I remember listening to this song back in highschool…. My laptop was playing autoplay on youtube. I was drinking and cutting classes and I got in trouble, and just constantly skipping school, depressed, and drinking and crying. One night, I was just sleeping and bummed out. This song played around 2-3am, and it woke me up…. I had to download the song bc it relates to my problem and heartbroken. Ever since, I listened to this song and it healed me. I then became the one to uplift and save others. Im now in the military for 10 months and almost a year. I’ll never forget those days I’ll drink to this song and walk at night and on my home from the gym reminiscing how far ive come and healed from pain. I met my wife and now I listen to this song and wrote a poem to her about being her lighthouse. We’re now together for almost 3 years. This song is my main theme song of my life and will never change. Forever. I cant believe im alive and im writing this with my military uniform on. I have a new challenge and battle im dealing with. But this song will always be by my side and head.

Drug addiction is a _painful_ experience for both the addict and those around them, their friends, their family, etc. I've never experienced it myself (and believe me, there are times, even now, where I feel like _majorly_ pressuring myself to try drugs, even if it's just weed, mainly due to societal pressures but also because I just figure it's what you're 'supposed' to do to seem 'cool' to people), and I know I shouldn't want to do drugs, but...That societal pressure is still there. Keep on mind, I am currently 27, mentally disabled (on the autism spectrum;I have PDD-NOS), have chronic depression, high anxiety, and massive, MASSIVE self-esteem and insecurity issues. So...Yeah, you can probably come up with a list of a MULTITUDE of reasons for why I _shouldn't_ do drugs from that vague information alone...But again, there's that societal pressure...Even when I'm not actively, consciously thinking of trying drugs, I'm still thinking of trying drugs, because drugs are EVERYWHERE, in the news, the media, etc. So...Yeah. Sorry for the rant, I just felt like venting and ranting. :P.
