I've been thinking for a while that The Gifted takes place in that alternative future where all mutants end up going extinct in year 2023 thanks to the sentinels that Bolivar Trask's scientists started to create back in 1973, right after Mystique killed him in Paris. Just look at how much things seem to be worsening for mutants: the human society is getting more and more oppressive and everyday there are more mutants slaughtered, oppressed, killed, tortured and experimented on and things only get worse no matter how much mutants try to make it better. This could be also happening in the same timeline created after Logan travels back in time to prevent Mystique from killing Trask, the future that leads to the Logan movie in 2029, when almost all mutants are extinct due to some poison Zander Rice put in the food fabricated by his industries and the only surviving mutant is Laura/X23 (Wolverine's clone). Either way, things only seem to get worse for mutants no matter which timeline we are

@@alexanderplatypus3664 Yeah I kinda see that, but I guess what made me think it was a possibility was because he dies in the comics pretty early, so it would have made sense.
I seriously want a mutant who can speak to dead people and have Jace’s daughter talk to him and tell him how disappointed she is in him and that he isn’t her father and her father would never have stooped to such lows . I need to see him suffer , I don’t care what he’s been through . He put himself in this mess
+Alexander Platypus They're a real threat, just because they don't possess the advanced weaponry the army has they are not less threatening, it's still not a good reason to underestimate them. Hate groups have the power of persuasion and in a society where mutants are hated, any hate group can become a real threat for the hated/oppressed group and let's not forget that the Underground won this fight because Marcos easy smart enough to admit that they couldn't win on their own and because he dialed Lorna's number to ask for hers and Andy's help
+Alexander Platypus But remember that not all the mutants are lucky enough to be part of an organized team like the Inner Circle, many of them don't have gifts useful enough to be used in battle and some others don't have a better choice than joining the Underground or living on their own. That's why the Inner Circle should include into its agenda a mission destined to take care of the Purifiers, that would be a big help to all the vulnerable mutants out there who don't have any organization or someone that can protect them
@@95maferisturiz Sure. I'm pretty confident the Inner Circle will destroy the Purifiers eventually. I'm actually amazed they haven't tried doing that more yet, although the Frosts did mention how they should've killed Jace before when seeing him on TV
Is it just me or is Caitlin's plan to the destroy the inner circle the most stupid thing ever? Andy's like "You really think I'm going to abandon everything I believe in" Caitlin's conclusion is "The only way we're getting him back is if we destroy everything he believes in, then he'll want to come back" Which brings me back to another tragic and kind of funny thing. Andy wanted to make them understand, but to put it mildly that failed pretty hard xD now they wanna fight him more than ever.
She figures the only way to get Andy back is to get him out from Reeva's influence. Not that easy of course- even killing Reeva might just make Andy pick up the torch now and become the new leader of the Circle. It's possible that he's too far gone to save after this episode, but Caitlin is his mother. She has to try.
@@WhiteFangofWar Too far gone is a matter of opinion, I happen to root for him so I don't see it that way, and I would think it would be great if he became a leader of the Inner Circle (or a new organization)

@@alexanderplatypus3664 Yeah I kinda see that, but I guess what made me think it was a possibility was because he dies in the comics pretty early, so it would have made sense.
This was such an intense scene
this scene is just awesome 💚💛💜
I want season 3
I seriously want a mutant who can speak to dead people and have Jace’s daughter talk to him and tell him how disappointed she is in him and that he isn’t her father and her father would never have stooped to such lows . I need to see him suffer , I don’t care what he’s been through . He put himself in this mess
Suzette1122 THIS
he wouldn't buy it.
Captin America : Get ready for the big battle against Thanos...
Me : *grabs pistol*
This one is🔥🔥
This was my favorite episode and scenes. The Purifiers pay for what they done in "Aftermath" 😃😁😀👍👌🤘🤗
It just makes me laugh that Purifiers were ever considered a real threat to mutants, but yeah
@@95maferisturiz Well they are more a threat to isolated individual mutants but not to organized teams
Polaris with that tank is looks like magneto with the submarine scene.
ezequiel barrientos OMG YESSS
Is it just me or is Caitlin's plan to the destroy the inner circle the most stupid thing ever?
Andy's like "You really think I'm going to abandon everything I believe in" Caitlin's conclusion is "The only way we're getting him back is if we destroy everything he believes in, then he'll want to come back"
Which brings me back to another tragic and kind of funny thing. Andy wanted to make them understand, but to put it mildly that failed pretty hard xD now they wanna fight him more than ever.
Caitlin saying stupid plans is nothing new though
I'm just glad she got along with Andy so well earlier on
@@alexanderplatypus3664 I agree
She figures the only way to get Andy back is to get him out from Reeva's influence. Not that easy of course- even killing Reeva might just make Andy pick up the torch now and become the new leader of the Circle. It's possible that he's too far gone to save after this episode, but Caitlin is his mother. She has to try.
@@WhiteFangofWar Too far gone is a matter of opinion, I happen to root for him so I don't see it that way, and I would think it would be great if he became a leader of the Inner Circle (or a new organization)
This was my favorite scene 💖😻
2:33 aparece en la promo del 2x11 parece que lauren va por los purificadores. Andy would be pround
Anyone else want to talk about how Lorna and Marcos are like awesome together
3:25 pray for Ted Wilson 😂🤣😃😄😅
I don’t he can burn with Jace
Wow macose and Ronah thanks for acting l love guys
I can't wait to see season 3 big up to macose and Ronah nice couple God bless you all
I know John getting shot isn't cool but when John was trying to tell him not to shoot him, "Alight. Hey, buddy...wait-" I thought that was kinda funny.
i love this episode
omg John survived countless gun shot
Yasss blink omg yassss
Right... about time she showed us another element to her portals
Fredy Lux ne diyon lan ajzjqbsıqbxj
I’m sad this show ended the guy at 0:58 I felt like was gonna become a good guy or have powers - and felt like reed was gonna come back somehow like dark Phoenix
Is the gifted coming to Singapore? It's been awhile since it showed up.. After the first season, the show hasn't showed up for a few months :(
Jaces actor is great imo
YAS THEY REUNITE!!!
Amaziing...
I never liked Jace. I knew he was going to go full on bad guy.
1:38 me dolió hasta el alma
i think how this season is called "dawn of the mutant age" season 3 if it happens will be called something like "Rise of DeSTRUCTo" or "Fenris Rising"
Andy looks like Draco Malfoy
Lauren tiro esa puerta y no habia nadie MUTANTE DEL AÑO
Se estaba asegurando de que no hubiese nadie :v
Where can I watch this online? Is there a specific site?
