it’s weird that people are still using that meme. I thought it was a meme because of how obviously false the allegations were and because dream looked like a goober.
This. I don’t find him cringe because I don’t watch him, don’t know what he’s all about, but no matter what his actual content is I find it absolutely insane that people thought or still think it is funny to joke about the allegations… Absolute madness.
The disturbing part about the George situation is you could tell people were legitimately disappointed when Caiti's story started to fall apart and she was shown to be a liar. These people would rather have someone actually get assaulted than admit they got it wrong
They dont even want her to be correct, they just wanna hear what they've been waiting for, that is for the downfall of George. Actual assaulters are laughing at this situation, everyone is looking at the wrong place, when there are those SA victims that are in need of assistance to move on.
@@9KingP im an sa VICTIM and im laughing at it, we Really need strict legal punishments for false claims so shit like this doesnt happen, and if it Does, the accuser is justly punished
I think you’re look at it wrong or just explaining wrong, pp would rather someone be assaulted, they would rather someone didn’t lie about it, or try to make it sound worse then it is. Ppl were upset she made it up, not that it wasn’t true.
I don't care how much you hate certain people, don't make up false allegations that could ruin their life. My least favorite part is that those people won't even get punished.
People that make false accusations like these deserve harsh prison sentences tbh. I swear that they think they can get away with them just because nothing bad happens to people that make false accusations while the person being accused has their whole life ruined over a lie
probably didnt even hated him. Just thought she could somehow gain something from this. And she probably could have if her story actually made any sense at all, which is probably the scariest part about this. Like for example if she went up to his room with him, and then just said "sorry actually I will go back to my room and sleep." Coulda probably made up some assault story in the elevator and whatnot. Of course all of that wasnt the case since she likely was massively interested in him back then given she kept flirting with him for at least another month. She probably started feeling like she didnt want it once she wasnt interested in George any more. By that logic I would have commited constant SA to all of my ex partners. But thats not how consent works. You can just pretend you didnt consent because you regret it in hindsight. Like imagine if I could take back the consent for all the stupid things I have bought on the internet. I'd be a rich man. Or maybe I just decided that I actually never wanted to life in a 800€ appartment in the city but would have prefered a 400€ one where I had to commute a little longer. My landlord better give me that rent back right? lol
The audacity of Caiti lamenting that no one would take her seriously if she tried to file a report, when women like her are the very reason true victims get ignored, is absolutely mind-boggling
You know the reason most those cases don't make it anywhere is BECAUSE they lack evidence and/or are provably false allegations? So yea, it's literally because of her. But the data she is talking about is highly skewed data, becsuse someone CLAIMING to be an SA victim is all it takes to be counted as one of the ones that "didn't make it to trial" More specifically the study she is getting that data from completely ignored the reasons why they didn't go any where, and the data is practically useless.
Not just that but in her case she supposedly has multiple witnesses and a confession from the guy. She's the opposite of the type of girl who's story wouldn't be heard (if it was actually SA which it's not)
The most pathetic thing about all of this is that the people who preached the narrative of George being a rapist, latched on to the sexism allegations after being proved wrong. That’s not forgetting the fact that everyone basically forgot about what happened with Wilbur because of the false allegations towards George.
What sucks for George is the fact he's still losing subscribers, and he lost brand deals over these allegations; I've never been a fan of the Dream SMP, Dream, or George, but this guy didn't deserve to have his public reputation dragged through the mud like this. Also the blatant lying from Caitibugzz is insane, I feel like she saw the support Shubble was getting when she called out Wilbur and wanted to emulate that for herself. Even though no assault or abuse took place. I think she wanted attention.
I mean lets be honest. If they started uploading regular content again they would be gaining subs or at the very least have way more views and thus income again. They probably made so much in their lifetime already, they literally dont have have to care. They are enjoying their life and if they want to make a youtube project again they will. Apparently they have been working on a lot of stuff, but who knows. If I would be making like a million every year just from interest alone, I'd be less motivated to make a video even if it earns me a couple thousand bucks. Same story for George as well Like you can tell even for those who had no drama they really toned down on content because honestly they made so much and probably got tired of minecraft at well at some point. Like Skeppy, Badboyhalo, tommyinnit and so on. I think its just natural you lose subs from this. And honestly you dont want brainwashed ultra wokies who think reversing the burdong of proof or law of public opinion would be a good idea as subs anyway. The further away these people are from anything you do, the better.
What's funny is it was likely to get subscribers, Shubble herself was gloating about her subscriber count going up to 1mil after all her own false allegations (false until proven with evidence, words mean jack shit these days.) Also cool seeing you around here zman.
What I always find interesting is the motive and psychology behind these false allegations and cancellation attempts. Is it a desperate cry for attention? Is she being persuaded by a malicious friend into spinning these false narratives to the point she deludes herself to reality? Is she bored of the monotony in her conflict-free life and so has to go out and create controversy? Really have to wonder what compels these kinds of "TikTok girls" into committing such heinous acts. I think at some point genuine engagement with reality and the consequences of your actions in the real world just breaks down when you've centered your entire identity around online clout and content chasing like these girls probably very well have. I suppose nowadays, if you garner massive support in your attempt to smear the name of a large content creator, there's major financial incentive at stake.
I might be wrong in this but as a woman, when both parties had something to drink and the lady leans into and cuddles into the touches of a guy, its not the guys fault to continue said touches. Verbal consent doesnt have to be given, when physically visible consent is obvious. Like when you kiss your husband and it gets frisky, yall dont ask either, you just do it cause its obvious that that is wanted. "She didnt give verbal consent to be touched" well i am about 100.000% sure George didnt give VERBAL consent to be cuddled with either. Cause thats stupid. They were already cuddling and both drunk, neither asked for consent verbally. Just cause you regret something you did while drunk AFTER the fact it happened, you cant come out and accuse someone of something so horrible just to validate your regret.
I totally agree with you here. Romantic relationship development is just what happens, you don't ask for every move. You can, but generally you just make a move, see the reaction, and either stop or continue. She didn't show any discomfort as stated by almost all of people present there and herself, so that's a normal response for George to slowly make more moves. People saying that you have to ask consent for everything are just different breed. I can't imagine them having a healthy loving relationship. I definitely wouldn't want to be asked all the time if they can hold my hand, touch my hair, touch my face, hug me or whatever. If I dislike something, I can say it or show it non-verbally. No need to sign a document each time you want to hug me.
Hey, not a woman here, but yes, you're in the right. But for some reason they wanna point out everyone was drunk, but somehow forget that that also means that George also couldn't have consented by their logic. What I also keep thinking is, imagine you've been cuddling with a guy for about an hour and THEN he asks "mind if I touch?" I don't know about you but I'm pretty sure I've heard a lot of women say it's offputting if a guy asks if they can kiss them, so I'd assume it applies here too. Glad to see people that actually have some damn sense.

@@madsfiedler3884I love how not one single person is taking issue with the fact her 21+ friends are the one who brought a minor (in the eyes of drinking not age) to a party to drink and then left her by herself lol.
The difference between you taking her seriously and treating her like a liar is about 6 months. Like if she were 17 her accusations would suddenly be taken far more seriously because of law.
As a veteran drunken party animal, I can indeed confirm once you're hanging out with a bunch of people drinking, it's assumed that everyone is at least 21.
Right especially in a public place, a house party be leary but a small group in a hotel I'd assume we're all 21+ not that age is the issue here she was 18 and a half.
Especially since she showed up drunk- if she’d had showed up sober, not aware they’d drink, and then had them pushed on her, sure. But if someone is bold enough to walk around and show up places drunk, I assume they were able to get that way of their own accord and weren’t afraid of getting caught being drunk underage. Or at least, I can’t be sure she isn’t, idk where she got drunk. Wild story.
@@JEAGERlST Didn't say I was. I was a shitty father and used all that partying as a way to keep from confronting my shitty marriage. Since then I've averaged maybe 10 drinks a year. Haven't had more than 2 drinks at a time in over 13 years. Keep the snark to yourself.
This might be true, but what seems more likely that’s happening is allegations such as Caitie’s are what’s educating Gen Alpha as to what sexual assault and rape to be, and what seems far more likely (to me at least) of what the result’s gonna be is going to be a huge spike in AI gfs/bfs and ppl psyching themselves into being asexual and “aromantic”.

The most infuriating part is the lack of defense George had against his own situation of false allegations. He ended up apologizing to someone falsely accusing him of SA, which sets an atrocious precedent.
He never had to apologize, he made it seem like he actually did something bad. And it's their fault for bending their knees the second anyone posts a video about them.
I feel like George was second guessing himself and just felt bad. Keep in mind, situations like these are how people get gaslit. Once you have been gaslit hard enough, you might believe pretty much anything anyone says and question what really happened. As someone who has been gaslit HARD over things a LOT in my life, I can tell you just how real that is.
And you have stupid people saying “HE ADMITTED IT!!!! THAT MEANS HE’S GUILTY!!!!” Like bro people can admit to things that they didn’t do so 1. They can get people off there backs or 2. Being gaslit into thinking you did something bad. The man didn’t even admit fully to what he did he said “I am so sorry for what I done to you and I didn’t mean to hurt you if I did”

I'm so sorry for everyone who has actually gone through SA or worse. You are heard , good people will believe you
These girls somehow twisted the concept of sideration and influence that happen to some real victims and use it as a trump card to avoid any accountability, ego damages and to get what they want, that's so vicious. In my country we had a great youtuber that many fangirls wanted to have a taste of, he dated some of them, but they were so pissed about being ****ed then ghosted one after another that they gathered together to accuse him of abuse because of his statut and twisting some messages to accuse him of forcing them, all above 18yo btw. The messages were just him telling each girls that he'll more or less stop talking to them if they don't go further with him. And they accepted. It can be considered a jerky move but imagine a girl saying that to her pretendants, nobody would bats an eye, those criticizing her would be accused of sexism and slut shaming, and her exes would be accused of harrassing her... He got his reputation destroyed and had to stop his carrier even though he and some other creators made convincing debunking videos.
She tries to play the victim card, gets caught, doubles down on it and still fails at being the good guy in this is amazing.....these people are the reason REAL sexual assault allegations aren't taken seriously
I know this is a popular opinion, but I don't think it's true. I think it's actually allowing a much needed correction to occur. It sucks that these guys are suffering false allegations, but people should be extremely skeptical of allegations that are carried out in this fashion. Anyone that attempts to hold court on social media in order to levy SA allegations should have their motives scrutinized immediately. At the end of the day, anyone who uses social media to levy allegations, is doing it because they want to socially ostracize the person they are accusing. It sucks that it came to this, but it shouldn't take this many false allegations for ppl to stop reflexively believing these stories without any evidence or genuine corroboration. If women do want to come forward using social media, they should plan on substantiating those claims. Real predators will still be exposed if accusers provide receipts. Just look at Vince McMahon. And even that Slick guy that tried rubbing up on some chick that was passed out. People will still believe actual victims... but scrutinizing these claims is the only way to discourage ppl like Caiti. Thats my 2 cents anyway

The biggest red flag in all of this for me was how CaitiBugzz went from crying her eyes out to trying to stop herself from smiling while she talked about it. If what she claims happened really happened there is no way in hell or high water she would be so perky talking about it. Just watch that last stream she did and she’s clearly trying her best to resist smiling the whole time. Generally speaking, no one should be happy talking about a traumatic experience. I feel like Americans really infantilise young women (18+), which is what causes situations like George’s. Her main point is that she was “freshly 18”, when that has no bearing on the situation at all. She’s acting like that makes him a paedo, but she was literally a legal adult. She chose to drink illegally, and chose to be there. I’ve been assaulted myself and I hate to victim blame, but she’s contradicted herself multiple times. She never once said no, and she apparently reciprocated. He’s not a mind reader, he had no way of knowing that she didn’t want to hook up.
I think it’s a pendulum swing from how far the opposite it was back in the 90’s and 2000’s. It wasn’t uncommon for teens to be sexualized in movies and shows back then. Hell, I think there’s a clip of Ashton Kutcher on Punk’d talking about the Olsen Twins where he says “everyone’s waiting for them to turn 18”, and jokes/attitudes like that were pretty common back then. But now it’s swinging to the opposite extreme.
People like Caiti try to weaponize the “Me Too” movement, and their slogan to “believe ALL women” for their own benefit. It shuts down any inquiry around the topic lest you be socially shamed. There needs to be a new “Me Too” movement against false accusers, because this is getting out of control. Everyone loses. Especially real victims. And people like Caiti suffer no consequences for trying to destroy someone’s life. After the 24 hour news cycle people will forget and move on. That’s probably why she privated her socials. It’s far easier for a female streamer to bounce back from controversy than it is for men.
Well its not Americans lol. Its people terminally online, you see how the whole drama is based on off clout chasers + twitter users? I bet you if u talk to any random person on the street, most of them will say 18 is legal full stop. I feel like that's what happens when you take drama too seriously, you equate online opinions as real life opinions, the truth is that people always online(twitter/4chan/redditors) will end up having really weird out of touch opinions/thinking so that they can join a group and feel strong together and jump on someone/something to vent their frustrations. It can be about age/race/religion/political/games/music/science, anything can and will be twisted and to fit their narratives and the only real way to stop is to not engage with such people, honestly all the videos/talks about such things also doesn't help, you can see how some random twitter post with like 10 likes and 100 views can get reacted by someone and get like millions of views on youtube/tiktok/instagram, so it ends up having this effect where people say the dumbest shit to feel seen and heard.

Okay, so IMO Caiti's first allegation stream, when she is reading from her phone, sounds like shes writing a novel. Some of the words used to describe the scene like 'coughed out a no' sounds like shes trying to use literary techniques to add more emotion to an ALLEGED assult and falsify the incident. Idk who to believe but all i know is im happy with watching the 2010s minecraft now.
Oh yeah, it's obviously fake appealing to emotion. Because if she didn't do that, it would've been extremely easy to disprove her claims. But now that she's crying and has this extreme language, people will side with her regardless, since obviously it's real and he's just lying/faking evidence.
i mean like. my first sexual experience is my biggest regret, and it left me traumatized and sexually repulsed ever since. but it wasn't the guys fault. i thought i was ready but i wasn't. that's not rape, that's a mistake on my part. i totally feel for cati, as being touched and regretting it afterward is one of the most heart wrenching and gross feelings ever, but it doesn't make you the victim. you thought you were into it and later realized you made a mistake. it's awful but it doesn't give you the right to ruin the other parties life
Hope you’re doing alright tho, I think it’s incredibly mature to have that introspection “I simply wasn’t ready, that’s on me, not them”. Maybe one day you’ll be ready, maybe you won’t, either way I hope you’re doing alright and finding happiness in life!
I feel the EXACT same way. I was 19 and in a terrible place mentally, consented to get blackout drunk together with a guy I barely knew, lost my virginity and woke up in a relationship with a guy I didn't know and wasn't really attracted to. But I stayed with him because I didn't want to feel like a whore. Terrible experience that I regret, felt disgusting. But we were both drinking heavily and at the end of the day I was an adult and had to live with my own actions. I keep saying it, regretting a sexual encounter while both parties are drunk (or not) does not equal sexual assault.
my friend is an SA victim who fell into drugs and self sabotage after she was SA'd. she saw this situation on twitter and asked me about it (bc shes not an mcyt fan) and i showed her all the videos and responses without putting in my personal opinion so she could form her own thoughts on it. she noticed lots of inconsistencies on caiti's story and after finishing she went manic and kept on screaming "she's making me look like a fucking *joke*". i had to talk her out of relapsing. after she finally calmed down, we had a talk about this. one of the things she said that stuck out to me is that "her argument fell apart for me right after caiti said that she was faking enjoying it. she was making a conscious decision to hide her uncomfortableness so george couldn't read her correctly. that is not sexual assault."
Yeah I think she was just an inexperienced girl regretting her own actions and she was surrounded by people telling her she was SA. I also was trying to hide my uncomfortableness during my first time, I ended up not liking it and felt bad, but that was my own inexperience talking, my mistake, I would never have accused the older girl I did it with of abusing me.
This girl cares so much about her age when it comes to sex, but doesn't care at all when it comes to consuming alcohol. Have some moral consistency please. Also, if people want to continue to infantalize themselves at 18, maybe it's time we raise the legal age for everything on them and see how they like it.

im not trying to defend anyone but that is just a dumb comparison. something being "illegal" doesn't always mean it's "immoral". especially considering drinking at age 18 is completely normal behavior.
During my teenagehood i was accused of abuse and SA twice; once by a random girl who was stalking me, showing up to my council block trying to get me to hang out with her, and if i was not home she would go around the neighbourhood asking random kids where i was (long story...), then a year or so later her boyfriend (WHOM SHE WAS DATING AT THE TIME TOO) tried beefing with me because I apparently assaulted said girl... long story short he realised she was crazy and made it all up and became extremely friendly and apologetic towards me for years to come (i dont blame him, he was a teenager in his first relationship, i would probably believe her too if i was him). Then it was an ex girlfriend who was suuuper abusive towards me (nothing physical but threats of suicide, calling me useless or pathetic in front of our friends, purposefully saying very hurtful things or ignoring me because "it made her believe i actually loved her" (because seeing it did hurt me made her believe i did love her, because if i wasnt hurt it would mean i didnt care about her and loosing her... i guess? and so on). Then i finally broke up with her after about a year of a relationship... only for her to tell all of our friends I was the one doing all the abuse; she literally listed things she has done to me, claiming i did them to her. The issue with that was... she was talking to people WHO WERE THERE WITNESSING HER ABUSE, and many times tried convincing me to run away from her. But there were some people (well... lets be honesg here, it was all men simping for her, not a woman in sight as they saw through her bullshit immediately) who either werent in the group back then or didnt care as they wanted to date her, "believing" her and excluding me from like half of all social events, parties etc of my friends group (which i later left altogether). But anyways, im not trying to say that "hurr all whemen lie and eat hot chip" or whatever; its my fault for dating such girls to begin with (well okay, the first girl i didnt even know when she started stalking me, but the 2nd one was on me). I just felt like sharing my own story. I do believe that false accusation brought to court should be punished whilst they're seemingly ignored completely, but only if lying is actually provable - vut this is very hard to prove, which could lead to people being sentenced for "false" accusations that were not fake at all, but lack of proof could lead people to believe it was made up. Its a slippery slope.
No, it is not your fault for being abused by a psycho. The fact that, as a man, my guilt is presumed is the reason why don't even get into relationships to begin with. If the chance of being in an abusive relationship was the only risk, it would be bad enough but it would be manageable, but being piled on by everyone around me and even blamed for it is not something i want to deal with in my life. Besides, i've been alone for most of my life, it used to bother me when i was younger,. now, i'm finally comfortably numb.
i think the biggest thing for me that made me somewhat suspicious of caiti is that in her original stream, everything is said like some sort of book. like she used such dramatic phrasing and it's almost like some sort of creative writing assignment instead of a stream talking about a serious topic.
@@michaelhernandez7978 I'm not an expert on the subject but real celebrities (actors, singers etc) have been doing this for a while so there is a precedent for it. That being said they aren't fool proof as consent only counts when you sign the contract, even if it's 5 seconds later you can always change your mind making the contract null and void. I'm not sure how well saying you changed your mind 5 seconds later holds up in court but it's something to keep in mind. Also making a girl sign a contract is really weird so I'm 100% sure twitter would still find a way to get upset by it despite it being exactly what they asked for.
I WAS JUST THINKING THIS !! like supposedly a room with a few people she knew and a few she just met??? why would she outright state to them that shes a virgin
I’m sorry but Katie is blatantly reading from a script, her tone is so muted and her tears are completely fake as well, her ‘sobs’ are so strained and unnatural
The Caiti situation angers me to an unfathomable degree. It's bad enough that she's a flat-out liar who tried to bring him down for no discernible reason, but to try to garner sympathy by framing it as some ped... situation, and she then has the absolute stones to admit she was illegally drinking, thus deflating so much of the story she's trying to peddle. It's mind-numbing how nonsensical it all is... and she gets on camera and cries like getting touched on the stomach is tantamount to SA. It's just baffoonery at its worst. She deserves jail time for the attempt. And she got an apology!!!
Not to mention that dumb dude defending her and yelling 😂 damn i never got second hand embarrassment like that these kids will feel so ashamed in their twenties 😂
@@TimSlee1If you're gonna claim that anyone under 18 even if they are 1 day too young is still a child and thus are a absolved of any responsability, then sorry but as soon as you turn 18 you're on your own
@@TimSlee1 dude. at the end of the day, even if it isnt right, the legal system dictates that once they turn 18 they can no longer be considered a minor.
tbh i’d get the point of bringing up her being 18 if he was in his 30s or 40s, because that’s kinda creepy. not illegal, but creepy, but dude was in his mid 20s. her entire argument was “i was 18 and i was drunk!!!!!!” like girl, you can enlist in the military at ur age, you weren’t a baby.
@@beronicagarcia74 Someone who has finished college going after someone who has just finished school is pretty creepy. Same for someone in their final year of college going after someone in high school.
"Freshly 18" still has to be the dumbest phrase a legal adult can make to curb personal responsibility. Minors MUST be protected by the law, but society completely removing one's personal agency/responsibilty until they see their 18th birthday cake is why kids and teenagers get dumber every generation.
The readily available nature of online content and the attention-seeking nature of young life is why you think people are getting dumber, rather than any actually citable statistic.
I hate it too. People mature at differant rates so the 18 line is important to arbatrate it as a baseline to being able to mqke your own decisions. If you are still "too young" at 18 we should raise the right to vote and buy guns then
I have a theory these kinds of allegations coming out against ppl, where we’re lowering the bar of entry to being a sexual degenerate so low to the point you can find yourself accidentally tripping over it if you’re not anxiously microanalyzing every tiny detail of a sexual encounter, that we’re going to see the most (basically) neutered boys in Gen Alpha (HUGE spike in “aroaces” and the like) and with the supply of AI girl/boyfriends, basically irl romantic relationships are going to go the way of the dodo. That’s just a theory, though. But it seems more and more with each passing day that the risk attached to sexual interactions are just far too much of a gamble to take. Gen Z’s romanticization and exaggerating of “trauma” just makes it all seem like it’s not worth it.
Bro I was out there defending George since DAY ONE. And I don't even like the guy's content. All I knew was that the allegations were dodgy at BEST. Glad to know I was in the right!
Hi! Sexual Assault victim here. What Caiti did is horrible. SA is horrible but falsely accusing someone is horrible as well. I wish George the best with dealing with all the false allegations.
I hate to say it, but im gen z and it concerns me that theres quite literally hundeds of thousands if not millions of people my age who will go on absolute witch hunts regarding the george stuff. If people are so willing to do all of this over random strangers online, what will they do to people in their actual lives?
if it helps they'll do absolutely nothing, because people talking mad shit online but whimpering the second you give them any irl pushback is a tale as old as the internet itself.
I wanna stop and point out that this entire discourse is literally millions of people invested in a story that's essentially: "an of-age girl got drunk at a party and cuddled with a guy who didn't quite feel her up, and then later on she regretted it(?) but nothing else actually happened." Why are we treating this like some high-profile r*pe case? Over half the population would be in prison if these were even remotely legitimate grounds for punitive action. Move on, there's real stuff happening in the world.
Wow so woke, it’s not as bad as r*e so why even talk about it am I right guys? Wait she didn’t even get killed why are we even talking about this so boring I’m woke lol millions of people wasting their time I’m not I’m woke
I think you need to look at the bigger picture of the implications this may have in the future. Sure, individually this case is nothing... as a whole - this helping to warp people's perspective on what actual consent/SA is. People online have a lot of power nowadays, to the point where companies will change/stop things if it's cancellable, or there is outrage. (Shows how much certain spaces online control irl) If these situations continue to occur, and people who have literally 0 life experience, and are mentally unwell - are controlling the narratives.. we will be in a very dangerous position potentially irl going forward. (To say the least) It also doesn't help that this prevents REAL SA victims coming out with stories, in fear of backlash. (This situation overall makes it much more difficult for them) And that male content creators will distance themselves more slowly from women, in fear of these situations happening. (It can literally happen SO easily with these chronically online women. All it takes is one tweet) That's why people care a lot, and are not willing to just ''move on'' so quick.
@@clockedfre yea i feel like the last part you said is overlooked. how are people in the public eye supposed to find friends or do anything at all with shit like this happening every day. they already have trouble being used for fame or money, and now people in the same boat are turning on them with "allegations". these people falsely accusing deserve to be blacklisted from any party or event.
@@xMckey 100%. It's so cooked man. It must suck not being able to just chill, and having to watch your back 24/7. These bad faith actors are so evil, because they KNOW what the internet will react like...and they KNOW they are attempting to ruin someone's whole life's work and future! :/ The whole content space needs some unwritten rules for both creators and fans to abide by in these situations. It's just so complex though, because for every suggestion there seems to be a catch 22; or chronically online take/counter argument. Your suggestion is a start. Charges being pressed would be good too. (But would have to be done in a way to not deter real victims somehow, but also protecting victims of false accusations)
Girl you not a victim. You didn't describe the "touching" until your allegations were dead in the water. He may have admitted to touching, but you elaborated on what kind of touching it was until after the fact when you already had a "confession". Girl chased that clout and lost. How can he consent to "cuddling" if he was drunk, she didn't ask the question... Social media fugged y'all so bad up. Sounds like they're all like 11/12 y/o instead of 18+... holy cow.
Wow if Katie’s idea of an invitation wasn’t absolute twisted BS, then I would’ve been arrested three times now. Notice how her only evidence is strictly limited to her feelings that she supposedly hid on the inside until after the party. What a publicity leech
Their fans are mostly children with absolutely 0 concepts of adult social interactions and relationships. They think they know cause they dated someone in 9th grade lol.
Sounds like a situation where Caiti recounted the story to someone or a group of people who questioned it and started her spinning on it. It happens sometimes. She's still young and probably doesn't realize that sometimes people have ulterior motives for trying to get you to think terribly of a situation you initially didn't think too hard about.
one of her friends was on tiktok a few days before implying that dream knew about the alleged assault and was 'enabling' george (who's name she didn't state, but said was 'worse than wilbur'), when one of the first things proved by ANOTHER one of caiti's friends (ghostie, who was actually paid by caiti's mother to keep an eye on her) was that dream had no idea what happened that night. she was absolutely manipulated by those friends imo.
its insane to me that an 18 year old in a completely consensual setting is being called a victim because she regrets her decision to be with george that night and i dont even like george
I still don’t understand the constant bringing up of her age? She’s 18?? If an older woman dates an 18 year old man no one cares. The double standard is wild.
ex cheated on me with someone who is 20. Shes 31. Nobody really cared other than saying she wont get far with him cuz they are so far in age. I said i liked an 18 year old as a 26 year old and suddenly everyone i knew said i was nuts and how it was ew and bad. making me feel like some sort of pedo or predator or groomer...
I remember seeing someone on twitter talk about how they were underage at 24 and people *agreed* with her rather than laugh her down. Twitter is fucking wild man.
The ONLY people you´d ever cuddle with without expecting anything sexual are friends you´ve known for a long time and each of you know there´s nothing going on. It would be not just incredibly stupid, but downright ignorant to expect nothing sexual from cuddling a stranger of the opposite sex pretty much shortly after meeting them. I remember even as a teen I wasn´t this stupid, even while drunk.
i don’t agree with caitis actions but i also think this way of thinking is harmful. it is always harmful to assume. If you are planning on cuddling someone for sexual reasons I believe it should be very clearly voiced. Just my opinion.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work either. So many regular people face criminal charges and even convictions from false accusations. If anything, being famous helps more as you can actually defend yourself. A friend of mine got accused of rape, despite being gay, and spent 6 months in prison before it was revealed she lied.
The "being 18-years-old" as a device to infantalize and absolve oneself of responsibility and to unfalsify all the feelings statements and fact claims being made is the most aggravating aspect of this whole thing. So she wants the protection given to the innocence of a child while also having the liberty of a full-grown adult beyond her age to put herself in adult situations and to engage in underage drinking at the same time. That's the ultimate having your cake and eating it too.

I hate cancel culture. A pretty woman cries out on twitter to the public that she's been assaulted, and everyone believes her blindly. Engagement farming is wild.
Women who make these sort of allegations deserve jail, multiple years. Only delusion or narcissism could make someone ok with ruining another's life for clout
@@highbread817 Unfortunately, the problem there is that it's insanely hard to prove they did it. Same reason proving libel/slander is generally quite difficult.

I guarantee theyre still saying the same thing right now and i have never even checked any of those subreddits before. Reddit is just Twitter lite at this point just with most of them being some form of antisocial
Okay, you finally said it, but in that whole story about some girl named Caiti, I kept wondering why it was being emphasized over and over she was 18. I was thinking did I miss something and the age of consent go up while I wasn't looking? Someone in their mid-twenties hooking up with an eighteen year old isn't that uncommon or as far as I know, frowned upon. You're old enough to know going to someone's hotel room to play games and drink is likely going to lead to sexual behavior. If you aren't comfortable with that, then best not to go or at the very least make that crystal clear with your words, not just looking at your phone.
@@magical571 if you still believe Caiti, even after watching this video and doing the research (you haven't) check yourself into the nearest psych ward ASAP. It may be your first ever human interaction, but it will be beneficial, for you and many other people. I promise.
Im absolutely DISGUSTED by ANYONE that falsely accuses other people of SA. Because when REAL VICTIMS seem justice they are brushed to the side and treated like exaggerators. Any “woman” that falsely accuses someone of SA is DIRECTLY and ABSOLUTELY opposed to the rights of women and children who fight for the right to have autonomy of their bodies without the use of lethal force. If you know someone like this, disown them. They are destroying the system that supposedly is in place to protect those who need it.
Thank you! Going through the Justice system as a survivor is already hell enough. From how invasive and traumatizing it can be to how long it takes to get through court, to the medical aspect, being scrutinized, being judged and the risk of losing support from supposed friends. It's needed to put all facts on the table but it's extremely traumatizing. So using this as an springboard for clout and attention is outright evil. It's not a good thing that when someone is accused of SA on the internet, my first reaction is "Oh another one? Huh." And I feel horrible as a survivor
I am so sick of people blaming their bad decisions on each other. Drinking under 21 is a bad decision, sexual encounters while intoxicated is a bad decision. Drunkenness does not turn you into another person, it turns your inhibitions down. It makes you do things you 'may' later regret. It just takes a little effort to push through the haze and focus, which is a buzz kill, I get it. Don't engage with people flirtatiously while drunk, it just leads to stuff like this.
thats 100% true, if you are talking about a man. men live under this notion. nobody is acting like if we got drunk at 19 and then hooked up with a girl that we were SA/r*ped. it ONLY goes that way with women and even then only pretty recently. in 2005, 20 year olds getting drunk and hooking up wasnt something that made you a victim. but people are VERY weak so now, at least with women, if they change their mind literally EVER then it becomes an attack!!!! 25 years later she decides she wasnt really into you? fuck bro, youre a r*pist now.
Yeah the alcohol blaming just sounds stupid. Let me go snort some drugs and then drive home. Nothing bad will happen and even if it does I will blame drug dealers. If you put yourself in bad positions then there is a possibility of bad consequences. Common sense these days is just abysmal.
Actually, this sort of behavior totally makes sense for someone who has zero sexual experience. Thinking cuddling is platonic because you don't know better. Thinking people can read your mind, should know your boundaries without expressing them. But this is more of an issue with casual sex generally, and certainly shouldn't have been use to try to get victim clout.
tbh i was thinking the same thing, 18 isnt taken seriously by anyone who is 20 and older. like its still a kid and from that standpoint, i think a 26 year old dude should know better. hella off putting with all the comments being like shes and adult, like girl has just finished studying, thats a child.
yes and no, i dont think most people assume snuggles --> sex automatically. Also fun facts, her constantly emphasising everything with "i was Drunk!!" is really funny, because even the collegiate title IX process disregards substance use on both sides of any allegations, so why did she think it was a valid excuse?
@@cryzals2953 did you watch the video? He didn't know her age and assumed that at youngest she was 21 since she had been drinking with people that he knew to be over 21, how would he 'know better'? Thanks for making this video Tom. This situation is so dumb. I’m 34 now, I first slept with a girl when I was 13 or 14, she was a year older. Damn I’m glad Twitter & screen recording didn’t exist during my teenage years. These kids have absolutely no life experience at all. They cuddled, that’s it.

it is, but what can you believe when people come online talking out of their ass about things people are supposed to take seriously? people really don’t take SA and trauma seriously anymore because of these horrible, lying, clout seeking people.
@andyvail269 it's the opposite, it's taken so seriously now that mere accusations are enough to ruin someone's life, if it wasn't taken seriously no one's life would be ruined by unsubstantiated accusations because people wouldn't care, because it isn't taken seriously.

Everything is so seen as an extreme now. It's no more bad experiences, all of it is SA. There are no more bad boyfriends, it's manipulator, groomer or abuser. No more lying, it's all gaslighting.
Eh for the chronically online people maybe. I can tell you about all the mistakes I made in dating guys. You know the reason most those cases don't make it anywhere is BECAUSE they lack evidence and/or are provably false allegations? So yea, it's literally because of her. But the data she is talking about is highly skewed data, becsuse someone CLAIMING to be an SA victim is all it takes to be counted as one of the ones that "didn't make it to trial"
More specifically the study she is getting that data from completely ignored the reasons why they didn't go any where, and the data is practically useless.

When I heard about them I was confused asf. Cause I was convinced he was gay. So hearing him “SA a girl” just sounded like a instant lie
Same story for George as well
Like you can tell even for those who had no drama they really toned down on content because honestly they made so much and probably got tired of minecraft at well at some point.

Caiti is a classic example of people who use serious allegations for clout - making it much harder for genuine victims to ever be believed.

I feel like Americans really infantilise young women (18+), which is what causes situations like George’s. Her main point is that she was “freshly 18”, when that has no bearing on the situation at all. She’s acting like that makes him a paedo, but she was literally a legal adult. America has literally nothing to do with anything. It's idiots all over the world making silly arguments like that.

Yes, the whole age thing really annoys me. He didn't know her age, but even if he did, she was still 18, nothing illegal happened. There are hundreds of 18 year old girls making porn videos every week with older men, and nobody seems to care. Yet this dude touched her stomach, and everyone is supposed to all act like it's some horrendous event. She's an adult now, she doesn't get to turn that off and on whenever she likes because she's "freshly 18". I feel bad for this generation of kids. It's freaking wild out there. People are just waiting to pounce and call you a sexual predator.
im not trying to defend anyone but that is just a dumb comparison. something being "illegal" doesn't always mean it's "immoral". especially considering drinking at age 18 is completely normal behavior.

If these situations continue to occur, and people who have literally 0 life experience, and are mentally unwell - are controlling the narratives.. we will be in a very dangerous position potentially irl going forward. (To say the least)
It also doesn't help that this prevents REAL SA victims coming out with stories, in fear of backlash.

Their fans are teenagers and they are deranged.
Because unfortunately now a days, no public response = admitting guilt
@@angellike4344 I get that part, it's the demands and criticism for not posting public apologies for things that go on in people's private lives.
@@AAJillSandwichI'll take it one step further and say none of this deeply private and interpersonal shit should be brought to the public in the first place
A lot of them are too wrapped up in this PC Twitter crowd and think it reflects real life or there youtube audience in reality it doesn't and at most they could just make a statement on Twitter debunking these false claims instead they make videos blowing up the allegations even more and doing these fake gay apologies. Most online personalities are just horrible at handling these situations
It’s pretty bad that I don’t believe any accusations anymore.
it is, but what can you believe when people come online talking out of their ass about things people are supposed to take seriously? people really don’t take SA and trauma seriously anymore because of these horrible, lying, clout seeking people.
So far, you are the only two people I've seen with this sentiment, so it's not "people" as in everone but some of you. @@andyvail269
Yeah, sometimes I wonder what goes on in people's mind.
@andyvail269 it's the opposite, it's taken so seriously now that mere accusations are enough to ruin someone's life, if it wasn't taken seriously no one's life would be ruined by unsubstantiated accusations because people wouldn't care, because it isn't taken seriously.
@@AmonAnon-vw3hr mh, I mean, it depends actually. Like looks at the guy who owned the rape island : he's still doing okay
Twitter be wanting people to consent like those Barber TikToks “hello hi how are you! I’ll be cutting your hair today, oh is it okay if I touch you?” 😂
Bro that barber wifie is annoying AF as it is lmao
Hello! I'll be taking your order today. But first, do you consent to talking with me? And also, do you consent to me touching the plates of food youll be eating tonight?
@@twincherries6698 OMG
Everything is so seen as an extreme now. It's no more bad experiences, all of it is SA. There are no more bad boyfriends, it's manipulator, groomer or abuser. No more lying, it's all gaslighting.
Eh for the chronically online people maybe. I can tell you about all the mistakes I made in dating guys. The majority of my ex's where pretty much just guys trying to figure out their own life and what they wanted while exploring it with me. And well stuff just happened that made it not work. Like one figuring out he was into guys only and I can tell you, I ain't a guy.
I am actually still friendly with a majority and often give advice on regular life stuff cause we're friends first. Helping each other out is just normal in my opinion.
@@junrobin9335 Yeah I'd agree.
