can just soothe the skin I would recommend but it's not something you 100 percent need it's just really helpful

I don't really understand what an alum block is. Doest it become smaller with continued usage like soap, or is it more like wet marble?
It does shrink in time because when you use it, some of it transfers to your face you know.
If you let your skin dry after using it, you'll see it on your face, it's like a layer of powder.
