- Those packing materials you get with your order are worth saving. Whether it be foam, packing peanuts, paper, bubble wrap, air pillows, or boxes it is all potentially worth saving for for a second use. It does have value but not a lot so if you have enough of the right stuff you could sell it for a couple bucks. Otherwise most small online sellers like myself will happily take it for free.
The most important thing to keep in mind is the stuff needs to be clean and relatively undamaged. If there is dirt, debris, or strong odors on the materials it is not very desirable. If the boxes are damaged and creased they won't be useful for shipping. They still might be useful as moving boxes though. When in doubt sort it accordingly and see what people who want it say.
This is excellent! Very interesting! Thank you for the great tips. News I can use!!💡👍👏
Bubblewrap is wonderful when you buy Costco quantities of frozen Food - just wrap 2 or 3 Layers around it!
@@jfkastner too me longer to figure that out than it should of. 😅 I've never thought to try that with frozen goods. I got one of those aluminum lined bags but never have it with me when I need it.
can also use bubblewrap for quick insulation on windows :D
@@dhutch13 never thought about that. I imagine it would work well. Especially with the small bubbles. I have sheets of Styrofoam over some of my windows.
@computersales try the bubble wrap! I haven't had the chance to try it yet, but have plenty on hand in case we have some cold days this winter
@@dhutch13 yeah I'll have to give it a shot. Aluminum foil is another one people put in their windows. That only works for radiant heat though.
