So I just went through this 5 part journey, you did an amazing job. Thank you for the detailed explanation on your sub-circuits, you should consider teaching electronics on the side, you have the right everything for it. I am a novice tinker (who just recently completed his 4th from scratch PCB) and am in awe at your clean approach to PCB designs: short traces, large empty space (I appreciate that you refrained from filling with silkscreen logos), and matte black mask). I’ve learned for much about flow and placement from studying your project schematics and your PBD design tip video. I mention all of this so you know I truly mean it when I say thank you for sharing your skill set. Also you should consider sharing the schematic for this build as well, you have me intrigued how you set up your centralized R pull up/down array, first time I saw that design approach. Thank you
Wow! Thank you for such an amazing compliment! I am glad I was able to provide you with any help/ideas at all! Keep designing PCB's, it is so much fun! If you want the schematics, you are welcome to have them. Everything I do is open source, just haven't gotten around to finishing it. I usually share things I finished and fully tested. Send me a DM (mail is in "About") and I will add you to a private repo for now. Thanks again!
Thanks Andy! I ordered one of those security camera joysticks... I might need a GPIO-expander though, because I'm short of GPIO's :) Or I might use a ATtiny in I2C device mode with some custom firmware...
Leuk kanaal opzich, maar wat ik niet begrijp is dat er juist een zwaar overschot is in gelijkwaardige Engelstalige kanalen en tekort aan NL talig. En toch zit menig Nederlander ingewikkeld Engels te doen.
Nice to see the outside silde by. i can see flyby videos of your pcbs from now on.
Or a moving time-lapse of me soldering a board...
Nice, must get back to my camera slider project.

@@DustinWatts thank you for the offer to share your repo. Sent you my email address over Reddit (incase you don’t check it often)
Looks very cool, the joystick will be fun ! I will be interested how you deal with acceleration and stuff in software......cheers.

Nice work
Thanks
great project, thanks for sharing your journey!
You are welcome!
super cool :)
Thank you 🤗

How moutch is a mOhm normel it is just i Ohm.
1 miliOhm is 0.001 Ohm. So the resistors I mentioned are 0.110 Ohm.
