Solution to Eufy RoboVac Loud Noise From Rattling Brush

- The most common reason why your Eufy robovac is noisy and loud is because the rolling brush bearings are full of hair. You will be surprised by the amount of hair inside the rolling brush bearings.
After further investigation, I have found out that the real problem is that debris, hair, and a collection of dust somehow make their way into the bearing housing on the main rolling brush.
This then causes the bearing to stop rotating, and then begins to wear out the brush guard that traps the bearing housing in place. This results in the main brush becoming loose, and accelerating the wear process.
To fix the noisy brush, take the cap off both ends of the rolling brush with pliers and clean out the insane amount of hair wrapped inside. It’s okay to pry each bearing out from the rolling brush with a little force.

Cleaned every bastard hole and gap I could find...still made the noise.
Had no idea that little cap popped off, fixed.
Thank you so much, legend.
I haven’t used my vacuum in MONTHS because of the terrible noise. I couldn’t believe how much hair i pulled out that was stuck around the bearing. I wish i could like this video 100 times
Glad your vacuums works now!
So I completely opened my eufy 2x to see what was wrong... put it back together and still made a horrible noise.. wasted 1.5 hrs... after ur video it was fixed within minutes!!! Thank you!!!
Had the exact same experience here! Thank you so, so much!
Worked like a charm!!!!!
I actually saw this tutorial months ago but couldn’t find a way to get off the cap without tools. After going crazy some more months, I used an old pair of scissors and gripped it off. It looked pretty clean at first but after digging around, the hair just kept appearing more and more. I don’t think you said this explicitly in the video but the metal bearing inside can be directly pulled out and all the hair will fall off cleanly once you pulled it off. I had 5 millimeters thick band of hair. Sigh of relief my vacuum is sooo calming now in comparison like white noise.
I just put WD40 on the edges of the brush and the sound is gone
You have seriously saved our sanity at our home. God bless you, buddy!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!! yes i'm screaming it to the top of my lungs bc I tried everything!!! Sanity reclaimed!
Thanks! I opened the cap, there was a cat inside! I cleaned it and now it’s quite again. I owe you a cup of coffee!
I would love that! :)
Thanks, Was a serious rattle coming out of mine. Cut some electrical tape into thin slices that could wrap around it to make it a bit thicker and seems to have fixed it. Many thanks
You are a genius!!! Thank you so very much!!! Saved me from buying a new eufy!
You're welcome!!
dude thank you so much. I had the same issue, and thought it was wierd that there was no bearing. I`ll also print a new cap, good idea!
No problem 👍
Thanks! I was able to pull hair out of the bearings of both my Eufys. Unfortunately I think part of the issue on one of them is that the rough grooves causing the noise are in the dug-out in the Eufy body where the bushing sits. I still get a bit of grinding if I swap in a new brush with a new bushing, but if I run it with no brush there's no grinding at all.
Did you just save my sanity and my wallet?! Yes you did, thank you so much!!!!
You are so welcome!
Fixed my issue Asap!!! Thank you! Looked up on the official website and nothing (most likely to make their customers buy a new brush) and as soon as i see ypur video and clean out the bearing, and add oil to it, Boom! Running quietly like never before. THANK YOU!
You're welcome.
Thanks so much! Who knew it could be this simple!
You're welcome!
You da man!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This completely fixed it. WD-40 really does work miracles
same issue... did the electrical tape you suggested & worked Great! Thank you!
Thank you very much. It worked, there was lots of hairs inside preventing the bearing to spin. I tried using pliers but I ended up biting it out and it worked better.
thanks man, my wife thinks im a genius robovac wizard now that Tony has stopped making that god awful noise
I couldn’t get the damn cap off without mangling it so I just put some oil around the edges and worked it in there. Noise is gone… for now. 😅
The noise was starting to drive me mad. Hair around the bearing was definitely the problem. Thanks very much for the video.
You're welcome.
I was about to throw my Eufy away. Your video was so helpful! Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thanks for this 👍
Absolutely brilliant! Popped the cap off with some pliers to discover half of that cap was ground down, just as you said. Cleaned the hair and debris, then cut some electrical tape down to the width to cover the portion that was worn, wrapped a few times and now it's whisper quiet. It was driving my husband mad, and I was finding the vacuum in all sorts of places in the house where he would flip it over to make it stop😂. he's going to be so relieved. Thank you so much!!
Glad it helped
It worked! Thank you
You're welcome!

Do you have the blueprint for the 3d printed peice
Thank you so much! This fixed my problem. What an easy solution. I had no idea where the noise was coming from!
Excellent!
Can you post a link to your file for the new cap?
Shhhh, mate! I love you for this. I just bought a "broken" second hand Eufy 30c for £35 and your tip fixed it! I bought a new battery, and swapped that in already as I wanted it to last more than 5 minutes.
I wasted more than an hour searching Eufys help section, before finding this video.
THANKS!
That fixed it thanks!
Awesome!
Thanks for this information 👍
Thanks man ... Mine was driving me CRAZY and it was like you've explained.
I cleaned it and it's like new.
Easy fix! This worked perfectly for me. Problem was exactly the same. Thanks for sharing :)
This worked perfectly for my Eufy 15CMax - I was going insane trying to figure it out - removing a year of dog hair from the bearing and giving it a shot of compressed air worked!
Thank uuu
Hi there, do you sell that orange cap? Would love to buy one for our Eufy. It's making terrible noise.
I saw some videos and heard the problem is the motor. I have opened the robot twice and saw this video for more ideas. Now my problem is solved after this. I was looking for new motor but no! Thank you so much
YOU ARE AMAZING! Thank you.
I was going absolutely MAD trying to figure out why my G30 was making so much noise lately. Thank you so much for this!
Thanks soooo much for taking the time to do this video on the eufy!
I thought the problem was going to be much more and was procrastinating and dreading the repair.
Your video helped me fix it in like 20 minutes!
Thank you so much!!!
This helped with my noisy eufy
I cleaned it multiple times
I wipes the sensors, charging pins,
cleaned the roller brush
Cleans the roller brush guard
Cleaned the filter
The dustbin
This is a life saver 🩷
