Growed up without a father.
Making an effort to learn masculinity by myself
Jyan Machia Welcome to the majority 😂
Jyan Machia Same here brother.
Jyan Machia I have a father, but i do not spend much time with him, so we're on similar boats
The great thing about your comment is you can decide what kind of man you want to be. That's what I did for myself in the same situation. This guy will help you along the right path.
More power to u bro
We should teach more about toxic feminity of today.
Or just tell em to shut the hell up and stop listening to nonsense.
Ignore it. Move on.
just Marcin DAY UMM straight
i was literally just going to type this. the real issue is toxic femininity brother. its a real bad problem in america today
The damage has been done with women it is what is I predict by 2030 women will be played out because of the introduction of the artificial womb U can’t unfuck over 100 years of feminism but what u can do as good men is help boys become men with red pill of knowledge of how the world really works trying to change women is like trying to talk to a wall your wasting your time spend your time helping boys and men cuss remember it’s us against everyone else NO ONE gives a Fuck about us brotherhood is all we have left
I would add a 4th:
Stay educated, well informed, and learn to think critically.
Critical thinking is probably the most important...then they'd realize how dumb this dude's rant is lmao
@@QuinnTheChin
I don't think he has bad intentions.
The delivery could have been a little more refined, but the message is not negative.
@@TheMonrrou it's not overtly negative, but the entirety of it is a misunderstanding of the arguments surrounding toxic masculinity and, in general, what it means to be masculine. Masculinity is a loaded word and by demanding that boys be more masculine, we're implying that 'feminine' things are lesser. Women make up roughly 50%-- how are we supposed to discount that? (And that's to say that women are all feminine; they're not) Further, a lot of our masculine traits are determined be culture. The Iroquois, for example, were governed by women. Would they be saying that men had no room in their politics? Wouldnt their conceptions of 'femininity' (and masculinity) be very different? If we look at other cultures, it becomes painfully obvious that these things (masculinity and femininity) are culturally constructed, and if we're limiting the contributions of half the population, then isnt our culture wrong? Clinging to masculinity is ridiculous and the idea of "turning boys to men" through masculinity is contributing to a toxic culture, one that devalues the feminine, one that stupidly indoctrinates people with corrupted media and leaves us with garbage like this-- a dude trying to make up for his high voice with a beard and a rant about being a 'man'
- a guy
Let's just teach our kids something
That our parents didn't, to make them better than us

Matt Montegomery ye
I’m a strong, well educated, independent woman and I agree 100% with what you’re saying. Telling a 5 year old that they’re toxic is terrible, and will do more harm than anything. My father was a tough, old school man who worked his ass off for my brothers and me. He made me feel safe, confident, and loved. He also taught me how to fight off an attacker, shoot a gun, change the oil in my car, change a tire, and gave me a toolbox and a handgun when I got my first apartment. He showed my brothers how to be “real” men; good, strong, self sufficient men who treat their wives and other women with respect but don’t apologize for who they are. Boys need men around them. If it’s not their father then other men should step in.
I wish everyone had a dad like mine.

It's refreshing to see someone talking about masculinity on youtube, without being a mgtow or pick up artist.
Mgtow was just a response to the extremist feminism currently plaguing us. There's no such thing as toxic masculinity though.. masculinity is beautiful.
As a woman I find this awesome.
Ryan Holidays book, “the obstacle is the way” got me through one of the hardest moments in my life. I would listen to it over and over on Audible for days. I recommend it. Ace Degenerate your comment is dumb
@Ace Degenerate you judge the guy because he'd rather spend time with his kid than trying to keep uo with the Jones. Great
They already have been teaching 5 year old boys about "toxic masculinity" through TV, movies, music, and in school. Often not overtly, but very subtlely and often.
That's true. The only things kids are learning are the extremes. Hollywood shows them either extremely aggressive men or incompetent and homosexual men.
Sooner or later, you gotta show your kid the bible and explain how the world is evil and run by the devil.
Mark Flierl good observation. Yes. All to subtle.
You need to counter that. Find male mentors for your son. And become a mentor to him. You need to show him that it's great to be a boy and a man. That the bullshit political propaganda doesnt care about his well being in the long run. Masculinity is something that we need in this world. Without it we are as good as done as a species.
True story bro
Glad this wasn’t a rant about “toughening kids up” with what mostly could be described as breaking them down with bullying until they turn into bitter hateful angry people. I agree that kids in general need guidance in matters like this as otherwise they can be suddenly overwhelmed by the stresses of adulthood. I agree that without a positive male role model they can take the wrong path. My dad wasn’t about much when I was young but the father’s of my close friends were good role models who helped shape me into what I am today.
You don't toughen someone up by bullying them if your talking about stopping your sons growing up to be pussies then it's not bullying
I think thats the shit that makes the femmies call masculinity toxic. Some think masculinity is being a big chest beatinbg loud mouth bully.
@@jakenicholaides3214 yall have some backwards 1950s thinking.

@@secondeye1574 No wonder you have no name.
@@steampunkastronaut7081 no wonder you have no argument
This is 100% accurate. I am a paraprofessional to a boy with a lot of anger issues, which therapists were claiming he was emotional unstable and put him on prescription drugs. After I began working with him, of course with a lot of patience because he was constantly angry and defiant, he matured and no longer needs meds or the help of his therapist to cope. He has no father and I knew that this had to be the root of his problem, with me by his side he felt like he had that leader there to guide him. He is now working hard in his studies and is taking his time to work on his low temperament. I've been a great help to this boy and we have developed the much needed Father/Son bond he desperately needed. Men aren't so bad in the world after all.
Glad you're working on this important issue.
Get him in martial arts
scott Kelley Agreed. Athletics as a whole is a great step, not only is it good for their health, but they can form friendships and bonds in a friendly and competitive community. And teach them how to do things like home repair and improvements. Teach them how to fix your own dam brakes on their car so they don’t have to pay a huge amount of money for someone else to do it. Teach them to use their hands and not depend so much on other people.
I agree. As a young shy teen, I worked in maintenance with other grown men. It really helps you develop confidence. The knowledge that you can fix things on your own, is something you can’t replace.

He's quite wrong actually. He thinks toxic masculinity is an indictment of men when it's an indictment of a cultural belief about men.

"Be constructive, not destructive". Love this. Thank you
Take accountability and responsibility.
Do the right thing.
Be awesome.
Reminds me of how young male elephants without older male elephants ( killed off by poachers) will be more aggressive and destructive. I grew up without a father (in my case my father died, yet it has some of the same problems of just being neglected) what a burden that can be in the long run just trying to figure things out. Thank God for men who do for their sons in the way you've laid out. If someone brings a life into this world they owe them that much.
Lee Davenport I am not an elephant, I agree. There is differences. Though to learn from other forms of life is always possible. Besides I found it interesting and wanted to share it, seemed like a good spot to bring it up. And life has a way of programming us, I also agree then that I have programming to work through that may be harmful. In fact I agree very much that we (me too of course) can be hypnotized by many things, and believe things without qustion. Did I miss something here with regards a basic attitude or thought? I'm I being one sided? Maybe I sound like I'm saying we should trust blind comformity, just because it is more smiled upon by the group, more tamed? I like Confucius type respect for my elders, to a degree, yet I believe young Chinese began to be manipulated and pushed around unjustly by the tradition at some point. I try not to be black and white on life and there is always context to consider. Thank you for bringing this up, I think there is something there to consider.
Lee Davenport I just want to add that my father died when I was young, he was from a world now gone, I'm 40, he died at 56 in 1987. Cancer. Be for he got real sick he was very hard on me, I believe I was carrying wood twice my sizes around the time I could walk, he was set to make me a man, he would beat on me for the smallest reasons and I spent a lot if time hiding beneath the bed and such. I was 8 when he passed, leaving his education (?) mid driff and me maybe damaged and confused, so I know education of that sort, even with good intention can do harm (you shouldn't beat on a child and one could die without completing the task of making one's son tough, if it is tough, to the brutal sides of life, leaving just a mess). Like wise I hate a billboard in our town of John Wayn which has the quote "I don't like a quiter son" because who knows how someone will take it and be ironically discouraged and estranged from the community instead of encouraged or inspired (another possibility to be fair). Someone paranoid, and broken may be effected by the sign in a way someone with a different circumstance maybe effected. I don't believe that is weak sentiment, but practical consideration, the world is a tower of Bable and real time understanding is always better then generic hype.

Great video. Everyone needs to see this. Rock on 🤘
So true I’m coaching multiple sports it’s amazing how many broken homes there are. Remember some of these boys take more time who knows what they have been through. Don’t give up on them it’s amazing to watch them transform. It takes love and patience through understanding to break down the barriers. Children are a mirror image of there surroundings what are we influencing? And why?
Isn’t it weird that most of the things that considered as “manly” are merely the common sense of what people should do? For example being a good role model or teaching children how to be responsible. I do not think that anyone within its right mind, believes that fathers or mothers should ignore their children and I seriously do not believe that anyone calls these obvious bad behaviours Toxic Masculinity. I believe there are misunderstanding of terms. Why would toxic masculinity mean something that is exteremely opposite of common senses?
Toxic masculinity is a cultural belief that men are inherently better leaders and should ignore emotional vulnerability as well as many other incorrect ideas about men.
Your first sentence is an interesting argument for gender being useless though. That's a fun one.
@@downsjmmyjones101 I didnt understand what you tried to say in 2nd paragraph
@@atakansakalli The idea that what is manly is shared among the genders is the first step. From there you can say that the genders share a lot more. Eventually gender starts to look pretty silly with all the similarities.
Well, feminists aren't wrong when they say society values men's traits more than women's. The difference is that they think that's bad.
@@yu_cp8978 I don't think society necessarily believes that. If anything men are at a point of self reflection because of so much damage caused by us, even our offspring, even our future men. You yourself is inherently making femininity a lesser to masculinity when they both go hand in hand.

All civilizations were built on men(except a couple small ones) it's male nature to lead, compete, dominate and conquer. To live life agressively. We are yang, and females are our opposites. Men need to be men, and women need to be women. The universe runs on balance afterall.
@@electrokinesis_9729 Finally people are starting to get it.
First video I've seen of you, brother. Well said & true words!
I feel that I'm doing a good job at all of these things but this video gives me the extra push to be great at all of them. Thank you!!
Yeah, man it's a power. Love what you are saying.
So the source of every true man is his father
**Fatherless child left the chat**
literally me
Ryder Wilson we’re here for you brother
My dad was fatherless and used the neglect as a way to be the exact opposite of what his dad was to me.
@Dr. Jekyll pretty good lol I was a punk teenager but grew out of that. Just be heavily involved in your child's life and reassure them that you're always there. Teach what you learned and learn from them what you need to work on yourself.
Find a good role model.
Then become what your father never was
Spot on brother, subscribed 👍
Just found this! Good word bro! Amen to the max!!
We sure do live in a society, gamers, kakyoin, and joker gangs rise up!
Also, teach them that society is going after them. Be proud of manhood and stay true.
This was good. Thank you.
Amen brother, keep on keeping on and teaching Truth.
I remember watching a program about elephants in an African game preserve where the older male elephants were culled or moved. The younger elephants started destroying things & occasionally killing a Rhino or other animal. Someone finally thought to bring in older males, guess what they calmed the young ones & things got way better no more running amok causing trouble.
Have you read Lord of the Flies?
I know several school principles & teachers they have told me of the bedlam in their classrooms caused by laws & protocols made up by legislators & other functionaries that limit what they can do as discipline. Teachers are not allowed to touch that is restrain, no grabbing a hand or arm, no blocking a child's egress or access to anything, if the child is threatening to kill or throwing things the teacher has to clear the classroom & leave the child in that room to do what he wants. In one instance a child who was "relatively" calm in the morning was on a morning only school. The grandparents raising him got lawyers (one of their specialties) to make the school take him for the entire day. This boy (grade school)has threatened to kill & has chocked an aid & has access to his grandparents guns. If a child is this much of a problem he/she can be suspended or moved to another school but if he has been diagnosed with any mental or etc.. problem nothing can be done. The teachers in one district know a couple of teens that most won't be surprised if they come shooting. Then there is a recent shooter who was known by kids , teachers & police to be a threat but a local politician w/cooperating police chief didn't do anything about him because their policy was not to arrest or cause a record to be made for kids so as not to impede their way into college. The last one was in the news. This is the result of our "liberal progressives" trying to craft a perfect world. We know how that's turning out & then some wonder why there are all these shootings.
God bless you, you are a man amongst men
Aaaaaand subscribed. Well spoken
Finally, a timely message that makes sense. Thank you.
As Jordan Peterson says: take on responsibility. "Lift a damn load!" That's what we crave
As a 15 year old without a father watching this kinda hits home as I dont really know what to do to become a real man
Yes you do
hey buddy i'm no parent by any means but you don't have to fit societys norms of "BECOMING A REAL MAN". be whatever the fuck you want to be. if you wanna wear a dress, you do that. if you want to wear a skirt, you do that. if you want to be gay, bi pan, or anything other than a typical cis straight male you FUCKING DO THAT. there is no such thing as a man but there is such thing as a......
human.
Thank you for making this video Sir.
Thank you. This helps me with my fatherless grandson. And my community.
This is the truth a real man has dreams and goals and persues them cause they know what they want in life
A boy works all there life unhappy complains about life tired angry
I don’t think feminists gonna like number three lol🤣
“Why do only men have to be the leaders?!?!?”
🤣🤣🤦🏽♂️
PhotoNinja I don’t agree with you, I think they don’t really know how to raise them and they are doing it wrong but they actually think they are doing the right thing, which is nonsense, how much do u actually think they know about masculinity and being a “man”?
I’ll tell you how much they know, all they know about it is that men are always supposed to “man up”, yet they raise their children like if they’re some kind of jinchuriki with the power to destroy everything at sight, and it really pisses me off because they don’t even know wtf they’re arguing for
Feminists are the one who caused this mess
Who gives a fuck what they think
At least we will know that we shouldn't listen to them
PhotoNinja Yes 💯
Female has a narrow mindset and male are open minded (for now). Some females want to take charge but to later come back to men to fix the mess. They use their pussy and it is powerful to male. Not that we are weak but we just dont mind them messing around things
Do you see the world? More and more leadership roles are being fulfilled by women, some are good but to purposefully choose women just because men are bad they say leads to what you see in the world todsy
Thank you for saying this out loud!!
Great video man. this matter is most urgent with this culture we're seeing, and the solutions proposed are spot on! engage, relate and uplift
