the athena 3rd ability phalanx should be able to block something like basic attacks, or grant some sort of protection inside the circle, it just feels underwhelming when all it does is damage.
Geb nerf was needed. 25% basic attack reduction on top of never being able to lose more than 20% in a single attack and 65% crit damage redcution while also being able to share this with allies was way too much. I think they could bring that basic attack reduction up to 10% and crit reduction to 70% but half the effects when given to an ally. So the 3 would give the cleanse, health shield, 5% basic attack reduction, 35% crit damage reduction, and can't lose more than 40% of health from a single attack(this is doubled not cut in half like the other stats) which is still a really strong ability. I honestly really love the pluses they gave him in Smite 2 especially the passive changes. He always felt like a decent pick up but that passive was the only thing that really held him back in Smite 1. It was too niche and didn't come into play most of the time. I think adding just the 20% cap would have been enough. I can't wait to see what they do with Hou Yi since that was another passive that was way too narrow. I think they should probably lean heavy into the anti-crit with Hou Yi. I'd make him damage immune while his passive triggers but have a cooldown of like 60 seconds where he gains a 50% all damage reduction if it triggers again while its on cooldown, maybe throw on a cooldown reduction when that happens. This gives him a very strong very niche passive.
As a long time top 3 Mulan Leaderboarder there's still work to be done. I'm still not sure how I feel about steering her ult. As it stand I prefer old ult, but I don't know of an elegant change. Maybe an ult aspect here is just due. We preserved her kit, but losing cc immunity on her grapple is going to be a tough one to solve. The move had it's own problems in smite 1 such as getting stunned just before getting your cc immunity. I wish I could think of how I'd change it to fix things. Grapple and total damage are definitely the most pressing issues
Idk why they don’t just make gebs passive be like 5% at base and scale with prots so that way damage Geb doesn’t get that much out of the passive but it still helps and tank geb gets a lot more value since he won’t be hitting as hard anyway. It would be the best solution imo
Your suggested change would create different issues, but it would solve some of his current overtuning. The problem with gebs prenerf passive wasn't just it's always on. His passive is granted to his shield target. Having a sharable passive is an inherently powerful ability for any God. One that mitigates so much damage is incredibly strong. I've seen quite a few different top players say they unanimously agree Geb #1, that is less true with this bonus balance than it was before. We shall see
Thebes got a buff too (not listed, max cap stacks increased 30 to 40). Odin's ultimate buff (If enemies die inside the ring, Odin gains permanent strenght, 5 per stack.. You have a limite to stack 10 times)
Ive got a feeling that Odin is going to end up like Mordred, where his aspect is just the Smite 2 change his base kit needed. He really just feels too simple, especially his leap and shield. I was just expecting more changes as a Smite 1 Odin main...
I'd love to see his spin to win return funnily enough. Even if it weren't completely great it would fit his bruiser style better and the way smite 2 is, he'd fit better too
@@DarkChibiWeebie maybe put the spin on his 2? Make it a recast after popping shield where he spends shield to empower a spinning strike. Could combo well into spear stun.
They're still hitting SunBeam my goat but I don't think it's enough, if they want to kill SunBeam I think the scaling would need to go down to 10% each projectile, cause a 20% increase to damage probably puts it more in line with the gain you'd get from other items. Can I just say I think Trans (and Thoth) are overrated (dare I say bad)? I see every player (including creators) thinking that it's a power bomb, but Trans is just 50 power and 10 pen. The pen is valuable but it needs to stack so by the time you evolve it it's not as effective. 50 Power is good but Trans has basically no other effect. Hydra has 45 str with cdr and a good passive, Crusher has 40 or 45 str with cdr and a good passive, Pendulum has 60 str and 15 cdr and a strong active (we've seen the power of Temporal Beads), Jotunns has 45 str (only 5 less than Trans) and a whopping 25 cdr with the deso passive too. Trans is just dogshit. Sure it converts 2% mana, so if you wasted a ton of stat efficiency into 5 other str/mana items you could turn the 50 Str Trans into a 60 Str Trans (most str mana items are 200 mana), but just buy Pendulum and you don't have to waste 5 item slots and gold just to get Trans to match the str of a single item. The only time I've bought Trans is in old seasons of S1 on Fen and Ullr because I actually need the mana, but if you don't run out of mana before backing then all the mana is technically a waste.
I like Learnean bow, but it needs a change. The stats and ability are good and fun, but the effectiveness as anti heal sucks. Just make the anti heal proc off autos and abilities like every other offensive anti heal option. You literally lose almost all of your anti heal effectiveness when you upgrade the components.
@@tntnuke659 yeah, it was pretty strong on loki, danza and you know the suspects. plus cdr made it even better for… still just those suspects. It just seems weak on everyone who doesn’t have specifically an ability to cater it.
Agni is fine, but he's not killing as much as other mages. Panitom himself said on a stream one of these days that pros aren't playing with Agni that much because it just feels like some damage is missing when compared to other midlaners.
Taking out what exactly? Geb had the most broken passive in smite history thus far and adc items are getting nerfed. Saying it’s not worth to build tank is absolute troll

Yea, like bellona 1
Fax.
Oh cool idea, maybe you can trade damage for blocking, like each minion blocks attack from that specific direction before dying
They could just giver her lower base cooldowns and she would be awesome. Her cooldowns are just way too high right now.

Good point
they should make geb's passve to have a cd every 4 s .atleast there would be some counterplay instead of having hp locks at 20%s
it is a lot easier to do beyond 20%max hp in a single instance of damage then you would think.

I think I hit a Mulan pull on an Anhur and he buffered it, ended up pulling him out of his fountain through the wall cuz this was arena
I have a feeling there not gonna like gods off rolling, the ra dmg should not have been nerfed that much that kinda kills the aspect ra a bit
Wait what mulan BUFFS?
I wonder how many people on ps5 are soft locked when they first open the game I was stuck on the claim founders dlc screen until I plugged in a mouse.

Heh, hitting for 2000 RA damage...
I'mma have to attempt the 2K RAAAAA power build.
Wait, is there a jungler item? Damn it, I shouldn't have trusted the auto builder.
Gasp
Nu wa needed the nerf i say nerf her again.
Your opinion on Hydras getting CD? I’ve been using it recently and it seems like a bland item (on 95% of physical gods)
Hell no
Doesn't it have 10 cooldown
Hydras autos are too good
