I LOVE these walks: I try to follow along on a map, but it's sometimes difficult. It would be amazing if you could also post GPX or KML track files of your routes so we can see exactly where you went...🙏

in our city, malls have it all. theatres and branded shops. but in japan, in every alley they have, there would be all kinds of stuffs.
Living and working in Japan due to an internship was truly the most happiest time in my life. Even came back to do the exact internship a second time just to spend more time in Tokyo. It's just 2 years ago, but I can't barely watch these videos due to how much I miss Japan. Hopefully I can return one day for living!

Interesting, they turned off godzilla, no more safety annocements, nobody drinking in the plaza, no hustlers talking about bars, no lines at robot rest. I stayed there for a month at booth capsule hotel Nov 2019. are the arcades now empty to? I mostly hung out at the arcades or drank/ate in the plaza.

Wow bring back memory so much for me. I am not really explored shinjuku so much. Just some places. Like muji store, seria store, kfc, uniqlo near station. And that kfc was my 1st time ate kfc in japan. They have the 2nd floor right? I wish i can come back to japan.
Oh yeah, i think japan should provide more chairs or some thing that people can sit in public area. Yeah more chairs. And trash bin.

The 'Japan isn't like anime"? I get it now. I knew that but I was expecting more light or color. This looks like any American city except tidier, less ghetto, and more walkable. I like the public meeting space too.
