If your going to upgrade to a larger motor, check out Summit engines. They have 250 and 292 I6 motors which will bolt right in as a clean replacement. In addition, they put together a Turbo kit designed for each of these motors which helps the motor develop 325 horsepower and 525 pound/torque. Ultimately an LS1 motor that bolts into your 49-50 without any structural modifications.

292 is a little too long without modifications to the firewall but I am unsure about the 250.

There’s a ‘49 coup, no deluxe, for $8000, it has surface rust and flat tires , been kept in a barn I’m thinking bout getting, just looking at some videos on this type of car, it has a didn’t grill, kind of the bars going horizontal and vertical, it has the visor in front but none on the headlights, I’m checking out some cars, you’re look sweet
