  • Follow up video ( • Eufy noise issue ) to the noise issue I was having with my Eufy Robovac 30. The noise went away after adding electrical tape to the non keyhole side of the brush. I hope this helps anyone else having issues with their Eufy.

    I bought a new robo vac because of this. Kept the loud one just in case. Tried this and super quiet again. You figured it out buddy! Thank you! Funny their own tech support couldn’t or wouldn’t just tell us how to stop it, admitting the quality defect.

      Well, you can always buy a new one to solve it. Wich is what the customer support maybe wants you to do.

    Thanks a million for this - it worked brilliantly. I used two of my daughter's hair ties instead of electrical tape, and the robovac is quiet again.

    Thank You....noise is gone. I think it has something to do with the replacement brush, maybe they are saving .000001 cents on plastic by making it smaller

    Thanks for your video, it narrowed the issue down, but you can pop that circle piece off to expose a bearing with a rod inserted in the roller, gently pry the bearing off and pull the trash and such out and away from the bearing then put back together and it fixed it without the tape. Appreciate your troubleshooting!

    Thank you for solution. Can this be solved with a new main brush? Or is the problem caused by an indentation in the device itself?

    Ok so i had to do a couple things to fix this issue - my brush wasnt rolling was the sound so i had to actually break loose the brush end and spray wd40 on there so it would actually spin. Then i did the lil piece of tape so the end would stop spinning the brush now makes zero noise. Thanks for the tip.

    Your video showed the exact issue I was having.
    Time will tell if the electrical tape to wear and if the noise returns, but for now - THANK YOU. I was about ready to toss it in the can, and this took care of it.
    Note: first wrap of tape did not solve the problem. I put a 2nd wrap, and intentionally left about 1/8" overhang on the end, which I folded down on the end as flat as possible - though a little lateral damping also couldn't hurt.

    • @brianmuehlenkamp2010
      @brianmuehlenkamp2010 Год назад +1

      If you take off the black piece that you put the tape on, there is a bearing underneath it. You can pop that out with a small flathead screwdriver and there will be a bunch of hair and dust back there. The noise is because that bearing is dirty and the black circle is spinning when it shouldn’t be

    Thank you for posting. I thought it might be the wheels rubbing making a terrible loud noise. I took out the brush and put 2 small pieces of electrical tape in the seat for Brush holder. Problem stopped immediately. I would not have guessed the plastic was wearing down from spinning and just needed a little cushion for the brush. Thank you!
