- In March, the grasses are tall and the nightingales are in the air.
At this time, there will always be harvest when going to the mountain to dig vegetables.
So I hand-forged a simple hoe to dig fish mint and allium chinense in the mountain.
Fish mint just grows tender shoots, it is crunchy and tender and good taste for making cold dish.
Wild allium chinense are sweet and delicious,it is suitable for being stir-fried with smoked pork.

带着刚刚手工制作的小挖锄，出发喽！
折耳根刚长出嫩芽，又脆又嫩，凉拌味道极佳
野生藠(jiào)头清甜可口，适合拿来搭配油烟味重的腊肉，很是合适！

for those who don't know chinese, every time when xiaoxi made a new thing, he marks with ‘’囍‘’ ,in chinese is 'xi' which means happy, also the logo of xiaoxi.

I learned basic forging when I was at school, more than 60 years ago, so I know how hard the work is.
Working to this precision is not easy, and requires continuous, dedicated, concentration.
My guess is that XiaoXi inherited his tools, and his skills were passed down from his father, which is unusual these days, as most young men want to go to the city, and become IT experts.
If they do, they exchange an 'idyllic' lifestyle for noise, crowding, and pollution of the city.
I think this delightful combination of handicraft, linked to cooking must be unique on youtube.👍
