Seeing everyone wearing facemasks doesn't look weird in Japan.
Yes. But still there are few people wearing their masks under their noses. Lots of them here also in the Philippines.
at least they wear them and not acting like fools as many people in europe still doing..

If your budget allows, not a business hotel,
I think it's best to stay in a tourist hotel (resort hotel or Japanese ryokan).
There are plenty of business hotels around the station, and they are reasonably priced, but
The rooms are small and the bathrooms are in units, so you won't be very happy with them.
If you put more emphasis on accommodation, you'll be more satisfied with your trip.
Instead, stay in a traditional Japanese ryokan or onsen inn.
I think it's better to experience Japanese culture to get a feel for it.
The following services are good for this purpose.
Multilingual support
Installing WiFi
Introduction of payment services
Water maintenance
You can eat Japanese food.
Experience Japanese culture
However, Japanese inns and other places may not have that good of a transportation system.
So if you are looking for traffic and surroundings, the above suggestions may not be very helpful.
The above is just one way of thinking, so I hope it's helpful to you.

@@JAPAN_4K What's the Covid situation like there? Seems to be business as usual. My friend, who lives in Osaka, says going into lockdown just isn't really an option for them.
For now, there are few people infected, and I think we have been able to coexist successfully with the coronavirus.
However, we need to be even more careful as the weather gets colder.

Everyone else and many other people everywhere in Japan are wearing Face Masks at all times and they all look brilliant with those on and I totally love that also while they're all walking on their own downtown everywhere for themselves. thanks for nice video, the view from top of shibuya scramble square is pretty amazing maybe one day you can film but i know it costs $$$ to get up there.
The night view from the observation deck is definitely beautiful!
The problem is that the wind seems to be strong.
If I get a chance, I would like to take a video of it.
