I wouldn't call necessarly a "glitch". When you're far from an object (building, tree, wall, mountain), your game no longer registers it as "solid". And, since the thermal vision allows you to see through buildings, if you're far enough, you can basically "wall-bang" the enemy player. I don't know all the jerga that surrounds "rendering", perhaps someone else can explain you that glitch more clearly.
