My Dad has the same car, only it's an '09. He loves it. I love it! You couldn't have put it better than I would in your words. It's absolutely amazing.
I think people don't purchase this car because it is more on the expensive side for a compact suv. For the price you can get a lot more from other suvs. I absolutely love my 2014 Tiguan SEL and wouldn't trade it after owning a BMW X3 and having so many issues!
I’ve never owned a Volkswagen aside from some of the issues you’ve had would it be a car you would recommend. I’m in the market for one appreciate your time.
@@Jakeman21642 Purchased one I would greatly appreciate any advice in regards to maintenance etc. I got an extended warranty much appreciate your advice and time.
That's what I do in my Accord. Still nice to have the option of factory nav because its so well integrated and gives you turn by turn directions on the display between the gauges.
I'm always listening to streaming audio so Google just speaks the directions over the cars stereo which prevents me from needing to look at the screen.
Actually nobody got ripped because the warranty paid for it all (which I'm pretty sure I said in the video).. And yeah its $83 for just the part alone if you go to the first offbrand result that pops up on google. That doesn't include labor, shop charges, all the coolant that leaked out or anything else.

just got 2011 Tiguan. In 2 months I've put 6,000 miles on it. I love this vehicle.
I forgot to mention my 06 passat has 240k and other than some minor items and a broken acc belt it has been trouble free.
Passats go forever, my parents have a 2010 TDI one with 155,000kms and it drives like new
Admire your dad's vehicle, I have a 2009 Tiguan TDI(Australia) love it! Want a jetta next

I didn't think Tiguans were available in the USA at first, but apparently yes they are. But you see more of them in Germany where I live.
I wish we had the TDI in the U.S. But we have the 2.0 gas version.
I have a Golf 2001 1.8t with 313000km I drive it everyday all year round in - 45 degree winters and it’s perfect i love my golf

Don't buy one. This was hands down the most unreliable and worst car my family has ever owned. These things are dirt cheap now for a reason.

Lies my uncle has one with35000 miles and the turbo is blown my accord has 198000 miles on it and needs nothing
I've been looking at a used Tiguan so seeing how one handles in traffic is very helpful. Do you know how they handle with snow?
This is hands down the best vehicle that I have ever driven in the snow with 4Motion.
