The depressing part about Mansell trying to push his car over the line, was that he still never finished the race anyway. But on the brighter side, he still scored 1 point for finishing 6th, so it may have still been worth it after all.

Lando's got an extra 300kg to push, Nigel's got an extra 15° air temp to deal with
Plus a race distance in that same extra 15 degrees.
If that was Qatar in 2023 Mansell would have died

for those who dont know, this was during when the temperature was 38 fucking degrees. He hit the wall in the last corner and the car slowed down. Losing power, he got desperate so jumped out of his car and started pushing it to the finish line. With the heat, effort pushing the car, and probably terrible dehydration (they didnt have a drink system that time), Mansell, as show in the video, collapsed and lost consciousness. there ya go thats the backstory

In a NORMAL race (20°C outside) the copit is 40°C. If the outside is 45°C in the copit it's around 80°C for one hour and you can't drink. How it is now.

@@Drew63 No, not exactly, the heart is pumping the same, but if your saidways when you spill liquid on flore is flat, which is faster then using the force tube going up, so then blood moves faster, not the heart
Simplification: Side position circulates blood faster then going up.
Why: Blood has mass, so the more blood, the more up it goes, but if that was turn sideways it would go faster because the blood would spill left and right, lets say it’s left, right side has more blood behind it so left Hka would be up, is spilling to the required area

That race in Dallas was pure hell. I was told Nigel Mansell lead the race, up to that very moment until his car gave up, and then he desperately jumped to push it to the finish line, but collapsing before finishing the race, losing what would have been the first victory of his F1 career. So if everything mentioned above is true, it sucks how life treated Mansell throughout his whole career, and I’m glad he never gave up and won the championship in 1992. For me he’s the only driver that topped Senna
