- Follow up video ( • Eufy noise issue ) to the noise issue I was having with my Eufy Robovac 30. The noise went away after adding electrical tape to the non keyhole side of the brush. I hope this helps anyone else having issues with their Eufy.
I bought a new robo vac because of this. Kept the loud one just in case. Tried this and super quiet again. You figured it out buddy! Thank you! Funny their own tech support couldn’t or wouldn’t just tell us how to stop it, admitting the quality defect.
Well, you can always buy a new one to solve it. Wich is what the customer support maybe wants you to do.
Thanks a million for this - it worked brilliantly. I used two of my daughter's hair ties instead of electrical tape, and the robovac is quiet again.
Thanks for the hair ties tip! Such a relief hah
Thank You....noise is gone. I think it has something to do with the replacement brush, maybe they are saving .000001 cents on plastic by making it smaller
Thanks for your video, it narrowed the issue down, but you can pop that circle piece off to expose a bearing with a rod inserted in the roller, gently pry the bearing off and pull the trash and such out and away from the bearing then put back together and it fixed it without the tape. Appreciate your troubleshooting!
THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!!! I took this thing apart 6 ways from Sunday and could not figure out the noise issue. Problem solved with electrical tape in 2 minutes! Thank you again for sharing your solution!
it was hell before I found this video
Thank you for solution. Can this be solved with a new main brush? Or is the problem caused by an indentation in the device itself?
Thank you!!! Was about to spend 60 dollars on new wheels cause I thought that’s what it was.
Not all hero’s wear capes!!! Thank you!
This worked PERFECTLY! Thank you!
Worked great, thank you so much!
And the world is right again. My wife is going to be so proud of me. Thanks for the video, but I will be taking the credit when my wife finds out. Cause, you know how it is.
Thank you! This thing was about 30 seconds away from being tossed!
Wow. How frustrating and easy a solution to the problem! Thanks for this video, solved my problem immediately.
E Tape for the win! Thanks dude.
Thanks bro 👊🏽 fixed mine as well 👌👌👌👌
Amazing! This worked so well for me! Thank You!!!
OMG it worked!!!! thank you from Chile.
Dude, fucking awesome you're great !!!
Thank you soooooo much.
You fixed the problem. My place will be clean again 😋
Gracias desde Perú!
Thanks for share. I'll will do it right now!
Thank you for sharing this. I have the same noise. I solved my problem with some small felt sticky pads I had laying around. I wonder if the root of the problem is that I bought aftermarket roller brushes and they are smaller.
Thank you so much fixed the rattlingly sound
OMG Thank you so much for making this video! I was just about to throw the whole unit out when I came across this video. I didn't have tape but another commenter mentioned cling wrap and it worked like a charm!
Thank you so much man :) Same solution for Philips 3000 series aqua.
Thank you! I tapped that side and it worked. Noiseless again!
Ive tried electrical tape, removing and cleaning the bearings and nothing works, still noisy as :(
OBVIOUSLY, this would not work. In desperation I tried it anyway
. >
Worked great! Thanks.
I'll be dammed ! This worked. Thanks alot!
thank you. this definitely helped with my bissell as it was making horrible noises 🙉
i really wanna thank you! i had the same problem with Yeedi 2 Hybrid and now is solved! Thank you
This solved the problem on my Viomi! Thank you so much!
You’re awesome, thanks!
Fixed mine! Thank you!!
Ok so i had to do a couple things to fix this issue - my brush wasnt rolling was the sound so i had to actually break loose the brush end and spray wd40 on there so it would actually spin. Then i did the lil piece of tape so the end would stop spinning the brush now makes zero noise. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks a lot that worked for my g30
fuck yeah! just fixed mine, thank you
I have a Deebot N8 and it is making a high pitch noise that varies with suction speed. The brush set up look very similar. I might give this a try to if this helps.
It worked like a charm! Thank you so much!
Oh my gosh! Perfect, my Eufy is back to being quiet. Was ready to toss in garbage.
Thank you!
Thank you sooooo much!!! You are a genious!!! 🙌🙌🙌
Worked for me too, was getting super annoying over laminate
Use a pliers to remove the circular knob on the end to expose the bearing. Clean the hair and dirt out and it will run quietly again. I had to use a safety pin to get all the hair
Bro thank you
Thank you! This fixed it instantly
Worked like a charm. Thanks!
CONCHASUMADRE GRACIASS!!!!!
Thanks a ton
It worked
I was so frustrated that I was close to binning it
I have a different brand and same thing happens. A loud noise from the roller. I has a piece that attached the thr end but lost it. I'll try electric tape
Thank you! Crazy that much noise comes from a little brush!
Thanks a lot! God, I really won't miss that noise
Well I’ll be darned!! Thank you!
Will replacing the brush fix it or would I still have to put tape on it?
Just tried this out on my 35C after the annoying sounds started. It worked great! So glad you put this video up.
Thank you for this video.
I was about to order a new one. 😂
This fixed mine! Thanks 😊
worked like charm for me. Thanks a lot
Thanks man!!!!
Gracias por fin se fue ese ruido molesto
Your video showed the exact issue I was having.
Time will tell if the electrical tape to wear and if the noise returns, but for now - THANK YOU. I was about ready to toss it in the can, and this took care of it.
Note: first wrap of tape did not solve the problem. I put a 2nd wrap, and intentionally left about 1/8" overhang on the end, which I folded down on the end as flat as possible - though a little lateral damping also couldn't hurt.
If you take off the black piece that you put the tape on, there is a bearing underneath it. You can pop that out with a small flathead screwdriver and there will be a bunch of hair and dust back there. The noise is because that bearing is dirty and the black circle is spinning when it shouldn’t be
Bless you! It worked!!!
@@brianmuehlenkamp2010 yep you nailed the root cause. just wiped a little dirt and a tiny squirt of silicon and we're back in business with a freely rotating bearing. Thank you
Thanks! Saved me 👍
Or you can let it accumulate hair again and that will do the same job as the electrical tape lol 😂
Thanks a million
This worked perfectly! Mine was only making the rattle noise on bare floor, not on rugs or carpet. I was so stumped after a through cleaning. Thank you.
Thank you!!
YOU'RE A GENIUS!!
Thank you so much !!!
Absolutely amazing, can’t believe it worked 😊 thank you so much for sharing this 👏🏻👏🏻
You da man! Thank for making this video. Hard to believe the brush could make so much noise.
It worked!
Yeap. Works
Thank you so so much.
You are great! I would order a brush with cover, 25 usd, but figured out the problem with a simple tape!
👍2 min fix - fantastic
lifesaver
Funcionó! Muchas gracias por el video. Saludos desde Chile.
Thank you!
THIS!!!!!!
I love you bro
Thanks a ton!
This was the fix, thanks a ton!
Merci!
Wow! Thank you. This video just saved me a couple hundred $ and my sanity!
Thank you for posting. I thought it might be the wheels rubbing making a terrible loud noise. I took out the brush and put 2 small pieces of electrical tape in the seat for Brush holder. Problem stopped immediately. I would not have guessed the plastic was wearing down from spinning and just needed a little cushion for the brush. Thank you!
Thought so too! Replaced the right wheel and new side brushes. Worked with the tape fix!!
Wow seems to have helped!
Thank you for this super simple and effective repair! It worked for my Coredy R550 robot vacuum, which looks almost exactly like your Eufy model. I had had my robot in the closet for many months because of the noise it was making but decided to give repairing it one more try before I bought a new one. You saved me several hundred dollars - thanks!
It worked for me, Thanks for sharing. I wonder if the solution is simply by replacing the brush or if the problem is in that thing that it is sitting on.
I'm just adding one more thank you to the pile. The noise was driving me nuts!
thank you so so so much!! i got it for my birthday 3 years ago and was always happy but since half a year or so this sound became worse and worse, it was so loud and no matter what i cleaned it didn't help. turns out it was just too much space haha. your advice helped!! thank you again, my frustration is gone
This is an excellent video. I knew that the sound was coming from the rolling brush but thought it was stripped gears for the rolling brush, not the brush vibrating. :)
It worked for our Eufy too! I literally only wrapped one layer of electrical tape around the round end. I made sure to keep it thin so it doesn’t cover the very end of the roller. I can’t believe how simple this fix was! Thank you!
Fixed it right away!! A piece of tape on the right side. Thanks a lot! 2/4/24.
I never comment anywhere..but this worked. Cant thank you enough. I used clear plastic hair tie twisted around it a few times luke a previous commenter suggested. Thank you. Truly.
You da MAN! Our Eufy G30C Max would run us out of the house with the loud noise while running. This simple procedure fixed the noise issue. Thank you!
Muchas Gracias! Mi Robovac G30 empezó con el mismo ruido, sin razon aparente. Ahora funciona perfecto! Muchas gracias nuevamente!😃
you soab. That was it. That was my problem and a little tape fixed it. You're amazing thank you!
I just used your tape fix and it worked perfectly. Thank you!
I was skeptical, but did what you said anyway...unbelievably brilliant! I used duct tape. HUGE THANKS!
Oh my gosh. I had the same problem. I could not figure out where the noise was coming from. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Thank you! Can’t wait to try this! The sound in your other video is exactly the one mine makes.
