In a 3-day stretch of some two dozen live acts, this was my absolute favorite. It needs to be mentioned here that the bassist is the great Bridget Kearney of Lake Street Dive! A wonderful surprise.
Its a silly thing but its so cool seein someone play rock music and smiling at the same time. Margaret has that energy that makes you feel better in a couple seconds
Why isnt Glaspy a household name? She's amazing. I hope her new album gets the attention she deserves.

The vibe of this raw 3 piece band is so right. I don't even sense a drop of reverb; it's simple perfection of song writing and performance with nothing hiding, nothing obscured. I absolutely love it.
Margaret always has awesome drummers. Love the enthusiasm!

I hope this new band tighten up to be as cool as the other two guys. They were so tight and subtle, understated but holding the groove in the pocket. I long for a rhythm section like that.

As her song (last one) says, she got back to what's good. The previous record had approximately zero of her guitar playing on it, and also was released right into the COVID-19 shutdown of touring.
