Zoo To You Bonus: Chacoan Peccary Peclet

We haven't done a Zoo To You in a while! We have a very special one today! Our Zoo Director, Josh Sisk, and our General Curator, Anna Pelc, have a super cute (and very special) Chacoan peclet to show you!
This peclet is being hand raised because it's mother rejected it for unknown reasons. Luckily, our vet and animal care staff have been able to hand feed it and so far it's doing great. We have high hopes that we'll be able to reintegrate into the herd in a few months.
You can see the rest of the Chacoan peccaries in their habitat by the picnic grove! There should be three adults and FIVE babies out there of different ages.
