I enjoyed this lesson. I needed to hear it and I need to use this stuff more in my playing. The more I learn about the harmonica the more there is to learn. Thanks for this post.
Hi I Have a request for the perfect British beginner Song as not everyone who takes up the harmonica wants to play the blues but doesn't want to practice twinkle twinkle little star like a kid. I suggest a song that 30 million brits know like the back of there hand. The way we were the last of the summer wine theme?
Hey love your vibes and stuffs. The term 'Unison' however refers to same note being doubled or - not double stops or dyads or any other combination of different notes being played at the same time. So like the fiddle and harmonica playing single note lines or a tune in unison is everyone on the same notes at the same time. I think it's used if we play octaves as well. Curious what harp you're playing there? Seems you've been working on it ;)
ha ha, it was 11 years ago now when I completed my music degree- thanks for pointing out how much I've forgotten :) ( I better get revising again) Harp is a customised Hohner crossover all the best Ed
