Yes I’m glad you said this because Korean Beauty standards have not been kind to him and like you I agree with you, look at the whole picture people because the man is gorgeous.
Black Swan is them talking about fearing of losing their passion in music, fearing that one day music doesnt resonate to them anymore. They dont want to lose that passion. Black swan is a masterpiece! THANK YOU FOR REACTING! and oh! Memorizing their names through hair color doesnt actually helps, talking from experience 😅 The birth of an OT7!
 Yeaaah. First time I looked them up, I was thinking, 'At least it'll be easy to tell them apart, since they all have different hair....color. Well. That's not going to work!' Learning them by their voices was much better, and easier.
Their music and videos are pure visual and auditory works of art. So multilayered using their talents to perfection. That's why they are musically orthodox, equal among kings, no one member outshines the other. These haters who come in and try to tear BTS apart with Cesear's world of materialistic things, one is more handsome than the other, one's skin color is too dark. . . it's sheer noise, utter and complete nonsense. It's BTS. Indivisible. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Get with it haters.
“I don’t know who I like the most.” -- welcome to the ARMY life. We start with having a bias (favorite), but then a ‘bias wrecker’ comes on and confuses the hell out of us. Hence, we end up being OT7 (one to 7), meaning we like all of them. BTS is 7, and we stan all of them, rightly so. Now, you understand. 💜
Well I love them all but Jimin is my bias, I can’t help it 🙈 but I admire everyone of them because they’re exceptionally talented, funny, handsome…🥰 I’m so happy to have found them 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Not only is RM off the charts handsome, but he also helped write this masterpiece. He's just all around amazing. Thanks for recognizing his handsomeness! I really enjoy your reactions - you appreciate all aspects of their music!
the way I screamed when you said "i think i'm an army" jansj welcome buddy, i think we are in this bts sht forever,, thank you for the reaction i really enjoyed watching it, we really appreciate it 🌌💛
This is the song/performance/masterpiece that made me an ARMY, too. I watched this, reached the end, got my mouth to shut properly again, and said, "That's it, I'm in." Forever? Oh yeah. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Whoever said you “need” a bias is wrong. There are a lot of fans who don’t have a bias; if it happens it happens, if it doesn’t it doesn’t. As long as you respect all 7 and recognize that BTS is 7, its all good.
I'm so glad that since I first stan them or saw them 5 yrs ago, I never had a bias, like, that did not really happened to me. They are all so stunning in my eyes and feelings haha. I love them all so much, plus it is so good when u don't have bias I don't have to worry for this for that, damn! My men are so great! Until now, I am a solid OT7 and this is so damn good and happy for it!
True been with them since ‘13. At first I also thought I needed a bias, but after several comebacks I just decided f*** it. i can love them equally no problem, ot7 stan ftw.
How can I 'like' this comment 1000x? I always hate reading RUclips comments section that are full of solo stans. I am an Army first and foremost. When I first fell into the BTS rabbit hole in 2017, I watched a LOT of their content and followed their journey. ALL IN THEIR ENTIRETY, NOT SOME CHOPPED UP EDITED VIDEOS OF A SINGLE MEMBER. I love these guys (back then I used to call them 'boys' because I am WAY older than them, and also they were young lol). Only after a full year of being a fan and not having a bias, I finally realized that my bias is V. His warm honey voice in Spring Day cemented this, and I watched his growth from an awkward, weird and energetic boy to a confident, charismatic man. I just relate to his journey the most. But that does not mean I cannot relate to other 6 too! Every single one of them are BEYOND talented and amazing. But they also are not afraid to show everybody that they're human. This is what I feel is the biggest draw for me. So for new fans, PLEASE, YOU SHOULD NOT CHOOSE. They themselves have said it again and again, BTS IS 7.
ARMY's main crack on RUclips: Seeing a RUclips reactor hopping into BTS casually because their video was trending that one day, and then seeing them descend into madness trying to figure out who is their favourite a couple of months later.
In RM’s vLive, he talked about how he created this song. He watched the movie “Black Swan” many times and feel the pain as the ballet dancer, he then wrote this song. Even he doesn’t song many verse, this is RM’s song.
'Black Swan' refers to the internal struggle of a person who has become used to doing what he loves the most and how the taste he had for it has completely disappeared. For example, dancers have "their first death" when they stop dancing with the same love and passion that they did before and a singer dies when the sounds of a song no longer cause them any feelings. For this reason, it is that in a video where some dancers dance this song and at the beginning of the video they put a phrase that says: "a dancer dies twice... Once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the most painful" Edit: I hope you understand, I'm not good in English man, sorry if something is wrong ✌😊
Symptoms of becoming an army: - Recognizes all the member - Repeating over and over again - Gets wrecked by all the members - Tries to interpret their song and MV - Can't pick a favorite song - Liking a genre you don't usually listen to - Singing along I think you're definitely an army now lmao Always love your reactions 💜
It still makes me upset Black Swan not having the recognition it should, like, it's been over a year and it hit 300M what, last month? Not that it's little, but compared to other MVs... this is pure work of art in every way possible, it's perfection
@@Deasresa I was happily OT7 when I found myself looking for him, paying attention to him .. you know the drill. Heart gone. I’m in the same comfy rabbit hole but with a Kookie chaser🥰
"A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful." ~ Martha Graham What happens to an artist when they can no longer do what they love - to create, to perform, to express? And which is worse: losing the ability to do it, or losing the passion for it?
You have to love the fact that not only is the concept based on Martha Graham's quote, the choreography is a modern dance ballet and set in a magnificent old theater.
As a writer who hasn't been able to write throughout this wretched pandemic, those questions were sitting inside me for quite a while. Finding this MV- and BTS- made me feel like they really understood that fear, and reminded me that when you pull your fears out into the light, they often aren't as ominous as they seemed. I started to feel like I didn't need to worry, the creativity wasn't gone for good. And then they inspired me with 'Fire' (the award show version), and things are really starting to look up, creativity-wise. :) I owe them for that, and I won't forget it.
“Black Swan” tells the story of a dancer, an artist, who fears the death of their career: the moment when they can no longer perform on stage. The moment when music no longer touches BTS's hearts or stirs their passion is the moment when the specter of that “first death”. Song was written by: RM, PDogg, August Riggo, and Clyde Kelly
Which is why is such a beautiful song.. MOTS7 album hits entirely different than a lot of their albums when you dig deeper into each song. It is a more in depth, in their feelings, album. I really love the orchestra’s MV version a lot too. It gives such an visual representation of the song.
"Look at this motherfucker. This guy is the definition of handsome." I laughed soo hard, that's why I like Anthony's reactions xD I'm anxiously waiting for Idol and Fake Love reactions!
Black Swan is created with dancer Martha Graham’s quote as a motive. “A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful.”
I truly hurts I stopped dancing at 13 when I had been dancing since 3 and I miss it so much I can't feel the music the way I used to my heart doesn't move with the rhythm the way I used to. I truly felt like I've lost a piece of me and I want it back so bad I want to try to relearn how to dance but it's hard to save something that already died.
@@venuscastrovia5024 That sounds so familiar. I danced from age 3 to 16, and my dream was to become a professional ballerina. I was told I had the build, grace, and skill to do so. Then at 16 we discovered my second toe was slightly longer than my big toe, so no toe shoes (and basically no chance to become a pro) for me. I was crushed obviously. But years later I met a professional ballerina and saw her bare feet. I was quite grateful, for that small amount of time, that I never forced my feet into toe shoes lol. Happy/sad relating.
You can say this about every artist who stop doing their art but I suppose dancers have physical aging to deal with where they are forced to stop so it's a sure thing for them.
Jimin was trained in contemporary dance before debute. So he can rock different dance styles. His dance stages are amazing. You can check out "boy meets evil mama perfomance" jimin and jhope danced together.
@@hd-sb2dm Its all good 😊 Figured I'd say something before 1 of those extra ARMYs tries to take your head off yelling in the comments like " 🗣 ITS CONTEMPORARY NOT MODERN!". Like bruh chill 😒 LOL💜
I'm glad you mentioned how handsome RM is. His confidence, intelligence, and general good guy sense is unmatched, AND -- he has (in my opinion, I love all the guys, don't come for me) the most striking and elegant face out of all the guys in the group. He's underrated, and a supremely handsome guy. Awesome reaction!
I have to seriously question "Korean beauty standards" if they say Namjoon isn't gorgeous. I get different cultures, but maybe it's time for those standards to change.
I’m a new army . Last year nov . I was casually trying to listen to just one day . I was …. I will never look back . Feeling so sorry for myself for not knowing them earlier because earlier that year suga held a concert in my country 😔
Probably the only reactor I've seen who pays attention to the smallest detail of every bts mv, go through the lyrics of each song and analyse it. We love an OT7, Anthony!
black swan is about the death of their love for music, the moment it dies is also the death of them. they are verbalizing their fear of losing their passion. i love your reactions and I can actually feel your genuine emotions
I absolutely love how you had to restart it over and over and watch it again and again. I literally can’t get enough of this song. It’s impossible to get tired of it. Suga’s start and RM’s bit are major key to the meaning of this song, imo. They talk about how the “first death” is when music doesn’t make them react anymore. It’s about how important music is to their lives. It’s a massive part of their souls- hence the shadows…. :)
EXACTLYYYY RM is so freaking handsome he's like the definition of hot alpha male I honestly don't understand why ppl would think namjoon is anything but handsome
I agree! It upsets me when his looks and skin color is not considered handsome. Like WTF?! RM is very masculine and has so much personality with a beautiful heart.
BTS doesn't have any issues with letting other members shine, they don't have egos like that and I think that's one of the main reasons they've lasted so long together. They promote each other's solo works so hard you'd think it was theirs lol and even show up at the solo video shots for moral support. They value each others individual contributions and strengths.
I am truly impressed by the comments in this videos, I feel the real Army really respect OT7 ,some others forget that their individuality merges to create masterpieces
Each one has done individual photo shoots to promote songs and albums. Each of them have said they miss their members. They don't care for doing things by themselves. Suga and RM have said as they are at their individual works, they need J Hope. J Hope is sunshine and energy. They need him so they can get energy. Plus the other members miss each other as well. Now they will go to the studios of each other to visit during a break. For support. Even when they are on a break, they miss each other. I love how they take turns cooking. Looks like Suga and Jin are the head chefs. J Hope will clean after meals, V will do dishes. RM will also help clean up. JK will cook once in awhile. Jimin is usually all over the place. Helping where needed. They know each other well. Love when they are resting or traveling someplace, they will make sure to eat dinner together and they are happy and laughing then. Yup, Anthony is Army now.
100% couldn’t have worded this better! They’re all the same level of having no insecurities and just want each other to shine. It’s so inspirational to me. The part in the choreo where Jimin is killing his contemporary dance with the six others dancing is the background in a row… really made me realize how strong the team spirit and positivity is within these guys… sorry im getting corny but the art and spirit is ridiculously therapeutic for me❤
what you said about namjoon (RM) is so true!!! when I first met bts I fell in love with him cause the way he presented himself, I cant even explain, he is so handsome but the way he is, its so attractive
Yes, RM is hotter because of his brain, his personality, the kind of musician he is and duh ofcourse he is handsome by his looks. THAT MAN IS NOTHING BUT PERFECT.
I love how long your reactions are and go back to listen to parts again to grasp everything! Also thank you for appreciating RM's looks and everything! Everyone is handsome in BTS but I am a RM bias. Looking forward to more of your reactions!
yeah, when i first got into the fandom i was shocked to hear that some people didn't think that because before even getting to know the members rm was the most attractive one to me i think it has a lot to do with korea's 'ideal' beauty standards but the majority of the world rm is handsome af (as is all the members) i'm not even rm biased (i love him but v is my bias) but it's so odd to me all members are extremly attractive and like i said, rm was the first one i even noticed look wise in the group plus, the average person deribin their 'ideal guy' would likely involve everything rm is not many people can be that handsome, that rich, that smart, that creative (literally is right AND left brained), that cultured, that well-spoken and the list goes on and on
Maaaan, if you have to watch it five times, we'll be here watching you rewind it five times 🤣 love your reactions and how seriously you take their music and how in depth you go trying to understand everything. when you don't have a favorite you're an OT7 ARMY 💜💜💜 they're all so hard working and talented individually. Each one brings something else to the table. BTS wouldn't be BTS if one of them was gone. Thank you for this reaction!
@@mochiwithjiminjam 🤣 Agreed! I consider myself OT7 cuz I love them all so much, but I always say J-Hope has a special place in my heart because one of my fave k-pop songs from like a decade ago was Animal by jo-kwon featuring j-hope before he was j-hope LOL
the fact that I binge watch you binge watch BTS is.... I love that you have fallen completely into the rabbit hole. It's wide and VERY deep. "What is Black Swan? I got to know!" then whips out phone. Dude, no Jimin out now... LOL
Anthony: it's not only looks that matter with a man. It's their assertiveness. The way they present themselves. Me: yeah, look at how you present yourself, Anthony. Makes me wanna scream.... 😍
To be honest - Anthony has the looks also.. Friend came to suprise visit yesterday, well not justa friend but anyway! She told us she had seen a good looking guy in the street and she decided to get assertive ang got him to come to her and ask her number - good for her! But my friend, she showed this good looking guy's picture, and instanstly I noticed he looked bit like a Anthony - but honestly not as good looking! So I showed my friend Anthony. On mute and just under a minute. "This is the guy your good looking man remineded me instantly - this is the guy, whose videos I binge watched all last night while smart people are sleeping.. But I love his videos." My friend said instantly "I can see the resembelance and and i can _see_ why you were watching his videos all night!" (What can I say, I have friends with good taste.) And she saw under a minute clip on mute Anthony simping on BTS.. (She's not a ARMY {yet}) But honestly I love your videos because you get quite often what is the point of an MV's and song's story. I'm into smart men. (Giving a loud-talking side eye towards husband, who got his toenails ripped off today, because he was stupid.) but yeah.. Min-genius, or RM.. Darn give me Jinius! *sigh*
I've come back to your reaction to Black Swan dozens of times Anthony. Finally decided to comment. The absolute best reaction to my favorite BTS song, and love rewatching you become ARMY before our eyes.
The ballet Swan Lake’s main character is turned into a white swan which the prince must save. There is a black swan (played by the same ballerina) who tempts the prince so he’ll love her instead. It’s basically purity vs seductress. There’s also the movie Black Swan which was based on this same ballet, where the main character who plays the swans is a very nice and pure girl but she goes crazy as she dives into her dark side to be able to play the black swan. A black swan is also an event that takes you by surprise, which is why this MV was dropped out of the blue when nobody expected it. A swan song is also a metaphor for death or a last performance since it comes from the belief that swans sing right before they die.
Yes!! The whole map of the soul album revolves around shadow, ego, persona; peak points Suga's intro Shadow, RM's middle conversation Persona, Jhope's closure Ego. This song is also about the struggle between those three, with the main topic of the fear of losing your passion about the art/work you do. Like other comments pointed out “A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful". Dangerous ambitions, the yearning for more fame and money and other dark thoughts (what you want to deny in yourself: shadow) are clashing with the realistic part of you (mediator, idealistic: ego). And your façade (impose a desirable image, often requires wearing a mask: persona) is there for you to get what you want/desire. If you keep a balance, you will reach your "self". This song is about fighting and making a peace with your demons (shadow), accepting your mask (persona) as an artist (and idol in their case) and knowing yourself realistically (ego). Yes I am acting, wearing a mask (persona), hiding my true desires (shadow), but that is needed (ego); the important thing in my life is not losing my desire to keep on doing my thing.
From what I gather, the premise of this song is that it's coming from an artist's perspective. For example a dancer or musician either losing their physical ability or passion for what they do. For anyone that has ever held that talent or passion only to lose it is considered a type of death.. the FIRST death. The second death refers to actual death. Meaning losing your ability or passion is actually worse than dying because you are left to suffer the loss until you actually die. I genuinely relate to this song and it gets me emotional to this day.
Oh my heart! Black Swan!! I’m a 66-year-old white female from the USA, and I’ve been ARMY since June 2019. I am living proof that BTS bypasses gender, generational, and geographical boundaries, not to mention the language barrier. I just discovered your channel on Saturday, July 31st, and have been binge-watching your BTS reaction videos. You bring such knowledge, skill and, dare I say it, joy to the table with these videos that I find myself clapping and laughing right along with you. Thank you so much for respecting these young men! You talk about their hard work (signed with BigHit in 2010 when the youngest was only 13 and the oldest was 18, worked 12-16 hours a day for three years before their debut on 06/13/2013), their skill, their artistry, and all the many things that go into making them the global superstars they are today. I never appreciated rap/hip-hop until I heard it through the messages that BTS conveys. I start every day with my favorite song - 2017’s “Not Today”. RM starts it with “All you underdogs in the world, a day may come when we lose, but it is NOT TODAY. Today we fight!”. The hook is, “Run if you can’t fly (today we will survive), walk if you can’t run (today we will survive), crawl if you can’t walk (crawl to gear up), Ready! Aim! Fire!”. It gives me hope and energy for each day. Here’s the link in case you haven’t heard it yet: ruclips.net/video/9DwzBICPhdM/видео.html I will keep watching you! Borahae!
Oh so happy to see soneone my age. I'm also 66, been a proud army since august 2019. I'm an arab from Syria, so yeah, diversity and love for our boys from all over the planet.
Martha Graham's Quote "A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful." This quote by the late dancer Martha Graham is at the root of the sentiments inlaid in "Black Swan." Much like a dancer feels purposeless when they can no longer express themselves through dance, BTS contends that the day that music no longer fills them with the same passionate fire as before, or even if there came a day when they stopped creating music - what they feel is their life's purpose - it would feel like death
Suga explains what the song is about as soon as he starts rapping/singing: "The heart no longer races, when hearing the music play, tryna pull up, seems like time has stopped, oh that would be my first death, I been always afraid of". 💜
That’s when I knew AR was in deep. He’s always so good at deciphering the meanings, but he couldn’t get one of the clearest messages after watching 15363 times because the visuals were too much 😅😅😅
Anthony we honestly don’t mind long videos. “RUN THAT BACK” represents this channel 🥰💜 also i love all the members. Just can’t choose and I know I don’t have to 😉 FABULOUS REACTION THANKS
Love your reaction to this.. This song is underrated, not all fans love it coz it's kinda darker and not heavy on the choreography but this is art & psychological treatment as well.. You really are a great reactor.
this song explains their emotions about being scared of losing interest in music, like they don't feel the same excitement from music when they first debuted, etc
I really resonate with this song (thank you RM and all for this masterpiece) because it speaks on the death of one’s creative spirit, the death of love for your craft. When the music no longer stirs my heart, that will be my first death. By the end of the song, we’ve come full circle. We have a choice as artists when it feels like our soul has died in this craft- we can let it die or we can let those dark waves come and recede and cultivate a new soul with what’s left. This way, we know now that we can endure anything when it comes to our art.
Anthony: Keeps replaying the song/music video Me: Keeps replaying his reaction Lol your face is so transparent, I love your passion about music and appreciation of each of the boys. Welcome to the ARMY! And your ending song 👌🏼🔥
Every time I see them each one amazed me in some way. They compliment each other so well. Together they are awesome but how they allow each other to have moments of standing out is one of the best things about them. I've enjoyed their music more than any other group since discovering them in 2019, but what I love the most is the love Nd and respect they have for each other. It shows in everything they do.
The song focuses on being in a rut as an artist, if they can't feel about music the same way that will be the first death for the artist. It's great to see you enjoying😊
An artist dies twice. First when the art leaves them and the first death is the most painful. That is what Black Swan is about. That's the first death they're talking about, how a song never enters their heart anymore. The death depicted here is more painful than all physical death combined. The song is darker than dark. It's a void with a music.
One: I literally screamed YES when you said “I think I’m ARMY” and Two: I’m just realizing they started in white and ended in black. What’s the meaning behind that? Three: Anthony I LOVE your reactions!! Please keep doing them!! And play the videos however many times you want!! We will watch you watch the video!! 😂
My introduction to BTS was just the opposite, I don’t really listen to Rap so I was reluctant to listen to some songs but now( no bias here) Suga & RM voices are like ASMR to me 🥰BTS music gives me a deep feeling of Peace and Happiness 🌈I will forever love Them 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🖤🌈✨🌎💫🤟
I think the lyrics "do your thang" and "film it now" do represent the external pressures on them from media and even from fans. We always want more from them; we want the next big thing. These pressures and their constant hard work are what they fear could kill their passion for music. But in the lyrics they also conquer this fear at the end, and vow to never let it happen.
This song just say that they are afraid to lose their love for music, unlike other artist that are afraid to lose fame or their success but BTS are afraid to lose their love for music because of the fame and spotlight. That's for I understand though 😊💜
The first part of this song talks about their love of each other, the group and the music they make. If the time comes where they are no longer love what they do or the feel the music in their heart then that will be the first death. The second half of the song talks about how they live their life very publicly and they pour their heart and soul into the music. Every song they created expresses their doubt, fears and anxiety but they continue because they have learned who they are and found themselves in the music. PS: I found BTS in 2018 at the end of the Love Yourself era just before MAP of the Soul came out. The rap line pulled me in but then the vocal line made me stay. I still don't have a bias. I love each of them not only for their talent but for who they are as individuals. They are special and truly unique.
✔ Innumerable theories created ✔ Realizing he's ARMY ✔ Namjoon the most handsome man on earth!!!!! Yes, yes yes yes!!!! ✔ Identifying each member correctly ✔ SOPE enthusiastic ✔ Black Swan is art. The end.
Its OK, Anthony…if you rewind it to the beginning 100 times, we’ll keep watching because that was the same thing we all did when we saw this masterpiece for the first time!
I'm addicted to this song for the past two years and still I get goosebumps. And everytime I watch or listen I hear and see only Jimin, I think 99% JM harmonized with everyone not sure but I get only his voice in the background mostly. I remember in an award show interview Hobi said three things to expect from this song Jimin Jimin and Jimin and it's a yes for me 1. Graceful black swan, Jimin 2. Angelic voice, Jimin 3. Harmony, Jimin 💜💜💜💜
You are not lost! You are just STANNED by the 7 of them. And i smiled a lot when you said you are an army now. 🥰 i so love your reaction. Im OT7 all the way!
the black swan is about the first death of the artist, when the artist looses contact with their art, and their heart, embrace your shadow self, love your whole self, darkness and light, broken and whole to become your art, you and your brothers become art. BTS is Art.

"Once you JIMIN, you can't JIMOUT"😂😂💜
So FREAKING TRUE ❤️🥺

ARMY's main crack on RUclips: Seeing a RUclips reactor hopping into BTS casually because their video was trending that one day, and then seeing them descend into madness trying to figure out who is their favourite a couple of months later.
Now I know why I love watching this descent into madness again and again😂 never thought of analyzing it before...
TRUTH
So true! 😂😂
Truth has been spoken 🐸
Yesssss that’s my favorite thing ever on RUclips😂😂😂 so many you tubers I’ve found like that and I just keep up with their journey. Ughh I love it
In RM’s vLive, he talked about how he created this song. He watched the movie “Black Swan” many times and feel the pain as the ballet dancer, he then wrote this song. Even he doesn’t song many verse, this is RM’s song.
Wowww👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
That explains a lot. RM is the modern day Shakespeare. He is a poet and a philosopher. I’m getting to learn so much about him
'Black Swan' refers to the internal struggle of a person who has become used to doing what he loves the most and how the taste he had for it has completely disappeared.
Once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the most painful"
Edit: I hope you understand, I'm not good in English man, sorry if something is wrong ✌😊
I dont understand much but thank

- Recognizes all the member

- Gets wrecked by all the members
- Tries to interpret their song and MV
- Can't pick a favorite song
- Liking a genre you don't usually listen to
- Singing along

Yeah true, for me black Swan is a master piece

It still makes me upset Black Swan not having the recognition it should, like, it's been over a year and it hit 300M what, last month? Not that it's little, but compared to other MVs... this is pure work of art in every way possible, it's perfection

"A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful." ~ Martha Graham
What happens to an artist when they can no longer do what they love - to create, to perform, to express? And which is worse: losing the ability to do it, or losing the passion for it?
This is the comment he needs to see
You have to love the fact that not only is the concept based on Martha Graham's quote, the choreography is a modern dance ballet and set in a magnificent old theater.
No it doesn’t. Its about an artist losing their passion for the music. Written by Joon.
Main lyricist RM. He is a genius and have beautiful soul. He cried a lot while writing lyrics thinking of their past.
@@ami2017angel don't say that! Now I'm gonna cry
Which is why is such a beautiful song.. MOTS7 album hits entirely different than a lot of their albums when you dig deeper into each song. It is a more in depth, in their feelings, album. I really love the orchestra’s MV version a lot too. It gives such an visual representation of the song.
@@abydosww what OP said is correct tho, you remember orchestral MV version that was out first right? The beginning set the tone for the song.

Black Swan is created with dancer Martha Graham’s quote as a motive. “A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful.”
Right...n here the first death applies to their fear of loosing passion towards music, just like a dancer's.

Best part of my day: Watching their passion ignite your passion. Consider yourself drafted into ARMY. Yaaaasssssssssssssssss
It's connected with SUGA's song "Interlude: Shadow"
@@SalaryNue +++
I genuinely relate to this song and it gets me emotional to this day.
this masterpiece is co-written and co-composed by RM

Borahae!

Martha Graham's Quote
"A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful."
This quote by the late dancer Martha Graham is at the root of the sentiments inlaid in "Black Swan." Much like a dancer feels purposeless when they can no longer express themselves through dance, BTS contends that the day that music no longer fills them with the same passionate fire as before, or even if there came a day when they stopped creating music - what they feel is their life's purpose - it would feel like death

I think we all like when they put suga and hobi back to back it’s our “sope”
I really resonate with this song (thank you RM and all for this masterpiece) because it speaks on the death of one’s creative spirit, the death of love for your craft. When the music no longer stirs my heart, that will be my first death. By the end of the song, we’ve come full circle. We have a choice as artists when it feels like our soul has died in this craft- we can let it die or we can let those dark waves come and recede and cultivate a new soul with what’s left. This way, we know now that we can endure anything when it comes to our art.
You got their names down correctly. Respect.

Three: Anthony I LOVE your reactions!! Please keep doing them!! And play the videos however many times you want!! We will watch you watch the video!! 😂
Same. Watch his reaction make me realize more details in the mv.
Suga's verses hit hard, he is insane.
rm wrote the song
suga King insane so nice Good rapper Good produçer i Love yuo
I think "flim it now" is double entendre listen how thay say it it sound like "feeling it now" ;D
✔ Innumerable theories created
✔ Realizing he's ARMY
✔ Namjoon the most handsome man on earth!!!!! Yes, yes yes yes!!!!
✔ Identifying each member correctly
✔ SOPE enthusiastic
✔ Black Swan is art.
Black Swan by BTS, they’re talking about lossing their passion or love for music and that will be their first death.
the black swan is about the first death of the artist, when the artist looses contact with their art, and their heart, embrace your shadow self, love your whole self, darkness and light, broken and whole to become your art, you and your brothers become art. BTS is Art.
