  • PJ goes through some of his favorite things about his new Korkers Darkhorse wading boots.
In addition to being able to change soles, you can also just purchase the triple threat hardware for different configurations.

Hey thanks for this video. What size foot/shoe do you normally use?

I normally wear a 10.5 to 11, I got my Dark Horses in a 13. The 12 fit ok, but I needed more room up front so I went to a 13. I would definitely try them on with your waders.

I just bought these. Watching some people reviews on them and everything. I’m excited to try these out. Have you tried out the felt soles on them yet on slick rocks? If so, how good did they do compared to the metal bar soles you showed in this video? I fish in a lot of rocky/slick areas. Thanks for the info!

I have! The felt compares favorably to my previous pair of felt Simms boots. The metal bars though are a step up in terms of stability and grip. They really bite through algae and grime and moss on slick rocks. I've never used the plain rubber soles they come with except for hiking long distances to a fishing spot--I've read a bunch of reviews that say they are really slick.

Great boots; I have a pair. Nice hat. Ugly shirt.
