LANDING A CIVILIAN AIRCRAFT AT A MILITARY AIR BASE

  • We were vectored away from the fast military traffic (mostly PC-21s) - some of which we held up on our slow 70kt IAS final with a 26kt headwind at one stage. What a nice long runway!
    And yes we were there to test fly the PC-21 (see separate video).
