the red covered bridge was also donated to the town and is used as a storage shed at Northeast Slopes in Corinth, VT. You can see it from street view on google maps. Pretty neat to see
If I had the money to spare I would have bought the land where the “house” was and actually build that house from the movie, right down to the last detail, even a replica of the model town.
Beetlejuice was and is one of my all-time favorite movies. That was a really good Beetlejuice impersonation at the end. I think Beetlej... whoops, that was close. I think BJ would be proud.
I see in the comments lots of people asking the name of the town is listed at the end of the movie credits as East Corinth, Vermont and the movie was filmed at the Culver Studio's , Culver City California.
Adam ~ WE LOVED THIS! Great job on the entire production. My wife said you and I are lost brothers, because I "document" all historical/interesting facts about everything I video. I especially you filming at the same angles the movie was shot at. This really helps the viewer see the similarities....but you know that. Great job!!!
Some nostalgic fan with lots of money might actually build the same house on the same lot. That would actually be awesome and could become a tourist attraction and generate money much like the Goonies house in Astoria, OR.
My dad just bought the mrs Shannon's School For Girls were converting it into our home but my grandpa used to work at the library and he was asked to help in the movies so he got to meet everyone and actually be part of it
Aloha Adam, Hope you are enjoying a wonderful morning. We moved from Hawaii to Vermont... I just love watching this one. I am going there in a few days, as We live an hour and half north from it. Can't wait to retrace your steps ~~~~
Mr. Woo... You have done it again... BJ was one of my FAVORITE movies as a kid. It's amazing to see how many things were built just for the movie. The covered bridge, house facade, etc. Thanks for this video, and keep up the good work sir!!
2018 here and this was a cool throwback. Love that movie and how you remember lines from every movie setting you visit. I wish I could do what you do but being disabled I'll settle for happily living vicariously through your videos! Thanks for taking us along!
I've watched so many of your videos, and when I found your channel, I was watching filming locations of some of my favorite movies, totally missed this gem!! Excellent!
@C J I, too, would have reservations with a Beetlejuice2. First of all, I fear that too much focus would go into CGI, the storyline would suffer, and the sequel would be subpar. Lastly, Hollywood needs to be more original and stop making sequels since the more sequels there are the crappier the movies.
@C J I never got into those super hero movies since I am not interested in them. Not since Christopher Reeves played Superman, Helen Slater played Supergirl, and Lynda Carter played Wonder Woman was I ever interested in super heroes. Like you, I prefer a good storyline with substance, well-developed characters that carry the film, and not too much of a overpolished look. Also, many of today's films are about doom and gloom which I (and hopefully others) can do without. There are exceptions here and there but lately, from what I've noticed, there aren't that many.
@C J The point is there is always hope but film makers go way over the top with doom and gloom. And, yes, I LOVE "Labyrinth" 💖. It is one of my favorite films😄. Although I was never a David Bowie fan, in this film, he played the Goblin King beautifully. I cannot imagine anyone else in that role😀. By the way, I was born in the 70s😀.
@C J You are confusing Christopher Reeves with George Reeves. George was TV's Superman although I never saw many reruns of this show. Probably my mother did😀. Besides "Labyrinth", I saw David in " The Hunger" (1983). The film didn't impress me much since I don't remember much of it😂. But, playing Jared, he probably turned a lot of teenagers on although I didn't at first pay too much attention on that part of the anatomy as I was taking in the weirdness of The Labyrinth itself😂. To be honest, I don't pay much attention to many of today's films. I read the reviews, especially the ones by respectable and open-minded columnists. The last good one I liked was with Daniel Ratcliffe in, " The Woman in Black" which is more of an old-fashioned kind of film where your imagination can scare you. However, even though I like musicals the recent, "Les Miserables", I found very disappointing. With the live singing, there were just too many close -ups of the face whereas when the music is pre-recorded and the actors lipsync back the words, there is more room for various different shots. Not to mention that Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe were just too inadequate for their singing roles among other problems. In reality, my favorite films and television shows are from the 30s-80s although there are some from 90s to the 2000s that I like. I like some comedies especially that have wit such as the 1950s "Some Like It Hot" starring Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis and "The Odd Couple" starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Mathau (1970s). Both comedies have wit and they are funny without using bathroom or sexual humor. Also, some classic horror movies including the original, " The Haunting" starring Julie Harris, " The Fog" starring Jamie Curtis, "What Lies Beneath" with Michelle Pfeiffer and Harrison Ford, "The Others" with Nicole Kidman, and " The Uninvited" (1940s) starring Ray Midland and Ruth hussy among many others. Finally, some musicals, some drama, inspirational movies and definitely some cartoons that I grew up with and most of Disney but mostly the hand drawn ones.
I always took this for granted. I built a cabin right up that road in 1981 and still go there. I am going there tonight and will, as usual cross the Beetlejuice bridge, go up past Dixie Bobbin Factory.to my A frame. I love the movie and it always comes up when we bring guests.
glad to see you in our beautiful state. I absolutely love beetlejuice and can watch it a million times. I have been to florida and it to is a beautiful place. the only thing I didn't like are the squitos way too big. lol.
Loved this one... one of my all time favorite films from my youth... Plus my mom has asked that next time you go on an adventure for me that you ask her....
Man I love youtube. Thanks Adam for the great videos. Please keep them coming. Folks like you make it possible for others such as myself to see awesome places like this. Which otherwise would be near to impossible for us to ever get to see. I think I'll take time out to watch a movie now. Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!
I believe the local library or city hall in that city has the original mini city model from the movie, sorry you didn't know that I read someplace while doing some research on the movie.
Hello Adam great video! Beetlejuice is one of my favorite films from Tim Burton. After watching your video it really inspired me to travel and visit East Corinth, Vermont. So in August of 2016 I got in my car and traveled 6 hours to the small town of East Corinth and seeing the town in person when I arrived and how much it has changed over the years since the movie was filmed was quit an experience for me! Just amazing! Safe travels Adam. Keep up the great work and the videos rolling in! :)
Crazy how the movie Beetlejuice came out 25 years ago. My grandma got me the VHS in 1998, the 10th Anniversary of the film. Huge Burton fan, thanks for bringing back awesome memories!
I am a native of Vermont and I am very interested to visit East Corinth one day because I have recently rewatched Beetlejuice with my parents one night. :)
Boy. Despite all the years gone by there's still such a Beetlejuice feel to that town. I guess it's the same with most New England towns. Burton's films always seemed to capture that surreal strangeness inherent to places like that. I grew up in a NE town myself and am more than familiar with it.
I'm glad to meet a fellow Tim Burton fan! I really also love Burton's earlier works, such as Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, although I haven't see Pee-Wee's Big Adventure yet.
Why would u thumbs down u know it's the right spot Adam u always get the locations spot on wish in your opening scene talking about the helicopter shot you would have got out old faithful and done it!!!
Wow, you go all out to please the fans of the film by showing where this classic was shot. Bravo and great dance at the end, that Beetlejuice Bio-Exorcist commercial was funny as hell.
Brilliant ty so much for the time and effort you but into these me and my daughter love watching how you show from the movies to the actual places now ty again
How funny My daughter and I watched beetle juice today...I love VERMONT and was watching videos on VERMONT and I found your video Had no idea it was filmed in VERMONT...rad video Thank you for sharing WE NEED MORE SOULPOWER USE THE FORCE
I grew up not too far from here (on the NH side of the Connecticut River). A girl I knew got cast as an extra to be one of the girls from the girls school.
Adam, you make a very good Movie Location Host. I imagine you have an almost never-ending supply of Film locations. You prove you have done your home work with your presentations. Very good work! You need a Spot on the Travel Channel.
I've been watching herve attias bids for years. I'm excited to have found yours. You pick up on the little things that I remember too. Keep it up. Great work!
That was SO cool that you found the actual bridge, as well as the spot where the house was. Even though the house facade wasn't there anymore, the driveway was enough for fans like me, LOL. That spot you're walking is kind of crazy because it's like the gateway to the afterlife and all the crazy events of the film. I love your impression at the end, HILARIOUS.
Ah. BeetleJuice. I used to quote "I myself, am strange and unusual." All the time. Also, I've wanted to have a BF on Halloween so we could dress as Lydia and BeetleJuice from the wedding scene.
Wow man; your channel was exactly what i was looking for! Thats awsome that you go to all these movie sets! when i was a child and this movie came out I was terrified to the core! Now that im in my 20s it brings back memories but they dont scare me anymore, when you watch Beetlejuice when your mature enough this movie is halarious!! cant wait to see more from your channel! :)
The model town used in the movie was donated to the town. It's in the library.
That is awesome! I may never end up in Vermont. But for full nerd status if I do, thats the first thing im checking out.
the town is in the library ???
That's awesome! Every time I watch the movie, I wonder where the model ended up. I just assumed it was thrown out or something. Good to know!
What happened to the house that was on the lot? Was it just a model?
the red covered bridge was also donated to the town and is used as a storage shed at Northeast Slopes in Corinth, VT. You can see it from street view on google maps. Pretty neat to see
I've seen BeetleJuice about 167 times, and it keeps getting funnier every single time i see it.
Nice f cking model! Honk Honk
If I had the money to spare I would have bought the land where the “house” was and actually build that house from the movie, right down to the last detail, even a replica of the model town.
Maitland style or Deetz style
@@s.storumus8620 Well it could use a little remodeling, but why don't you leave *this* room alone.
Awww that would be amazing
its so sad how empty the town is and how the buildings have deteriorated
welcome to vermont
Beetlejuice was and is one of my all-time favorite movies. That was a really good Beetlejuice impersonation at the end. I think Beetlej... whoops, that was close. I think BJ would be proud.
Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! I want him to show up.
Just say Beetle guys😉.
That ending was by far the best thing I've seen all week.. How did I miss this one for so long?!
I love that place! I live like, three hours away and last Halloween my friends and I hung out around there in costumes from the movie- I was Lydia!
hellaween shellaween are you going to do it again this year or no?
So cool ! Somebody should start a BeetleJuice festival there for October.
I see in the comments lots of people asking the name of the town is listed at the end of the movie credits as East Corinth, Vermont and the movie was filmed at the Culver Studio's , Culver City California.

I love how you show sniplets and stills from movies and shows to help put it all together!
If only the house were real :'(
+trippnboi That is a major bummer the Deetz's place was fabricated for the movie.
If the movie was made now it would just be CGI, not even a facade.
Some nostalgic fan with lots of money might actually build the same house on the same lot. That would actually be awesome and could become a tourist attraction and generate money much like the Goonies house in Astoria, OR.
Actually, I really fell in love with that house in which I could see myself living. INDEED! I wish it were real, too😞.
@@lewisner absolutely I agree with you and as always someone is gonna disagree. Smh!
This was cool. Great job finding all these locations. I wonder if Beetlejuice 2 ever gets made if they'll go back to these locations.
They are building sets at the original location right now :)
@@danlightfoot6592 Sweet! I still have yet to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, been trying to find a close imax showing of it.
I love beetlejuice! I'm glad you did a filming location of this movie!! Great job Adam!!
"I've come for your daughter, Chuck!" lol
I have a broken leg and ankle and these videos have helped pass the time.

Beautiful place to make the movie ,Adam !! I don´t remember that i watched this movie !!
You should, you don't know what you're missing.
Thanks for posting this! I’ve always liked the look of that little town and can’t believe how after all these years (30!) it still looks the same!
yes im a big fan of tim burton also.love all his movies..this is awesome
You did a really good job of giving us "The Viewer's " a good Shot by Shot of the Town with the movie clips. Good Job bro
I am going to Vermont in Waterbury and this don’t look too far away so I’m definitely visiting this area. Beetlejuice is one the best 80’s films ever.
