- Out testing land for our weekender on 6th October
And hit my first ever horde and a beaut it is ⭐️⭐️ #epicfinds #event #facebook #group #bronzeage #socketedaxeheads # bronze axes
Those are absolutely fabulous. I found a Bronze Age hoard but with only one socketed axehead. The rest of the pieces were broken and look like collected for recycling, spear tips, bits of dagger blades, pommels. Congratulations on your finds. Great feeling to hold in you hand something from so long ago. Probably about 120 generations back!
Thanks so much and bet you was gob smacked find all those bronze trinkets 😊… congrats bud and yes I still can’t believe I found hoard axes 🙌🏻⭐️
@@DeanCritt I found the first 2 and I called her over to help me as I knew it was another one when she had a signal ..

Did you do any research before you started your digging? Did any battles happen here during that time period?
@@MegaCharger9no battles but the grounds have been used since ancient times so covers all history .. the land has lots of burial mounds around there too
@@MegaCharger9 They are green wood working tools rather than battle axes . Looks by their shape to be an assortment of splitting wedges and cutting axe . Some one mislaid their tools or forgot where they hid them .
You should turn off your pinpointer while digging so it's not going off while recovering an object.
Just lazy I suppose 😂
Amazing ladsssss❤❤ gongratzzz. Jim Belgium.💯👍❤️
