Landing man on moon is much much more difficult than landing a remote controlled moon rover there. Because, bringing back anything is very difficult, and humans must come back. NASA asked China to share lunar soil samples China had brought back from the moon, China said "you don't even have that yet? I thought you had been there and done that back in 1969. No, we'd never share it, as your laws prohibit space cooperations."
@@ariaaria-qu5qt : Is it possible for you to comprehend what an absolute crock of Scheiss that you stated. There are civilizations 8.5x10^9 years beyond ours, and vast numbers of others besides. Our technological progress only truly started ~150 years ago.
Moon development and colonization should take precedence to Mars and Proxima B exploration because that process will facilitate the technological development and capacities necessary for spacecraft development and interstellar travel
If I could move my Music Production company to the moon and compose with no limits while looking at space out of my windowI would generate hit after hit with all that inspiration!
Obviously, bringing back lunar soil sample is the logical first step of all. China had brought back some samples, and clearly said not sharing it with other countries, citing "Wolfe Act" that bans any cooperation with the Chinese.
@@adrianrobinson7953 Very doubtful. China did a clever test and asked NASA to trade lunar samples, in exchange for the front side moon sample, China will share the backside moon sample. The result, no response. Then one has to assume you don't have anything brought back from the moon.
Another thing that could be built inside a large crater or on the surface of the moon would be a massive MACH Canon used for launching smaller interstellar satellites up to speeds far faster then achieved by earlier rockets. Waiting to deploy solar sails or antenna until getting to a stable speed. These canons could be used for lunar and earth defense also
I wonder if when we have cheaper more powerful lift rockets and maybe even space elevators. Would it be dumb to start mining the vast amounts of ice on Antarctica this using a space elevator structure to suck up the water in liquid form to a space station to be like a gas station then to also transport water to the moon and fill in some dome covered craters building little lakes. Taking many decades this isn’t just to supply the space industries with liquid water but is so we can then safely uncover the land beneath that ice for future use with large solar mirrors reflecting large amounts of sunlight. Also we could replenish the worlds nearly dried up fresh water lakes all over the world. Of course we would need to safely extract all the possibilities of germs in the water that were frozen back during and before the dinosaurs. Also we need to capture the greenhouse gases that will thaw along with the water.
Interesting topic. Plz keep these coming. Really fascinating is fusion energy as its viewed as the holy grail of energy. It will offer clean, cheap unlimited energy. If we don't sort out the global issues we have now and in the near term future, humanity won't even be able get off the planet. Too many vested interests held by a few multi billionaires who will always look out for themselves first
I've always wondered what the scenario would be if we discovered a planet with perfect conditions for humans, but found it to be inhabited by a neolithic, humanoid, species. Would we take the Star Trek stance, and fly away to leave them to develop, or would we....?
And what about the fact that the moon is moving away from the earth and sooner or later, it will leave the earth's gravitational field and go somewhere???
What I’m saying is that the science says that for a man to live on the Moon he must live underground and the only place that he can go it’s underground it’s already opened are these massive lava tubes that exist on the address below the surface we don’t have time to start excavating the ground we need to have a place to move into and then from there we can expand the same thing goes for Mars we need a place to start off with the underground is protected
Considering we only go there every 50 years or its unlucky any of this is going to happen. Once either china going next or the USA , itll all be forgotten ..again...
No why ? People have the freedom to believe what they want why do you want to dictate a specific view and force people to don’t believe something ? Plus astronauts will need a strong faith in something to do such incredible job
Interesting thoughts. But whoever created this video didn't have to put lights inside of astronauts helmets, blinding them. Was this video made in Hollywood? So childish, it's like made by Disney.
I have to say: what you show in the video is pure hell. None of that will happen. No one will give up the blue sky of the earth for the blackness of the moon. No one will give up the freely breathable fresh air of the earth for breathing from gas cylinders. No one will trade their life of riding their motorbike through the countryside for a rumbling moon buggy ride. Forget it, Future Business Tech. Think of something new. The moon will remain what it already is: an object of longing for couples who are hopefully in love.

What about asteroids? No atmosphere to protect against them. That's why the moon looks like Swiss cheese and the earth doesn't.
