A magical island paradise awaits you on Lombok and Gili islands

- From Lombok to the Gili islands. This is part three of a four part series where we traveled to Lombok and stayed in a fantastic villa. We traveled by horse and cart to our next villa, which made it amusing. Horse and carts are still used as a form of transport in Lombok, it's not just for tourists.
We met some local kids excited to see our drone and went snorkelling to the incredible Gili islands. The turquoise tropical blue water was warm and unforgettable. We saw underwater statues, lots of beautiful fish, a ferry wreck and large sea turtles.
The villa Anandita is a fantastic luxury villa amazing, located on the beachfront with very comfortable rooms and beautiful food. It's great that you can hop on a boat and travel straight from your villa beach. We finished with a great sunset BBQ on the beach before venturing onto our next villa only a few doors down.

Lombok is truly my favourite island in Indonesia. I did the Gili Tours since I stayed around Sengiggi Beach. The Secret Gili Islands off the SW coast of Lombok was definitely worth a visit for sure

I lived 9 month in Gili Trawangan. It's like home for my wife and I. Those islands are amazing.

The only problem with rooms that big is your aircon dose absolutely nothing due to the size of the room and when you just wanna cool down unfortunately you can’t. Money well spent Hhhmmm 🤷♂️

The design is fairly odd. They place the things in the middle of the room. Probably because they have more windows than walls.
