    Good Example of battery powered ratchet use. I am there now. But I busted a lot of stuff on the learning curve. Keep em coming !

      It is easy to do with any tool you are unfamiliar with. I have spent a lot of money trying to learn different things. Education costs a lot no matter how you learn

      A couple bags of moth balls, one on the engine and one under the battery or storage compartment should do it

    Miss my Skil by Bosch 1/4" cordless ratchet. Was quite a bit smaller than current offerings.

    I serviced a Z335e and after i was finished I was finished, i was driving it up to wash it off and it shut off. Nothing will work. I pulled the battery and its fully charged. After pulling the cover I found multiple wires damaged by mice. Do you suggest I follow your example and replace the harness ? I appreciate the video.

    • @IndRepair
      @IndRepair  3 месяца назад +1

      I would recommend this over repairing but sometimes you just got to do what you can do

    • @pastorchrisdavidson7153
      @pastorchrisdavidson7153 3 месяца назад +1

      The harness is damaged very similar to the one you show in the video. They park it in a horse barn and the mice had made multiple nests under the cover.

      @@pastorchrisdavidson7153 Definitely replace the harness. They sure love this mower and it nooks/crannys

    Nice job man. Did you find anything under the cover? Can i ask how much that cost with the new wire harness?

    • @IndRepair
      @IndRepair  8 месяцев назад +1

      It was all bedded up but nothing chewed luckily able to get away without further repairs. I believe with a tune up and all of the repairs/wiring harness and other parts it was around $1,000

    good video! We have same wont start all sensors replaced relay replaced no bad wores we can find fuses are good we are thung a new harness. Pto switch is good also. Any ideas? Batterybis good also.

    • @IndRepair
      @IndRepair  7 месяцев назад

      I would test voltage everywhere and see if you get anything at the solenoid before doing the harness. Do a full electrical diagnosis before but it is definitely possible

    • @AK-uy1vm

    Mine is beginning to start intermittently. Any suggestions? Sometimes I turn the key it cranke other times it doesn't. Once its been started and warmed up its good. 5 years old. Battery??

    • @IndRepair
      @IndRepair  4 месяца назад

      If the battery is 5 years old I would definitely have it tested and check the connections at the battery / solenoid for corrosion and make sure they are tight

      Mines went out on a job about a month ago. John Deere wants to charge half of the cost of the mower for repairs . Can you give me a list of the parts that you replaced and where you ordered it from. Thanks in advance!

    I have a 335e, will shut down if you pull both steer handles, what should I look for

    • @IndRepair
      @IndRepair  7 месяцев назад

      One of the switches being bad on it will cause this issue. Parking brake must be down before pulling them in. Does it die if you let the parking brake off without pulling them in?
